Yeah, well the result of the overwhelming choice by the American population is clear and they deserve neither Liberty nor Safety. And, frankly, they don’t care, just give them more “free” stuff.
I interpret the late Mr. Franklin’s saying to mean that they’ll get neither one. I think once you’ve identified yourself as sheep the slaughter can’t be too far away.
