Well, this is the finale of the great mantis experiment. Yesterday Camera Girl used her hawk-eye super vision to find an adult praying mantis in the jungle-like weeds of her vegetable garden. In fact, the mantis was on one of her Japanese eggplant plants. Princess Sack-of-Potatoes will know that praying mantises really do exist although unfortunately they do not talk in an English-accented throaty whisper as they do in an Eric Carle picture book video. But they are indeed monsters that inhabit the tiny world of our garden. And that’s a fun thing for a little child to discover.

02SEP2021 – Small Critter Photos
I’m saving the mantis photos for my series finale of the mantis project. But here are the rest of the critters Camera Girl found for me today.
Monarch caterpillars
Grasshopper
Spotted Salamander
Four Toed Salamander
Kudos to Camera Girl for her excellent wildlife spotting skills. No reward mind you, but virtue is its own reward.
02SEP2021 – OCF Update
Today was a strange mixture of things. Camera Girl’s car needed a new gas tank and heat shield so I had to give her a lift to pick it up (and pay for it!). But to pay me back she used her hawk-like eyesight to find a full-grown praying mantis in her gardern and a spotted salamander in the pool. After saving him and another one I did a photo shoot of the salamanders and the mantis today.
Later on my trusty wilderness guide spotted a rodent of unusual size (RUS) swimming around in the pond. I started yelling, “Where, where?” Which panicked it and I could see a rather large creature crashing through the undergrowth on the opposite side of the pond. We both agreed it’s probably a beaver sizing up the pond for a brand new dam. Long time readers will remember we had one of the varmints living in the pond a few years back. He disappeared under what I consider suspicious circumstances. We’ll see if history repeats itself.
I plan to spend some time with the photos I took today and put up a post on them.
I noticed that the Supreme court managed to override John Roberts’ veto to allow Texas to pass a restrictive abortion law. This is sure to rile up the Dems. They may eliminate the filibuster and pack the Supreme Court in retaliation. Should make for maximum theater. Good. Let her rip. Let’s bust the thing up as soon as possible. Why pretend there are laws that the Dems would obey.
I see Biden’s underwater job approval rating has finally been allowed to show. They’ve got the approval/disapproval as 45.4 / 49.4. I think the real numbers are more like 40 / 60 but at least they’re reporting something close to real. Well that’s what happens when you run away from a war zone and leave people behind.
Stay tuned. It’s been active lately. More will follow.
Remnants of Ida Submerge NYC Subways in Ocean of Filth
I was looking at the videos and photos of the flooding from Ida in New York City. And I thought, there’s something fitting about this. It looks like a biblical flood is being used to wipe out out the monstrous evil and stupidity of the woke New York that Bill de Blasio has presided over. Back during the Giuliani administration or even Bloomberg’s politically correct but mostly competent reign the City’s emergency services would have manned the pumps and kept the subways and roads from becoming death traps. But in de Blasio’s New York it’s a reasonable bet that CHUD (cannibalistic humanoid underground dwellers) will soon be in complete control of the subway system. And I have no doubt that New Yorkers will notice an increase in subway efficiency once these troglodytic beings take over from the much less intelligent NYC subway workers.
Seriously, I think it’s for the better that New York becomes a medieval remnant as soon as possible. Once the plagues and the cannibalism recede it will become a much more sustainable and environmentally friendly place. I just hope the CHUD catch and eat de Blasio before he has a chance to leave. He really should get to enjoy the world he’s created.

My Favorite People Are Americans
I have known people from around the world. In my life I have met refugees from China, Russia, Vietnam, Lebanon, Czechoslovakia, Poland, Ukraine and Turkey. And many of them were interesting, intelligent and friendly human beings. But by leaps and bounds my favorite people are Americans. Not because they are so much smarter or nicer but because I am an American. We are members of the same club. We wear the same club pin. We know the secret handshake. We pay dues to the same organization and we grew up together.
That doesn’t mean there aren’t Americans who stink. Even ones who aren’t traitors, ones who truly belong to our side of the fence can be stupid or evil or both. Every family has its black sheep. But family is still family. The only ones I disown are the ones who’ve disowned me. The white guilt, white privilege, equity/diversity/inclusion, unconscious bias crowd. Those I disown. They are not Americans. They are former Americans who have betrayed their country to a global conspiracy against America.
But real Americans are some of the nicest, kindest, most competent people on the face of the Earth. Houston, Texas. Sacramento, California. Grand Rapids, Michigan. Lawrence, Kansas. Tomahawk, Wisconsin. Toledo, Ohio. Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. Dalton, Georgia. Springfield, Missouri. I’ve been to all these places for work. I was there to get some project completed, either designing process equipment with a manufacturer or on site at a customer’s plant troubleshooting a problem. And in every one of these places, I met people who surprised me by their friendliness.
So what’s my point? Just this. If I could go to all of these random places in this enormous country and meet good people, people who would see past my strange northeastern accent and brusque manner, and even when in an adversarial position impress me with their decency and good nature, then I find it extremely hard to believe that this is an evil place where people deserve to be punished by their own government and deprived of their rights because they were born white.
In fact, I refuse to believe it. These are my people. They believe what I believe. They love what I love. Their people came here to flourish as free men. They don’t have to leave. They don’t have to disappear. We will have re-organize. We will need to work around the cancer that is afflicting us. Hopefully someday we’ll be able to surgically remove it. But until then we’ll need to redirect resources to organizations and efforts that help us. And until some true organization begins to happen, we’ll have to do this resource management at the micro level. We have to finance our families and our communities to support the people and activities that represent us.
And before you support anyone or anything test it to see if it supports the people and organizations that hate us. See what stands behind it. If a charity flies the rainbow flag or displays the BLM symbol, walk away. Anyone who embraces any anti-white talking points, reject. Any activity that disparages the American flag or substitutes some other flag or anthem, abandon. Now that the enemies of America have become so open in their hatred it’s much easier to instruct your children and grandchildren in who their enemies are. We need to raise awareness of who are our enemies and who are our friends.
We are a great and good people. We deserve to flourish and we will. All we have to do is get re-organized.
