I wonder if animals other than humans have an appreciation for beauty in nature? When my Shar Pei, Sissy, was alive I often took her to the local county airport and let her sniff around in the grove of trees on it’s western edge. Sometimes she’d just sit and stare at the sunset in autumn. Ohio sunsets in October can be spectacular. I wondered if she thought it was beautiful. She would sit and stare at it until it began getting dark.
Our dogs do seem like people, don’t they.
Yes. Someone once said that if dogs continue to hang with humans for another ten thousand years, they’ll learn to talk.
I hope they do. They’re good company.
