That is a catastrophe of the first order.
I understand that the Associated Press decided that race has to be injected into the bridge collapse mess by pointing out that the bridges’ namesake, Frances Scott Key, was a slave owner. And, presumably, the bridge got what was rightfully coming to it.

I grieve for the construction crews and the passengers in the autos which went onto the water. Last I read, rescue and recovery was still ongoing.
