I enjoyed that. As a product of a Yankee mother and a Deep Southern father, I can see both sides but gravitate to the Southern view.
Living my whole life as a conservative in the northeast I’ve always felt like a stranger in a strange land. But now when I listen to local coverage of the news and opinion it’s like something out of 1984, the Ministry of Truth. But one thing that has broken through the propaganda is the consequences of the illegal aliens getting bussed to New York and New England. It’s got them scared because it’s costing them money.
Isn’t it amazing how quotable Bob Heinlein is. Smart guy and he could write a good science fiction story too.
