How to Scare the Crap Out of School Boards and Other Gov’t Fascists

On this video (starting at 11:55) is a woman whose son is autistic and wearing a mask at school was causing him to harm himself and sending him to the hospital.  What she did was go on her own, directly to the company that bonded the members of the School District Governing Board and made a claim that she had been harmed.  And the Board ended the mask mandate rather than be found liable and pay for a legal defense against the bond company holding them liable.

As the saying goes, I am not a lawyer but I play one on tv.  But this seems like a very productive angle at which to attack these bastards.  Most of these people really love their money.  threatening that sounds like a great idea.  The woman who performed this miracle stresses that she completely avoided any involvement by a lawyer.  she made her claim to the bonding company by herself.  That alone amazes me.  If this seems interesting, take a look at the 11:55 mark.

Wanted: Local Political Contributors

As the Primary and General Off-Year Elections creep up on us I’m interested in getting posts from readers about their local political scene.  Places like Texas, Colorado, Florida, Ohio, South Carolina, North Carolina, Illinois, Minnesota are represented by readers here.  Even Canada and Australia have local political stories that some of our readers might want to provide.  So if you are interested in sharing your perspective on your local politics, get in touch.  Either leave a comment or send an e-mail to orionscoldfire at charter dot net.  Anonymity is, of course, perfectly fine and if you prefer to discuss local cultural issues instead of or in addition to politics that also is encouraged.  I’ll add this want-ad to the footer of the posts for a while to see if I can entice any readers to write.

The ZMan Counsels the Zombies of the Right

The ZMan has a very interesting post, “Day Walkers.” He makes an analogy between the Alt-Right and the zombie-vampires in I Am Legion.  He equates right wing speakers going on campus to vampires attacking humans in the daylight, basically a vampire suicide scenario.  I haven’t had a chance to think this whole analogy out completely but I definitely see what he is talking about and it is worth thinking about.
