That’s a diorama?
I’ve seen some good ones, notably at the US Infantry Museum at Ft Benning and especially the Battle of Atlanta 360 degree “Cyclorama”.
Yes. Those have been at the museum since the 1940s (and some even in the 1920s). I remember seeing them as a youngster back in the 1960s. I read that Teddy Roosevelt shot some of the elephants that are on display.
