It was a good Fourth. I spent it up in New Jersey with my girlfriend and her folks. It was nice to meet them, and a relief to learn that NJ isn’t just a concrete, dystopian hellscape. I see why it’s called the Garden State!

You’re too kind. My humble photographic compositions are good therapy to offset my feelings of drudgery at work.
Less than a third of Jersey is now dedicated bedroom space for NYC and Philly. The Pine Barrens down south are an interesting wild area or used to be, haven’t been there in decades.
My ongoing vacation has been fun. I go back next Monday and I’m already dreading it.
And of course, I have been enjoying the spectacle that the God Emperor is producing against the Four Horse Faces of the Apocalypse.
The first day back at work after a long vacation is always rough. Glad you could get some time off.
