I’m pretty sure I know what he means and agree. I feel myself hitting this speedbump when in conversation with someone and feel that a 100% description of something will distract and decide to “gloss over” some aspect in an effort to keep from getting bogged down in the details.
Yes, I definitely “gloss over” certain details. Of course sometimes I do it guiltily, hoping nothing more is said.
