09DEC2019 – Photo of the Day

These photos from the summer are already making me mournful about winter. We’ve already had a foot of snow, had it washed away and now are expecting another few inches tonight. The frogs and toads are some of the most reliable neighbors I have around here but looking at that picture is like looking at a tropical landscape, completely anomalous with my present surroundings. Well Christmas cookies should be some kind of consolation.
