03MAR2022 – Quote of the Day
The world breaks everyone and afterward many are strong at the broken places. But those that will not break it kills. It kills the very good and the very gentle and the very brave impartially. If you are none of these you can be sure it will kill you too but there will be no special hurry.

Guest Contributor – War Pig – The Battle of the Bulge
My uncle, who fought under Patton, told me of how the battle shaped up for him and his tank crew. It was snowy and icy and muddy all at the same time. The Germans did blow up trees to block roads and used mines and panzerfausts with skill and daring. They shelled trees to make splinters to wound the infantry. Pattons forces did have to fight without air cover. I don’t know if it was the prayer Patton uttered or just a warm front moving in but when the skies cleared, P47s, B25s/26s and British Typhoons feasted upon the Germans. The brave men of the 101st Airborne were heroic in their stand which brought down the entire offensive. Both the last stand of the 101st and Patton’s charge are excellent examples of American military exceptionalism.
Dementia Joe Wants to Find Out What Comes After Trillion
So, Joe wants to cure cancer. He couldn’t even face up to COVID but he wants to cure cancer. And amazingly he ended by declaring that “the state of our nation, I mean our union, is strong.”
It was as expected, long, boring, and dishonest. He went over all the crap he wanted to spend money on and told us all about the courageous Ukrainians (or Iranians as he called them at one point). I counted about ten verbal gaffes but he didn’t fall off the podium so it was a big win for him. But let’s do a quick review. He lied about the border, he lied about crime, he lied about off-shoring jobs, he lied about energy, he lied about inflation, he lied about COVID and he lied about everything else I can’t remember. And Pelosi and Kamala spent most of the speech clapping like seals to protect their finger nails.
I wish I could get the hour back.
The Governor of Iowa. Kim Reynolds, did a pretty good job. She was coherent, didn’t say anything obviously untrue and was able to lay out a case for why the real leadership in this country on COVID was provided by Republican governors. All in all, she was a hundred times more believable than Dopey Joe and much easier to listen to.
Well, that’s my report. It wasn’t fun because he didn’t seize up and tumble off the podium. I guess there’s always next year.

02MAR2022 – Quote of the Day
All good books are alike in that they are truer than if they had really happened and after you are finished reading one you will feel that all that happened to you and afterwards it all belongs to you; the good and the bad, the ecstasy, the remorse, and sorrow, the people and the places and how the weather was. If you can get so that you can give that to people, then you are a writer.

Zuckerberg Accused of Bribery in WI Vote Investigation
“According to the report, Priscilla Chan and Mark Zuckerberg providing financing that allowed the Center for Tech and Civic Life to offer nearly $9 million in “Zuck Bucks” to Milwaukee, Madison, Racine, Kenosha and Green Bay counties. In exchange, the “Zuckerberg 5,” as the report called the counties, in effect, operated Democratic get-out-the-vote efforts. Those grant funds then paid for illegal drop boxes to be placed in Democratic voting strongholds.
The illegal use of drop boxes represented a second area of concern to the special counsel’s office. The report notes state election code limits the manner in which ballots may be cast, providing that an elector must personally mail or deliver his or her ballot to the municipal clerk, except where the law authorizes an agent to act on the behalf of the voter.”
So now the Wisconsin legislature has to address the results of the report but this will be in the face of obstruction from the Democrat Governor and Attorney General. This should make the 2022 Wisconsin elections even harder for the Democrats. I believe the Governor is already behind in the polls.
Fat Tuesday and Lent
When I was an Italian American kid back in Brooklyn, Lent was a truly annoying time of the year. Meat was taken off the menu and fish was substituted. But being poor people, we were served this awful white fish of some sort or other, breaded and fried. It took a lot of ketchup to make that stuff palatable. When Camera Girl and I got married and set up our own household I was overjoyed to hear that her family wasn’t observant of the Lenten abstention. We two decided to go for the appearance over the substance. So, ashes on Ash Wednesday and beef, chicken and pork remained on the menu. And when Easter arrived, I put in a request for lamb. Now Camera Girl hates lamb so unsurprisingly it’s probably ham nine out of ten years and lamb once a decade.
You can see why for the last 45 odd years I’ve never concerned myself with Fat Tuesday. Eating a lot of bad food just to prepare myself for Lent has no rationale for me. But I told Camera Girl it was Fat Tuesday today and asked her what delicacy would be for dinner. She looked at me with naked disdain and said she didn’t know yet and not to expect anything great. This is why women shouldn’t be allowed to vote. Their judgement is clouded by a lack of strategic thinking. Here was her big chance to impress the boss (me) with her ability to think on her feet and all she can come up with is discouraging words. What was needed was a big bold flexible outlook. What I got was negativity and defeatism. Terrible.
So, I’m forced to imagine what I might want to get if Fat Tuesday were a real thing in my home. What comes to mind immediately is some kind of Cajun cuisine. Some kind of gumbo or jambalaya. Maybe something with alligator and craw daddies or whatever the hell they eat down there. And some kind of French pastries with espresso or some other type of strong black coffee with lots of sugar in it. I would sit out on my balcony as a parade of demented masked and costumed drug fiends shimmied by on their garish and outlandish floats and requested the crowd to throw beads at them for some perverse reason. I see myself wearing a white suit and brandishing an ornate walking stick as I regally wave a benediction at the inebriated bacchants. Possibly I would be entertaining a small gathering of the decadent descendants of the plantation aristocracy now reduced to the status of penniless moochers at my table. We would discuss the antebellum origins of the Mardi Gras and the rumors of voodoo and vampirism in the neighborhood. I would tut-tut derisively and hold court on the true goings on; the cult of Cthulhu down in the swamps and bayous and how a recently discovered stone idol proved that the re-emergence of the Cthulhu from his dream death at the bottom of the Atlantic was imminent.
Or something like that. Well actually, Camera Girl was pulling my leg. She’s making lentils and rice in pastiche, which in Camera Girl’s family is green peppers preserved in oil and vinegar. Which is one of my favorites and come to think about it is a pretty good meal for Lent. Well, forget about the whole Cthulhu thing and also the decadent plantation jazz. Maybe I’ll have some black coffee instead.
Guest Contributor – Chemist – 01MAR2022 – Texas Primary Election Day
Today is primary day in Texas. (Or if you are a republican in my town, the only voting day that matters.)
While voting an older man and his elderly, wheelchair bound, father came in.
The older man was irate that he didn’t get an absentee ballot for his father like in years past.
“Last three years, the ballot comes in the mail. This year – nothing.”
The clerk replied that you now have to request the ballot.
The older man countered that “Dad doesn’t do computers. How is he supposed to request one?”
The clerk told him that he could call for one and the man said this was a pain.
I wanted to jump in and say:
“Yup. Another thing the democrats fucked up for everyone.
After the wholesale cheating in 2020 we had to change the laws which make it more difficult for everyone, so thank a Democrat!”
But I kept my mouth shut.

We Gotta Get Organized
I read the reports of Marjorie Taylor Greene being denounced for speaking at Nick Fuentes’ AFPAC convention. And while she was careful to say that she doesn’t know all his views and therefore doesn’t go on record as supporting them she went to the convention to speak to the thousand of attendees there who are fans of the MAGA movement that she does support.
Fuentes is called a white supremacist even though he’s Hispanic. I guess he must be one of those dangerous “white Hispanics” we hear about. He is a white nationalist and he is on the dissident right. He’s also being persecuted by the January 6th investigation and all of his assets have been seized and his life turned upside down. He’s on a no-fly list and I’m sure other lists equally debilitating. But what Greene did was important. She connected with the untouchables and thereby lessened their isolation. We need more of that. Much more.
What’s especially needed is some legitimate organization to start bridging the gaps between the deplorables and the untouchables. Fuentes isn’t some hatemonger raving against non-white people. He is a conservative, America first type who isn’t mealy-mouthed about the anti-white bigotry he sees all around him. I don’t doubt that he could sit down at the same table as conservatives of various ethnicities and look for common ground and a coalitional agenda.
To be totally honest I think what the right needs to do is start being honest about identifying the specific pain points that various identity groups express under the Democrat regime and forge that into an agenda that can strip some of these ethnic groups away from the Democrat coalition. The obvious 600-lb gorilla is the Hispanic or Latino population. This is the largest non-white population in the United States and is also relatively conservative compared to the rest of the country. Finding common ground with them should be relatively easy. Some of the Asian populations are also quite upset about Democrat moves to eliminate test-based admissions to gifted school programs. There’s a natural entre into bringing them aboard the Right.
So, there are opportunities to build a coalition. What is needed is leadership that can smooth over the trouble that the media causes when it characterizes pro-white advocacy as white supremacy. And it will be important for the dissident right to start thinking in terms of how to open lines of communication with these other groups. What Marjorie Taylor Greene did was a first step. What Donald Trump did at CPAC acknowledging her presence there was a second step. That’s the first shaky steps toward bridging the gap. When the dissident right starts sharing a stage with Latinos and Asians and even Blacks and can find something to talk about, that will be the point at which we can cut out the Democrats and start directly negotiating the future.
So, there’s my mad dream. My kumbaya moment. I’d like to see the various communities in America honestly addressing their differing agendas and hammering out a modus vivendi. They don’t have to all love each other; they just have to find the best deal available. Without the Democrats to inflame hatreds and demonize Whites, chances are, there would be enough common ground to live in relative harmony. Once again all it takes is an organization that can deal with people, as opposed to the Republican Party which is basically the gang that couldn’t shoot straight.
