Has the US federal government been propping up left-wing media operations like Politico? Maybe it is.
According to Zero-Hedge:
“So 90% of “subscribers” to left-wing publications like Politico are fake and “taxpayer funded”. And then using fake subs to artificially pump up revenue, Politico gets to sell itself to German propaganda giant Axel Springer for $1 billion.”
It’s far from clear if this is exactly what’s going on. But at the very least the feds have been throwing resources at these sites through advertising money and very large “subscription” checks.
It looks like Trump has declared war on all facets of the Left.

I’ve been suspecting for years that the whole woke/hard left philosophy is so antithetical to every aspect of the nation that it had to be artificial. I’ll bet that 15% to 20% of the population that runs hard left has been running rampant over the rest of the population by tricks just like this.
I’ve long thought it absurd that the preponderance of the population of this nation felt that drag shows for primary schoolers was anything other than insane.
Apparently USAID is one of the piggy banks that the Left used for their favorite causes. Trump and Musk are shutting off the money on a case by case basis.
Most of the supposed NGO’S are fronts for money laundering, graft, embezzlement, bribes, etc. Democrats used them as private banks, including the Clintons, Obamas and Bidens.
Well they screwed the pooch when they made it real personal with Trump. A guy like him wants payback and hitting them in the wallet is perfect from his perspective.

I keep wondering if enjoying the lamentations of the Leftists being thrown off the gravy train makes me a bad person. And then I remember, they’re living large on the money being stolen from my descendants. And then I want it to happen faster. They’ve weaponized the money we pay in taxes for our own destruction. Eat the bureaucrats.
