Many, many years ago I saw Zero Mostel play Tevye on Broadway. He was good.
We did a community theatre production of it when I was stationed in Ankara, Turkey. A Jewish play, in a Moslem country, with Tevye played by an Irish-American Air Force Officer. He got a letter of thanks from the Israeli Ambassador for the power of his portrayal.
We can be human beings sometimes. I think it helps when we deal with each other one on one.
