Glad you like it. They are a very bizarre sort of monster, beautiful and horrible too. I remember a description of a robber fly by a photographer who said their ferocity was such that if they were the size of dogs we would never be able to walk outside for fear of our lives.

Thanks, photog! They’re fantastic.
And, yes, they really are terrifying up close. Makes you think about those gigantic prehistoric dragonflies.
