Hello everyone out in the world. Today is June 3rd 2022 and here in Dunwich the weather is changeable. Which just means it’s a normal day in New England. We had clouds then rain and now the sun is pretty hot. The local flora is bursting with chlorophyll and growing like crazy. It’s hard not to feel good on a day like today.
Of course, today I locked in my heating oil price for the next season and it was north of five dollars. Yikes! But if I didn’t cap it today it would be even higher when I did. So that’s what it looks like when Joe Biden wants us to “go green.” What he means is go broke. By the time Joe Biden is booted out of the White House in January of 2025 I expect that heating oil cap will be $10/gallon. This isn’t a very pleasant thought. Camera Girl’s food budget is going to be horrendous to compensate for what expensive oil is going to do to food prices.
But let’s not dwell on the negative. Let’s get back to that date in January 2025. Dementia Joe will probably be catatonic by then and strapped to an ambulance gurney for his ride to the third floor of some local nursing home where he’ll be hooked up to some tubes that will keep him clinically alive for a few months more before it will be safe to declare him brain dead. Too bad no one will declare him brain dead now. It might spare us all the bother of letting him rattle on about guns or abortion or his adventures with Corn Pop.
So, we’re all impatiently awaiting that day in thirty months when a new regime will come in and start repairing the damage Joe has caused. The first thing reversed will be the border. Closing the border will be easy. Getting the funds to finish the wall will be easy too without that nitwit Paul Ryan running the House. Kicking out the illegals will be the hard part. Then all the executive orders and other shenanigans that Biden used to reduce American oil production will need to be undone. That should also be easy.
What will be hard is what comes next, defanging the Deep State. Through a combination of appointments, changes to the federal law around federal bureaucrats and the reduction of the budgets of the various executive agencies the next president will have to establish control over the Frankenstein monster that is the federal government. And if it isn’t done then we will have to admit the truth that America is an empire ruled over by court mandarins. We’ve seen this in action as the bureaucracy selects the judges and jurors that will protect any henchman of the Deep State from accountability for breaking the laws that the rest of us have to follow.
Can Donald Trump (or his successor) do this? I have my doubts. We’ve seen no proof that he can. We have seen proof that the Justice Department and the FBI and the Obama appointed judges will punish with impunity anyone they choose to hold up as object lessons to the rest of us. No one has beaten the Deep State. But one good thing has happened. The Deep State has been clearly exposed. The non-leftist media; Tucker Carlson and a lot of smaller outfits like the Conservative Treehouse have made available proof that the Deep State is real and it is powerful and it is crooked as the devil’s backbone.
So, there’s a lot of question marks. The first one is whether we can get a fair election in November. If that fails then we don’t have to wait thirty months. We’ll already have our answer. At that point it’ll be a matter of getting out or waiting for the Visigoths. But it is a beautiful day today and I’ll go enjoy a little bit of it now.
