So cool! The wild turkey in its natural habitat: photog’s backyard.
There are several groups that circulate through the wooded areas around us. Lately two females and seven of the young of year have been moving around. Camera Girl watches for them because they peck the ground under her bird feeders but last Friday our German Shorthaired Pointers chased them right out of the yard. I think they’ll avoid us for a week or two, maybe longer. Too bad. I’d like a chance to take a better series of photos.
