It is. I imagine this is the worst picture of a bald eagle that any self-respecting photographer will ever admit to. I was at a lake last summer testing out a Sony 100-400mm zoom that I rented when I saw a large bird across the lake diving for something. I put a 2X teleconverter on the lens giving me an 800mm focal length equivalent and was barely able to tell through the viewfinder that it was indeed a bald eagle.
