So I’ve been here in Wyoming for almost a week and it has been amazing. I’ve seen wolves, bison, grizzlies, cinnamon black bears, pelicans and other beasties. We’ve visited the thermal effects, climbed the mountains, visited the lakes and rivers and made an excursion to the Tetons for a couple of days.
I’ll have photos for weeks but I’ll start off with one that I quite like.

Pelicans?
Lake Yellowstone is huge and has pelicans!
Well dang! We did see Lake Yellowstone, but we must have been on the wrong side for the pelicans!
We were fortunate enough to see A LOT of other wildlife, though.
The place is full of life. My photos of the grizzlies and wolves are awful due to distance and lack of light but the bison and elk were more accommodating. And I messed up a few camera settings for some shots of butterflies and ravens.
As far as those pelicans, they were in the distance but I might have some decent shots. I’ll be checking the files next week. Now I’m in the airport at Bozeman waiting for the long flights home.
