I’ve maintained power here in SC, but my parents and several friends have lost it.

It was nervous in the Pensacola area until the path was plain. Although we know that it’s a matter of time.

I’ve lived as far north as Vermont, and still had hurricanes come visit. I now live in South Carolina and just take the proper precautions, had whole-house generator installed, and joined a Swift-Water Rescue Team so my talents and experience can be put to good use.

Seen the early casualty reports. Last I saw was 20 dead and likely to rise once floods subside. Kinda rough.

Nothing but rain and some localized flooding in East Cobb county GA, periods of windy weather, heavy rain over a 2 day span. Rode it out, with no inconvenience at Casa de Wacko.

You live in East Cobb? My last 20 years in the area I lived near the intersection of Shallowford and Holly Springs. I loved that area.

I grew up in Sandy Springs, used to ride my go kart around the perimeter when they were grading it.

Up at the Cobb/ Cherokee line, very happy up here even if the demographics are changing quarterly. Will be leaving after I retire, moving to the family property out of state. Going where pensions and retirement isnt taxed.

Near enough, moved up here from S Fulton for job opportunities and became happier. The government is more responsive to the locals, and DDS is almost enjoyable, instead of a burden.
