I took these in the last week or two with the Sony A7S. Mostly with the Minolta 200mm F/4 Macro. But a few with the Sony FE 35mm F/1.4. Both very fine lenses.

I do a lot of macro and get the best results using my almost antediluvian A850 with Minolta 100mm f2.8 macro lens. If you can put up with the sluggish focusing and concrete block weight (by current Sony standards), the lens can come up with crystalline clarity.
I loved the A850 for everything in daylight. As far as I know the sensor produced files that were untouchable at ISO 100. Those Minolta lenses are pretty sweet. I’ve decided to try some crazy macro stuff. I’m gonna add extension tubes to the Voigtlander 10mm and see if this gives me more of the frame in focus. It’s goofy but after it’s the silly season and I have to keep it interesting. Have you ever tried stacking macro shots to get more in focus area?
