From ignorance our comfort flows.

The Crazies are Out There and They’re Mad as Hell
I think we’re going to have to get used to mass shootings and assassinations for the foreseeable future. I’m not saying this rhetorically or to be facetious. I literally believe we will see any number of school shootings and other psychotic attacks from now on. The reason I think this is there are a large number of “trans-people” walking around. And a lot of them are extremely unhappy. And by unhappy, I mean suicidal and full of rage. Basically, they realize that they’ve destroyed their lives and their bodies and they want to revenge themselves on the world. I think that’s the most likely reason. And so, they’re striking out against those whom they identify as their enemies; basically, normal people and especially those who publicly deny the validity of the trans-identity.
Now this is a horrible situation we’re in. There are thousands of these people and even if the murderous subset is less than a fraction of a percent that is still a lot of murders to have to endure. The only positive in this situation is the fact that the frequency of trans-killers is beginning to become apparent to the population at large and this realization will go a long way to making law enforcement begin to track the commonalities of these killers and find any communications and planning going on in this “community.”
I’ve been reading a number of accounts of young men and women who have de-transitioned after realizing that they had made a huge mistake. Now these people are extremely upset but they have backed away from the unreality of the trans-identity and attempted to salvage their lives in their original identities. Many are physically mutilated but they are trying to pick up the pieces of their lives and reconnect with their families and friends as their old selves. And I have enormous respect for their honesty.
But that is not the profile of the trans-shooters. They may regret their adoption of a trans-identity but they want to pin the blame for their failure on society for not “affirming” their identity hard enough. They’ve probably seen thousands of bystanders look at them with shocked or disapproving expressions and this continuous denial of their normalcy has finally worn down their resolve. Deep down they know they’ve reached a dead end. Their new identities don’t give them the joy they expected. Quite the contrary, their lives are full of frustration and pain.
It seems to me conservative groups should attempt to put together public service materials to be made available to parents to try and protect children from the inaccurate portrayal of what actually happens to someone who tries to change his sex. It should speak to the physical dangers and health impairments but it should also address the mental health dangers that are on display by many members of this movement. Trying to limit the spread of this dangerous cult should be one of the most important public health initiatives in our country. Hopefully the red states aren’t just depending on bans on pediatric “affirmative care.” They need to alert parents and make them aware that the schools in certain districts are working against their interests by sponsoring and encouraging the trans-gender movement at school and behind parents’ backs.
So, buckle up. The crazies are out there and they’re mad as hell.

Out of the deep I have called unto thee, O Lord: Lord hear my voice.

And I Believe That to be the Truth
Well, I’m glad I got Thursday’s post out of my system. Knowing just how deep the divide in this country is can be really depressing. But today I made a point to stop viewing horrible people saying the horrible things that they believe. And that has made a big difference.
I looked around and found plenty of good people talking about the constructive things going on all over this country. I went to the Dunwich Republican Town Committee meeting and we got three new members and we finished the meeting in half the time we usually take and that’s some kind of record. So, the world isn’t better or worse than it was a week ago. All that’s changed is we know a lot more clearly just how many awful people are walking around in the country. There are millions and millions of them. Some are careful about speaking their true opinions and some are so full of entitlement that they’ll just spew their poisonous hate right out loud. But regardless, they all hate us and what we value, to a degree that’s hard to exaggerate.
And this exposure, this unmasking is one of the greatest gifts we could hope to receive. This will awaken the oblivious. Of course, not all of them. It won’t awaken the walking dead from the neck up. But lots of normies have gotten a wake-up call that they’ll remember. They’re finding out that trans-people aren’t these kind, gentle invalids that we have to handle with kid gloves or they’ll perish of sadness. No, they’re delusional psychopaths hopped up on drugs and hormones and full of anger and resentment against anyone who doesn’t affirm their psychoses or just wants to avoid them. And that is exactly what is needed; recognition of reality. These people are delusional and if you attack their delusion, they and their friends feel completely justified by “defending themselves” by murdering you!
I was also enheartened to hear President Trump has declared Antifa a criminal terrorist entity. I was listening to some guy on a podcast say that Antifa doesn’t fit the correct definition of a domestic terror organization. He was some kind of think-tank expert. Well, that may be technically true but I doubt that it will stop Donald Trump from attacking these people wherever and whenever he can reach them. And after watching Kash Patel telling the moronic Democratic senators what he really thought of them I’m feeling more comfortable with the FBI’s current posture with regard to domestic terror. Maybe we’re finally going to see a bunch of black block foot soldiers get squashed.
And jus to round off my improving week, I sent out a bunch of copies of my manuscript of “The Sniper” to some beta readers for comment. I’m very excited to get honest feedback. And I told my readers to be as brutally honest as the can be. I’m very interested to see if they identify the same strengths and weaknesses in the story that I find. Of course, if they all say it’s boring worthless dreck that may put a damper on my spirit. But the Good Book says, “The truth shall set you free.” And I do believe that.

20SEP2025 – Quote of the Day
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.
Book of Common Prayer

Now Where’s My Coffee?!!!
While I sent out copies of my book to somewhat willing beta-readers I remembered I had some projects kicking around the house. When I mentioned this, Camera Girl informed me that I had failed as a maintenance manager. She handed me the contact information of the last plumber we had used (quite a while ago) and reminded me that we now had three plumbing issues that needed to be attended to. These problems had been haunting her sense of propriety for a good long while and now righteous anger had welled up and I was the malefactor who should have taken matters into my own hands long ago, “Call him today! It’ll take a week to get him here so get this done before we’re too busy in a couple of weeks.” I nodded my head in bitter remembrance. She was right. There was a water line on one of the toilet tanks that leaked when it was flushed. There was a shower drain on the first floor that had a plate that had no screw holding it down but was welded tight and she was afraid it was clogged based on some comments she had heard from the kids during the summer pool season when they used that shower after swimming. And finally, there was that sink basin that had a crack in the porcelain that leaked.
Each problem separately was minor and ignorable for at least the medium term. But taken together they spoke of dereliction of duty, mopery and dopery, flimflammery and bone-laziness. I was contrite. I mumbled my assent. And she left to go about her litany of errands. She had to buy crickets for the two preying mantises that she had captured this week. She wanted to save them from the approaching cold weather. And also, to see if they would produce egg sacs for next year. And she had various other duties; packages for the post office, books and movies to the library, a jigsaw puzzle for a friend of hers and some miscellaneous goods to buy at Wallymart. Each one of these multitasked errands added to the indictment of my malfeasance.
So, I sat down and tried to put down on paper the plumbing work I wanted done. After all you don’t call a tradesman and ask him to spend expensive time without trying to minimize the cost by defining the work. First off there was the leaking water line on the toilet. It was one of those somewhat flexible stainless lines. Where it met the valve near the floor it was rusted from the dripping water it created. But was it dripping from the toilet connection or the valve fitting. And I realized I had never even bothered to decide which problem it was. If it was leaking from downstream of the valve, maybe I could buy a new piece of flexible line and replace it beyond the shutoff valve.
So, I went upstairs and looked at the line. It was dry. So, I flushed the toilet and I saw drops of water flowing down from the toilet to the floor. Now I was interested. I kneeled down and twisted around and I could see a plastic fitting at the toilet tank. There was a threaded nut. So, I tried to hand tighten it. It gave a little so I tightened as hard as I could by hand. I dried off the line and flushed the toilet. No water. I flushed it again. No water. I flushed it a third time. No water. Hail the conquering hero!
I went down to the bottom floor and looked at the shower drain. Sure enough, the drain plate had no screw but was tight to the orifice. I stared at it for a few seconds and pulled on the plate as hard as I could and it popped off. There was some debris in it so I got my pliers and pulled out some hair and muck. Then I ran the shower full blast for ten minutes. No water backing up. Now I was a veritable demigod of home improvement.
I marched up to the cracked sink with an air of bored confidence and examined the piping connections. Sure enough, there was a plastic threaded coupling connecting it to the piping and almost nothing else in the way from removing it from the countertop. With a look of contempt, I walked over to the contact information with half a mind to call up this tradesman and inform him that his services would not be needed.
When Camera Girl returned, I straightened her out on the status of her honey-do list. “Items one and two solved! Item three has been surveyed, a path forward has been devised and the schedule is already in place. Now where’s my coffee?!!!
