Here’s good wishes for the President and First Lady to have an uneventful recovery from their COVID infections. President Trump, like you, I could stand to lose twenty or more pounds. Here’s a good reason for both of us to start eating healthier and exercising more. Camera Girl and the First Lady, being thinner and healthier are sure to nag us to do these things but we should do them on our own to ensure that the world will have long term access to such magnificent men as ourselves.

Like millions of other Americans, Trump tests positive but shows no symptoms, feels no illness. Of course, the lefties are gleeful, but if he continues on he will only look stronger compared to Basement Joe. Yep, 2 year olds can be a handful. Yes, they do grow up fast. My oldest grandson is 16. That seems impossible but is so. But they are an incredible joy. Much more fun than your own children. And they actually like me! I guess it’s because I enjoy spoiling them. A few books and toys and you’re like a millionaire to them.
Yeah but I think it is the time together they cherish. Parents are busy working and providing, grandparents usually have time to share. I tried to spend as much time with my family as possible in the service, but I was often gone for extended periods. As a retiree, I had more time to spend with my grandson. Joe may be COVID negative and he was able to speak semi-coherently during the debate but he looked so frail and unhealthy during the broadcast that I’m willing to bet that a commercial that consisted of a closeup of Biden’s face for thirty seconds would do more than a two minute attack ad to convince people that Joe is too feeble to be President.
I was wondering when Trump would test positive. Unlike Biden, who could hide in a basement, the US president has to deal with a myriad of people every day. Correspondents, advisors, Secret Service, White House staff such as maids, butler, cooks, etc. He cannot isolate himself for very long. Military personnel, politicians, campaign staff, Cabinet members, the entire crews of Marine One and Air Force One. With intelligent medical care I think he has an excellent chance of getting through this without suffering the worst symptoms possible. Of course he should have trimmed down a bit when this thing started but then again so should I have. I’m very optimistic that he will rebound quickly. Prayers for the big guy.
