I do NOT want to think of how close we came to that during Obama’s three terms. COVID insanity nearly tipped us into that abyss!
I was relieved when governors like Ron DeSantis pushed back against the federal madness on COVID, It felt like the little boy who said out loud that the emperor had no clothes. It broke the spell for a lot of people I think.
