Who are You Going to Believe, Cable News Talking Heads or Your Own Damn Lying Eyes?

The Democrats, the Media and probably the Deep State have performed two miracles.  One is they committed election fraud on a scale that even Chicago’s late Mayor Richard Daley would never have dreamed of.  And the second miracle is they have given sight to the blind.  They performed these two miracles simultaneously right there in front of us in the early hours of November 4th.  The first of these events I knew of immediately upon seeing it.  Seeing President Trump up by 800,000 votes in Pennsylvania and then hearing that somehow, he was going to lose the state I could see that fraud so massive as to be unexplainable by rational voting patterns was being perpetrated.  The second miracle came to my attention this week.  I have spoken to people who have been able to believe even into late 2020 that we’re still living in normal times and that the people on the right-wing are alarmists and exaggerating the scope of the problems we face.  They were sure that with just the right tweaks to the agendas on the Left and Right we could all be singing kumbaya in the middle.  Well, I spoke with one of them this week and he said straight out, “You were right about everything.”  Seeing the election and then hearing the evidence on the scope of the election fraud finally broke through his shell and drew blood.  He was blind but now he sees.

Based on human nature I know that these recent converts are going to be very uncomfortable with the reality they’ve just awakened to.  It’s painful to know you don’t live in the democracy you thought you did.  This will lead to all kinds of dithering and rationalizing and confusion.  But he’s taken the first step to facing facts and figuring out how to deal with the reality he now recognizes.  And maybe he decides to cave into the Left.  But at least it will have to be a conscious decision and I won’t have to hear anymore excuses for why things always happen the way they do.

How many people did this election wake up?  I’m going to guess that it’s around ten million people.  That equates to about half of the voters in the middle.  These people don’t pay much attention to politics every day but they vote and they watch the election every four years.  They’ll be hard pressed to ignore what they saw.  Even with the networks providing cover for the Democrats there will be enough information getting through to let them know this wasn’t a normal election and that really bad things happened in the vote-counting rooms of the Democrat cities.

For the people who read on this site that’s hardly news.  We have been watching this happen for years and want the courts to do something about it.  We want to see the FBI step in.  And we also know why they haven’t.  But for the sleepwalkers among us this is a revelation.  Their world view is going to change.  And that’s a big damn thing.  And having it happen to so many people and having it happen at the same time as the COVID lockdown and the Antifa/BLM insurrection will exacerbate the outrage they will feel.

So, for any of the recently red-pilled brethren showing up at this site, welcome!  We don’t have any magic bullets here.  There are no saviors, no magic road to salvation.  All we have is clarity and camaraderie and news from the front.  We’re all in this for the long haul and we try to reclaim territory one square inch at a time.  Welcome aboard.

19NOV2020 – Status Report on the Election and the Country

Here we are going into the third week after the election and, if anything, things are getting weirder.  By all indications the fraud that took place was more organized than any typical urban election shenanigans.  The rigged computer software and the manufacturing of bogus election ballots on the order of hundreds of thousands of votes looks to be fraud on a scale that even jaded judges will be hesitant to ignore.

The election certifiers are even getting into the act.  The votes for Detroit have been called into question by the two Republican certifiers and I have to assume that we are going to see confidence in the voting process drop to rock bottom levels.  Currently 52% of Republican voters surveyed think that the Democrats stole the election and as things become clearer that number will probably rise to 95%.

President Trump is getting legal help from several people who have shown themselves to be unafraid of the media circus and aren’t worried about being blacklisted by the Democrats and the Never Trump Republicans.  The big question mark will be the Supreme Court.  In my mind what the President needs is to get the information out to the American public and then let public opinion force the Justice Department and the courts to do their jobs and look to see what the facts on the ground are.  We’re no longer in the world of the 1960 Election or even the 2000 Election where worry over damaging America’s trust in the institutions of the government is more important than the results of an election.  There is no trust in the institutions of government.  That has now become the operating principle.  If the 72 million people who voted for Donald Trump think they were cheated, which they do, then effectively Joe Biden would be an illegitimate president.  And that will have very serious consequences.  We saw how debilitating the “resistance” to President Trump’s administration was.  I assume that having half the country sure that you are a crook who cheated his way into the White House would render Joe Biden a veritable prisoner in the Oval Office.  Wherever he went he would be booed and hooted at.  I won’t even speculate beyond that point.

On balance I think if President Trump prevails in the election battle the resistance against him will be even more intense than what we have seen up till now.  The only difference is that he has become inured to it and has developed strategies and located personnel who can cope with it.  In either case we have now reached the point of complete polarization in the country.  The proportion of people who haven’t joined one side or the other is minimal.  The relationship between the two sides has reached the point of boiling animosity and open conflict including murder has already occurred along the geographic lines where the most radical partisans on both sides find themselves juxtaposed, like Portland and Kenosha.

I can’t see that things are going to calm down regardless of how the election is decided.  From my point of view, it is important to start thinking about living in a country that will become more and more disunited.  All the things we’ve been saying about developing our own platforms and institutions is becoming more relevant and crucial.  One thing that is clear is that we are living in a treacherous environment.  It is important that people are careful about what they say because everything they say can be heard by everybody in the world.  Be aware of your surroundings and pay attention to information that can help you avoid trouble.  Protect those important to you in every way you can.  And most importantly avoid places that you know will be filled with irrational individuals.  Physical danger is now not a conspiracy theorist’s paranoid delusion.  It’s a living breathing reality.

18NOV2020 – American Greatness Post of the Day – NY Sheriffs Save the Holidays

Sheriffs in four New York Counties have stated that they will refuse to harrass New Yorkers in their jurisdictions for hosting more than ten people at the holidays,

“Saratoga County Sheriff Michael Zurlo also vowed not to enforce the regulations, WRGB Albany reported.  “I can’t see how devoting our resources to counting cars in citizens’ driveways or investigating how much turkey and dressing they’ve purchased is for the public good,” the law enforcement authority told the local outlet.”

Sanity from elected officials in in New York, is that allowed?  Bravo gentlemen.  Hopefully your courage will be emulated elsewhere.

Political Realities of America – Part 2

In the first installment of this article I listed the available choices I see for right-wingers in America.  To reiterate what I said in the first part, “I think we have three choices.  Fold, flee or fight.  Surrender to the hive, leave the areas under their control, or fight them.”  I’ve given my thoughts on the first two options.  I will now hold forth on the last option, fight.

Now full disclosure, I’m not former military, law enforcement, a ninja or an itinerant samurai.  I don’t even study military history at the enthusiast level.  I will not be able to discourse on what kind of strategy or tactics are needed to wage any kind of war on our enemies.  And that is fine because I don’t think we need anyone who is qualified in those things for the foreseeable future.  The battles we will be fighting will take place in courts and the court of public opinion.  They will take place in the public square and in the electronic versions of it.  And it will take place in the state legislatures and state houses, the schools and colleges and unions and churches and grocery stores and department stores and book stores and the electronic equivalent (Amazon.com) and it will take place in the homes of Americans.  Or it won’t take place at all.

And I want to tell you a little secret about my original three choices.  They are not really completely separate.  For instance, suppose you live in one of the bluest of blue states and actually serve in the managerial state.  From my original division you are classified as someone who has folded.  You are living under the yoke of the woke state.  But who is to say that you aren’t maintaining a clandestine existence as a right-wing blogger providing support and encouragement to our side?  He may be part of a secret cell that coordinates activities and transfers information back and forth from behind enemy lines.

According to my division, if you leave a blue state and move to a red state then you are a fleeing the field.  But what if you prefer to chose the ground from which to fight?  I’ve always heard that picking the high ground is the only way to win a battle.  I don’t deny that guerilla tactics are effective in some cases.  But trying to lead an insurgency in one of the deep blue states like in New England is almost an impossible prospect.  Finding a red state home to embrace seems like a much better opportunity to be part of the struggle.  The added advantage is that while you’re fighting you can enjoy the benefits of living under a friendly regime.  The laws won’t be stacked against you and your neighbors truly will be like neighbors.  It’s kind of hard to reason against any of that.

Putting all of that aside what does it mean to fight for our side in America?  It means working to change the system and the institutions that we live under.  It means building social networks for people like us.  And it means electing leaders who will have the courage to stand up to the federal government and tell them no.

With respect to this last item, I am waiting for a state legislature and governor to write a law that doesn’t cave into the non-Constitutional decisions that the Supreme Court has decided on some issue, probably on a social issue.  And once the Supreme Court rules against it I am waiting for the governor to say, “I don’t care what the Supreme Court says, that is the law of our sovereign state and we’re not going to back down.”  That is what I’m waiting for.  Even under a democrat president I do not think we’ll be seeing troops on the ground to enforce the Supreme Court’s decision.  If that happens it will be the beginning of something big.  It will be the first crack in the dike.  And hopefully it will be the beginning of the end of leftist tyranny.

What fighting the Leftists means is working against their interests in any and every way we can think of.  Because that is the surest way to further your own interests and the quickest way to gaining freedom for all of us.  Tens of millions of Americans have awakened in the last five years to the realization that the system has been rigged against us all along.  This last election has proven that voting is no longer an option for fixing the system.  We are going to have to forget about compromising with our enemies and we can’t assume that the Constitution is going to protect our rights.  We are going to have to take what we want and only strong leaders are going to be able to help us do that.  All of the weak-willed Republicans who are only interested in maintaining their perks and their place on the government gravy train have to go.  If they aren’t signed up to change the system then they are part of the problem.  Fighting means getting involved in the government and maybe even running for office if you have the skills.  But at the very least you are going to have to get involved in process if you really want anything to change.

And finally, what do I think are the odds that one day it will come down to real fighting?  Based on what I’ve seen of Antifa and BLM I don’t doubt that in blue cities and states the creepy thugs that flock to our enemies will stage riots and attack innocent people.  But you notice that they don’t go outside of blue areas.  That’s because in red areas they’d be shot dead and the local sheriff will say it was justified.  But it could come down to federal law enforcement or even troops being sent into a state to strong arm the state government into complying with some federal law that people hate.  That would be the test of how committed the locals are.  Do I think there could be a shooting war?  Yeah, I do.  I hope I’ll never see it but I’m not dishonest enough to make believe it couldn’t happen.  After that just about anything is possible.  If the resistance is from private citizens then it will be pretty difficult for the feds to investigate it without the cooperation of the locals.  And I can’t see the state law enforcement going out of their way to help the invaders.

But this is stuff way down the road.  First, we have to elect officials who actually believe the same things we do.  Then we have to hold their feet to the fire and force them to take the stands we want.  After that we’ll have something to actually fight about.

Political Realities of America – Part 1

After what we’ve seen on display during the last four years it seems clear to me that the people in charge of the Democrat party have a stranglehold on almost all the levers of power that exist at the national level in the United States.  And more than that, they control the majority of the power at the state and local level.

It’s probably easier to name the ones they don’t control.  The Republicans control the legislatures and state houses of about half the states and have a hair thin majority in the US Senate.  That’s it.  Our side has almost none of the major media companies, corporations, universities, non-profits, professional societies, unions, banks, financial institutions, publishers or any of the departments of the bureaucracy that we call the Deep State.  Even the Supreme Court that we supposedly have appointed by a six to three margin heaps defeat after defeat on us.  We don’t even control the capital cities of the states that we do hold.  Basically, every city large enough to have a welfare population is controlled by the Democrats.

This is not a new situation.  This has been the status quo for as long as there has been a United States.  The descendants of the New England Puritans have been expanding and consolidating their control over the areas that they’ve colonized since they got here in the seventeenth century.  They control the Northeast, the Great Lakes region, The Pacific Coast and they’ve been expanding off of those areas continuously.  Now they’ve reached down to Virginia in the east and the wretched Californians that ruined their own state are destroying Colorado, Arizona, Nevada and soon enough, the rest of the Mountain West.

They’ve got a very effective model.  It has nothing to do with freedom, equality or anything like that.  It’s strictly a matter of gaining control by power politics.  They’ll paper it over by claiming that they are fighting the evil racists or whatever bogeyman they’ve concocted to bamboozle the simple-minded poor people they pay off for votes.  But if buying votes isn’t enough, they have perfected stealing elections by fabricating votes in urban districts.

All of this has been on open display since Election Day.  Unprecedented vote totals were unleashed in the early hours of November 4th as soon as it became clear that President Trump was going to win in Pennsylvania, Georgia and Wisconsin.  Not even a fig leaf was maintained that a fair election was going on.  The Republican poll watchers were forced out and the trucks backed up to the buildings and poured in the bogus ballots by the hundreds of thousands.

At this point in the process it’s entirely possible that the Supreme Court will be so ashamed of allowing a presidential election be stolen in plain view that they will do something to stop it.  I’d say it’s fifty-fifty.  John Roberts is a worthless, spineless traitor so if we win it will be at best a 5-4 vote.  But even if the President prevails and we get a four-year reprieve it is still necessary to look realistically at the way this country works and plan accordingly.  And if the Supreme Court stabs us in the back again then we have two months to decide how we will deal with the facts on the ground.

I think we have three choices.  Fold, flee or fight.  Surrender to the hive, leave the areas under their control, or fight them.

And I’m guessing it’s not completely clear to anyone which of these choices is best.

So, let’s look first at Option 1, Fold.  Think about it.  You know plenty of people who don’t believe in the leftist madness but who have responsible positions in the corporate and government circles who have to spout the party line and burn incense to Baal.  Their kids go to Yale and Columbia and they write their memos that pledge allegiance to diversity and inclusion and make sure they have a man in a dress working for them in the HR department.  Sure, they have to choke back the cognitive dissonance when they say the things that are expected of them.  But they get paid very well to do it.  They get all the perks that go along with membership in the lower ranks of the managerial elite.  They live in safe neighborhoods; their kids go to the best schools and all the right doors get opened to them in all avenues of life.  They belong to the right clubs and organizations.  They vacation on Martha’s Vineyard or the Hamptons and they get invited to all the best parties and gatherings.

I even know people who say they can keep up this charade while still protecting their kids from the madness that goes along with the propaganda and proselytizing that the sexual deviants that run our public schools practice.  Maybe they can.  Maybe it’s possible to live inside the hive in complete disguise and maintain a normal life.  If it is then my hat’s off to these people.  I don’t seem to be able to do it.  Listening to the proclamations from the Ministries of Peace, Truth and Love are just too much for my little brain to ignore.  But I’m not everyone.  So, there are probably a bunch of people who will take the blue pill and get on with their lives inside the hive.

How about Option 2, Flee.  Let’s define that a little bit.  It could mean moving from a blue city to the surrounding rural areas of a red state.  Or it could be moving from a blue state to a red state.  Or it could mean leaving the country.  All of these are calculations that a man has to make.  Leaving a city is the easiest choice.  It’s a thing you’d do even if the city wasn’t a political prison.  Lots of folks have always left cities in order to take advantage of the lower costs and property values associated with getting out of the crowded and expensive cities.  But I can personally attest to the unsatisfying result of moving from a blue city to a blue state suburb.  It will lessen your chances of suffering violent crime and give your kids half decent schools but that’s about it.  Now these first two choices end up with someone living in a red state.  That is something.  And if the state is deep red then you will notice a big change.  Living in a place where you’re still allowed to say what you really think and surrounded by mostly normal people is like a dream come true for a deplorable living in a blue state.  And in such a place the schools will be much less destructive of normal ideas about the world.  But even in red states you’re going to deal with the realities of living in America.  Affirmative action and all the other programs that take away the freedom of association and choice that we’re supposed to enjoy is still the law of the land.  So, the move isn’t a cure for the American condition just a less serious case.  And as the leftists tighten the screws through the courts and their corporate allies it will be less and less of an improvement.  Now the only way to completely escape the leftists is to leave the country.  But that brings up a separate predicament.  Where exactly is it better than here?  Moving to Canada or Australia or Europe is at best a mixed situation.  None of those places have even the pretense of a bill of rights.  And all of them are run by elites that have approximately the same program as our masters here.  There may be some places that would be less oppressive like some of the eastern European countries but think of the dislocation you and your family would experience being a stranger in a strange land.  But I know many people who are thinking of exactly this trade-off.

And now we come to Option 3, Fight.  But that’s a long story and I’ll keep that for Part 2.  But I will say that the first two option are pretty awful for someone who believes in the ideals that America is supposed to represent.  You could see why staying and fighting would be the option you would want to take.  We’ll talk about that next.

Conservative Treehouse Will Be De-Platformed by Word Press

I have great sympathy for these guys as they go through the massive headache of switching platforms.  Sundance has a nice site that links to lots of good stuff.

The Treehouse is Deplatformed…

He’s got a large readership and that was bound to make him a target for the Leftists who want to silence all dissent.  I guess we all really are dissidents now.  Our heresy is we don’t want to be slaves.

14NOV2020 – OCF Update

Pardon the dearth of posts in the last few days.  Like everyone else I have been pondering on the reality and circumstances of our troubled land.  I was contemplating waiting on the Supreme Court’s decisions on the election fraud appeals being submitted for their decisions.  But I think I will write a essay on the path forward without regard to whether the Supreme Court does its job or not.  I no longer think that further proof is needed to convince the reasonable men among the American people that there is no longer one law that applies to all Americans.  And what we have to decide is what we want to do about that.  That’s what I will be working on.

I also have some more movie reviews.  I have a book review of Jim Butcher’s latest addition to his Dresden Files’ series, “Peace Talks.”  I don’t think I have done reviews of this series before so maybe this will require a review of the series overall as a start.  And as the holidays near I think music and movie reviews for holiday themed works will be forthcoming.

I have been very negligent on the photography front.  I’m still posting photos of the day from back in the summer.  That is because photo work takes a bunch of time to prep.  I keep promising to put together some larger posts on technique and various subjects but I’ve been unable based on time.  I have promised myself I’ll have to do better.  And I will.

And as promised I’ll get guest contributors busy on some things outside of my areas of expertise.

So once again apologies for the drought but things will improve.
