What’s that? An Alpha of some description? If so, good luck for someone to get it to actually run long enough between breakdowns to burn a tank of fuel.

I had a Fiat 124 Spyder at one point in my life. Whew! No more.

Below is a picture of a REAL car, a 1949 amphibious VW with knobby tires!!

This is a restored German Afrika Korps staff car. Not 100% certain but I think from the right front fender meant that the car was for the commander of a German motorized MP outfit. It belongs to a retired US Airforce Major General who lives adjacent to Eglin AFB. There’s a 2000′ grass runway right next to his house.

Since this space doesn’t seem to be contested, I guess Photog won’t mind if I use it to show shots of cars that I’ve encountered over the past decade or so.

This was from a house at sea level abandoned after hurricane damage.
