This should be read, recited, and discussed in every grade K-College! I think I first read it when I was 9 or 10, and innumerable times since.
Now that I’ve reached Kipling alphabetically I’ve got some fun stuff to choose from.
I would recommend Barracks Room Ballads, especially “Tommy”.
