In PS speak, that image consists of 6 layers:
The background, which is a heavily modified shot of a local cemetery
The crypt
The man figure, which is from the Naval Air Museum
The “3-D Transform” which is a multistep PS operation
The sky fill within the transform
A red filter over the background shot
I’ve got a copy of Elements but I’ve never so much as learned how to navigate the tool bar. I already begrudge what I need to do with the raw adjuster. I guess the blog eats up so much of my free time I’ll never get any better as a photo editor.
