The majestic eagle alights upon a dandelion before resuming his lofty flight. Caw caw!
My only bald eagle shot this year was from so far away that even with a 600mm lens the crop was so extreme that the result was kind of pixilated. Butterflies are a lot easier.
There’s something eagle-like about this monarch. Both kings of the sky, I suppose.
Oh, I like them too. One of my favorite subjects for nature shots. I let a lot of milkweed spread in some gardens because the caterpillars live on it.
