“Horrible incompetence or intentional fraud?” Methinks incompetence would tend to benefit random participants. When the same participant receives the benefit in EVERY instance, incompetence can’t be eliminated but fraud is definite.
As perfectly exemplified by the lady sitting there, on camera, repeatedly feeding the same batch of ballots through the scanner with no attempt at obfuscation, it is possible to be simultaneously incompetent and fraudulent.
You’re right. I tried to seem overly fair when I characterize what is going on there. At this point the exercise may not be to fix the system. That may be impossible. The intent is to let as many people as possible know that the game is rigged. Maybe then we can decide how we get a new game going.
