I very rarely read or link to National Review anymore. After their descent into NeverTrump madness, I mostly ignore them. But this article on Brexit is very informative and actually hopeful. If you’re interested in Brexit I recommend you read it.

Farange and his Brexit party are attracting voters from both Tory and Labor voters. The new party is out-polling both of these parties in the upcoming British EU elections and it is plain that in the future the Brexit Party will attempt to force the Brexit by winning seats from both the Tories and Labor in an upcoming general election at some time in the future.
Can Farange save the exit from the EU? Well, that’s a question mark at this point, but whatever else happens the Tories look to be out as the majority party once the next election finishes. And a self-inflicted death blow is the only way to describe it. This is what we’d expect from the likes of John McCain or Mitt Romney. Arrogant tone-deafness is the description I’d attach to this level of imbecility.
Since the Brexit vote in 2016 I have been hoping against my better judgement that the Brits will be successful and unshackle themselves from the stinking corpse of the Holy Roman Empire. But everyone I read seems either more pessimistic than I am or is gaslighting us into the hopelessness of escape. Thank you, Conrad Black, for an opposing and reasoned opinion. I realize that Black is an ally of Theresa May but that doesn’t mean he’s wrong or that she won’t be able to provide Brexit. she knows the voters want it and she knows that the majority of her Tories are against it. She has to negotiate the difference and then hope to run out the clock once the EU negotiations fail to provide a satisfactory “Soft Brexit.” I hope he’s right. I believe there’s less than three months to the end date. Fingers crossed.
