Tyler over at the Portly Politico has a post and a YouTube video linked about Tiberius Gracchus and asks the question if Donald Trump is our Tiberius Gracchus. If you’re unfamiliar with this historical figure the video is a good intro. The parallel is reasonable. Both times feature a selfish elite that imports foreign labor to displace native-born opportunity. Both times feature an absurd imbalance of wealth that threatens the stability of the republic. And both feature a reformer who was the target of assassination. Let me know what you think.
