I considered this chapter, and especially this passage to be the most chilling in the entire book. And if you look at the Democrat/Liberal/Progressive policies, it is exactly what they are pursuing.

Orwell is getting to the point. Strip away all the rhetoric and see clearly the underlying dynamic. That is the only reality.
