Ok, here’s one I recently wrote on the FoxNews site about the Second Amendment and gun registration/licensing.

We don’t have to register to exercise our free speech (unless we’re conservatives on a liberal college campus). We don’t have to register or be licensed to enjoy freedom of religion, nor freedom of peaceful assembly.
I postulate that speech has killed more people than private citizen’s guns. How many people did Hitler kill, himself, I mean? How many times did he pull the trigger and take a life? No record on if he ever did it in WWI, and as far as we know, he only ever pulled the trigger on one person – himself. Yet he used words, speech, to create hatred for millions of people and gave orders, which are words, to exterminate over 6 million people who had no guns to defend themselves from his words. Sticks and stones may indeed break bones but words can cause a Holocaust.
If the pen indeed be mightier than the sword, then maybe we should start registering pens and speech, forcing practitioners of free speech whether verbally or in writing to comply with odious licensing procedures and taking away the pen and speech whenever someone waves a “red flag”. I bet you’d see CNN and MSNBC howl then.
I was listening to the Z-Man’s Friday morning podcast this morning. It’s on the Ancient Greeks and since that is something that I’m more than somewhat steeped in it was quite a lot of fun to listen to. Lots of good comparisons between Ancient Athens and the United States. What was topical was at minute 56 of the podcast he mentions that broadcast that Tucker Carlson did recently. I linked to it a couple of days ago and said it sounded like Tucker was running for President. What the Z-Man said was that it sounded like Carlson was reading aloud some of the dissident right posts that he and the other writers have been putting out for six or more years.
What this reminds me of is Vox Day’s constant refrain that “the Alt-Right is inevitable.” Well, I don’t know if the Alt-Right or the Dissident Right’s agenda is inevitable but what seems to inevitable is that a very good chunk of the American Nation is waking up to the fact that they’ve been putting their faith in men who really couldn’t care less if they lived or died. In fact, it appears they’d prefer it if we just up and died as quickly as possible. Call it the shifting Overton window or the red-pilling of the normies or whatever you like but if a Cloud Dweller like Tucker Carlson is coming around to the nitty gritty of where we’re headed then it won’t be long before even the most brain-dead denizen of Squaresville, USA will be waking up to the realization that Paul Ryan and Mitt Romney do not mean them well.
What I’m curious about is what will be the next big step change. In the same way as Blue States practice civil disobedience such as Sanctuary Cities, will Red States start protecting their citizens against national policies that they object to? For instance, if companies like Master Card and Google continue de-platforming conservatives could state attorneys general begin legal proceedings against these companies to force them to relent? Maybe they’ll prosecute the local universities that indoctrinate kids and strip them of their legal rights.
Honestly, I don’t know what’s next. But it does appear that dissident ideas are getting mainstreamed at least to some extent. Reading about the Baltimore lawyer who is suing the Southern Poverty Law Center and attempting to have their tax-free status revoked for using illegal tactics to get him fired from the Baltimore City government sounds like maybe a first step to addressing the radical de-platforming. Hearing this week that Master Card may be joining forces with the crowd-funding companies to deny access to e-commerce to conservatives sounds like some kind of Maoist or Stalinist internal exile tactic. At lest in the gulag they fed you once in a while. In our cashless society, denial of access to a credit card is tantamount to being an exile from modern life.
And this all points to the paradox of how I feel about the current situation. A few years ago, I didn’t know just how bad it really was but I was almost in depression because I couldn’t understand why we kept losing when we seemed to have the upper hand. Now I realize just how bad it is and that most of our “leaders” aren’t really trying to help us and yet I’m actually strangely optimistic. I feel like knowing the problem makes it possible for me to take some actions and improve how I live my life.
Will the unrest on the right reach critical mass? It’s hard to say but I’m interested to see what Tucker Carlson ends up doing in the next year or two. He’s a popular journalist and could do a lot to persuade people. Stay tuned.

This is fifteen minutes long and a lot of it is familiar but it’s extremely well done. He must be running for President in 2024. This reads like a campaign platform. It makes sense and it will make you hate our so-called leaders even more. He even calls out Romney by name as the face of the uncaring mercenary.
As is my way I’m trying to come up with the name of something before the something even exists. I’ve become intrigued with the idea of starting a fraternal order that would provide a place for people like me to feel at home. Both of the names in the title are imaginary societies that appeared in popular tv shows when I was a kid. The He-Man Woman Haters Club was where the Little Rascals congregated when they were having trouble with Darla or the other girls in the neighborhood and the Racoon Lodge is where Ralph and Ed retreated to when Alice and Trixie were nagging them about the dumpy apartments, they lived in. Of course, these names may be under copyright protection but any name will do as long as the ground rules are right.
Rule 1 – All voting members will be married men. They have to be men because women are a nuisance. They have to be married because wisdom only comes through suffering and no one suffers as much as married men. Unmarried men are welcome but cannot vote.
Rule 2 – All memberships will be approved by me based on interviews and recommendations of people I can vouch for. Memberships can be revoked any time someone stops fitting the membership criteria. I decide the criteria and can change them anytime I deem it necessary. It’s a flexible system and should prove robust.
Rule 3 – The women’s auxiliary is made up exclusively of wives who can make sandwiches. They have no standing in the organization other than to assist the members, cheer at sporting events, chaperone children’s activities and make sandwiches (and other designated foodstuffs). If any wife becomes a nuisance she will be ejected and her husband will be liable for the offense up to and including expulsion. Girlfriends of unmarried members can join the auxiliary but must get along with the wives. Any member who has a wife and a girlfriend will have to sort that out himself.
Rule 4 – All children’s activities must be chaperoned by the parents or legal guardians of the children attending. This is key. People should care enough to spend time with their kids. If you don’t want to why would we?
Rule 5 – No member can openly espouse Democrat, progressive, communist, socialist, globalist, anti-American or any other pinko sentiments. You can be an atheist if you refrain from annoying religious people about it. The organization is innately pro-God because God has always done right by me. But we are not denominational. God only talks to me when I’m alone and won’t allow me to tell anyone else what religion he belongs to. Sorry.
Rule 6 – Men will wear pants at all times. This is very important. We are Americans and American men wear pants. End of story. You Scots are out of luck.
Rule 7 – Whenever in the course of a meeting or in organizational documents a pronoun is used for a person of indeterminate sex the masculine form will be used. If this bothers you then you’re in the wrong club.
Other rules equally idiosyncratic will follow as I get around to making them up. Suffice it to say that I will provide rules to prevent all the behaviors that annoy me in everyday politically correct arenas. No make-believe pronouns, no gender equality, no weirdos of any kind (other than my kind of weirdos).
I am openly soliciting a name for this noble fraternal organization. And if you can think of anything that needs to be added to the rules or if you have other comments, such as, “you must be insane!” then just leave them in the comment section below.
