The worm has turned. Kent leads his hyphenated opponent by a little over 800 votes. Now that’s gotta sting. I guess I owe the Washington Republicans an apology. Apparently, revenge is a dish they like best served up cold. With 99% of the vote counted I think that’s the end of that. After Cheney gets the boot on the 16th I believe that will make 8 out of ten Republican impeachment voters who won’t be back next year. 80%, not bad at all.

A politician’s primary characteristic is self serving. What do you think the Republicans who voted to impeach or convict thought to gain? A promise of a Dim pay off perhaps? 30 pieces of silver no doubt.
That’s why primarying them was the first priority. They needed to see that there are consequences for treachery.
