This is hilarious.  They want the armed forces to switch 100% electric vehicles.  I can just see an M1 tank with a 100 mile electric charging cable running behind it.  It’s like a Babylon Bee satire come to life.

A Former Fox Insider Speculates on Tucker Upending Fox’s Position

Ken LaCorte has an excellent blog that talks about right-wing stuff in an intelligent way.  Here he speculates on Tucker teaming up with Newsmax or some other smaller right-wing station and pulling with him his fans.

“Could Tucker join forces with some of his former Fox News colleagues and create a new conservative media powerhouse? With the combined star power of figures like Bill O’Reilly, Megyn Kelly, Glenn Beck, and Greta Van Susteren, a rival network could pose a serious challenge to Fox News’ dominance in the conservative media sphere.”

I think the answer is yes.  My question is Newsmax the right vehicle.  I’m wondering if someone like Elon Musk could be a better vehicle.  And instead of the listed journalists I think people like Taibbi and Greenwald provide more journalistic clout.  But we’ll see.

Problem is, the ones who say that other places are worse are pretty much right. Singapore is wealthy but they’ll cane you for chewing gum. Australia, NZ, Canada and the UK are all serfs to their mega-parliament. Disarmed, cowed

In Scotland it is an arrestable offense if you walk too closely behind another at night. In England, carrying a Gerber or Leatherman multitool is fairly serious arrestable offense. In the UK you can be arrested, held without council, interrogated, have your kids dragged off to social services, then released without charge (in other words, political terrorism) for owning or distributing pamphlets supporting a legal political party, UKIP. And they’ll do it a couple times a month until you are sufficiently subdued.

Look at what Trudeau has been up to the past couple of years. Japan and South Korea are xenophobic. Mexico is now a failed narcostate. Argentina is normally ok but they have coups and other issues on a regular basis. The entire continent of Africa is screwed. Western Europe is woke as hell.

Eastern Europe is attractive but too close to Russia who will not be satisfied with Ukraine. The Caribbean is as rife with crime as when the pirates ran the place. Ecuador isn’t bad if you can handle the climate and altitude. Costa Rica is okay but its crime is rising. Most of the rest of South and Central America is second world.

Brazil is becoming quite crazy. Great beaches and attractive women, though, but I doubt Camera Girl is going to go for that. Israel is the only sane place in the Middle East but of course they are embattled. If I had to move I believe I’d choose either Argentina or Romania/Czech Republic despite their issues

Then again, you and me both have cherished family in the States. I would not want to remove myself from their proximity. My last act of love may be to die defending them if things go bat-crap here. If so, I will sing my death song and die like a warrior going home.

We’re Better Than That

Some people I talk to think I must be kidding when I talk about leaving the United States.  They say, “You’re kidding yourself if you think you can find a better place to live.”  Or, “America may have its problems but everywhere else is worse.”  Or, “All you’ll accomplish is to make yourself poorer.”

And maybe they’re right.  I have barely begun doing my analysis of the best place on Earth to live.  But I think it’s important to understand the reason why I feel that Present Day America is not only quantitatively worse than Old America but also qualitatively worse.  And it’s hard to measure qualitative differences.  I mean what is the value of freedom of speech?  How much would you pay for freedom of association.  These things can’t be easily equated to additional dollars on your paycheck.  But they’re real.  In fact, freedom was the original reason that many of the colonists came in the 17th and 18th centuries.  They came to escape the religious persecutions in Germany and England.

And now here we are three or four hundred years later and the state has decided to take back those freedoms.  You can’t say or believe or even think what you want anymore.  Those decisions are being made for you.  And now it’s even worse.  You can’t even raise a family anymore.  There’s a village doing that for you, complete with CRT and transgender affirmation protocols to mold your offspring into something you can’t even recognize as your own flesh and blood.

There’s a lot at stake.  Just how much affluence are you willing to lose to be free?  I think the answer should be quite a lot.  After all the green new dealers already are looking to take away gasoline and replace it with windmills.  And take away eggs and milk and meat and replace it with meal worms and cricket paste.  So, who’s to say whether places in the “second world” might not be at least an even swap for the subhuman, Untermensch, bugman, great reset future that Davos has planned for us.  But we should consider it.  Here’s why.

We’re better than that.  Simply put, we’re mostly very decent people who are being treated like dirt.  The very government that is supposed to be looking out for our interests is systematically subjecting us to psychological attack to destroy our ability to decide our own future and ultimately to destroy our will to live.  And it’s working.  Birth rates are plummeting.  Suicides and drug overdoses are skyrocketing.  Mental illness and depression are endemic.  They’re killing us.

If there is a place where this death cult isn’t in charge, then even if you were living on the cutting-edge of poverty, it might still be a very good trade off.  So that’s why figuring out where the best place to live isn’t as easy as comparing GDP and crime statistics.  Maybe there is a freedom index out there that you can evaluate to see where you’ll have the ability to say what you want and be with the people you like.  Then you’ll have to figure out how much that’s worth.  Personally, I think it’s worth a whole heck of a lot.

I’ll confess that living in a rich country is very comfortable if you’ve managed to find a good job and even put away a few bucks.  But I’ll tell you the truth.  Seeing the place America has turned into and knowing what it will do to my grandkids and their kids sickens me and makes me want to find a better place.

We’re better than this.  We deserve better than this.  We deserve to be treated as the decent human beings we are.  We followed the rules and paid our taxes and tolerated all sorts of strange and unhealthy things because we wanted to be “fair.”  And in return we’ve been victimized and demonized and made to feel like strangers in our own home.  And now we’ve been disinherited.  They’ve taken away our history and turned our heroes into monsters.  They’re even re-writing our books.

Well, it’s enough.  Maybe we can reclaim some of the Red States and live free lives there.  But if not then it’s worth looking around.  We’re good people.  We’re very desirable stock for a place that wants to grow and prosper.  We’re smart and hard-working (well not me, but most of us).  If they don’t need us here, we should make an honest effort to find someplace where they do.  If this is no longer the land of the free let’s find out if it’s moved someplace else.

Rebellion; Phase 2

2016 seems like yesterday but it’s seven years ago.  And all of the excitement and hope that Donald Trump’s storming of the White House engendered was mostly been beaten out of us by 2020.  We’ve seen the managerial state marshal all its resources; governmental, cultural, financial and informational to crush the rebellion and its adherents.  They’ve been especially cruel to anyone who publicly defied them or attempted to make them look foolish.  Lawfare has been put to very powerful use sending their enemies to prison either by sentence of a kangaroo court or just by perpetual incarceration in advance of a perpetually delayed trial.

Without a doubt the Left won Phase 1 of the Rebellion hands down.  Except for a few outposts like Florida, the country is solidly under the control of the progressives and their agenda is on full display.  There are men in sundresses everywhere you look including heading up government agencies and even in the armed forces.  And the medical profession and the pharmaceutical companies have conspired with sexual deviants in grammar schools to proselytize small children into thinking they have been assigned the wrong sex at birth and need to be mutilated to simulate “curing” this mistake of nature.

The borders have been dissolved and tens of millions of illegal aliens have flooded the country.  The various organs of the progressive establishment have criminalized being “white” and punish this crime by denying employment and also by allowing street thugs to attack white people with impunity, while at the same time prosecuting any white people who attempt self-defense.

The economy is starting to collapse under the combined influence of the COVID lockdowns, the green energy sabotage program and the ridiculous deficit spending of the federal government.  And finally, now Biden is picking fights with Russia and China with the prospect of triggering a nuclear war seen as a feature and not a bug of the program.

So, yeah, the revolution is not going well.

But in a sense there has been progress.  Even the stupidest, most uninformed individuals knows deep down that we no longer live in the old United States where the people who believe in American identity are a silent majority who can throw out the bums when things get out of balance.  I think it’s clear that there won’t be a Reagan revolution anytime soon.  It’s basically the majority of white men with a smattering of women and minorities who believe in the old America of self-sufficiency and normal cultural beliefs versus most women and most minorities who want to be wards of the state and will go along with the woke agenda because they have some preferential standing in its hierarchy.

We have seen a couple of elections and the Left have fixed things pretty solidly.  It would take a cataclysm of biblical proportions to change the outcome.  So that defines Phase 2.  We acknowledge that we are living under the occupation and we’re outvoted on a national level.  It remains to us to begin exploring the boundaries within which we live.  So far, we’ve seen that some states have been able to pursue policies that push back against the federal policies and actions that work to impose leftist ideology and outcomes in non-leftist jurisdictions.  Florida is a prime example of this but even purple states like Virginia have show impulses to push back against things like leftist propaganda programs in their kids’ schools.

On a personal level people in red and blue areas of the country are exploring the choices and activities they can embrace to minimize the leftist impact on their own lives.  Home schooling their children and encouraging their sons to choose trades instead of corporate employment are a couple of ways this is going on.  Accentuating family and community is another way this happens.  Basically, by limiting how much impact the federal programs have on your children you can minimize the damage they do.

Another thing that many people are doing is moving out of blue states and cities.  And this is probably the most powerful action that can be taken at this time.  Moving from a blue city to a rural red state area is the biggest bang for the buck that any American can get.  In terms of personal safety, nothing else even comes close.

So, Phase 2 is coming to terms with reality.  We’re occupied and will be for the foreseeable future.  We’re basically trying to work around the occupation.  What is yet to be seen is exactly how bad it will get.  So far some of the states have tweaked the feds.  For instance, Texas has been transferring illegal aliens by bus to places like New York City and Washington D.C.  And so far, there has been no attempt to thwart this reaction.  But there’s no guarantee this will continue.  So, Phase 2 goes on until we see whether local control can compensate for the federal government’s interference in the lives of Red State Americans.

Once that answer is arrived at, we reach Phase 3.  But that’s several different choices depending on how Phase 2 ends.   I’ll leave that for another day.

Don Lemon Squeezed Out at CNN

Don, we hardly knew ye.  Ah, who am I kidding, there was nothing to know.  Finally CNN got around to firing that useless mound of stupidity, Don Lemon.

Don lashed out at the network for ending his broadcasting reign of error:

“After 17 years at CNN I would have though that someone in management would have had the decency to tell me directly. At no time was I ever given any indication that I would not be able to continue to do the work I have loved at the network,” Lemon wrote. “It is clear that there are some larger issues at play.”

But CNN said they had offered to meet with him to explain to him just how awful an employee he was.

“Don Lemon’s statement about this morning’s events is inaccurate,” its communications team wrote in a statement. “He was offered an opportunity to meet with management but instead released a statement on Twitter.”

I attempted to interview friends of Lemon but discovered that none existed.  He will be missed by the cleaning lady who admitted that his office garbage pail was usually pretty clean.

Seriously, I guess someone will be sad about this.  Probably whoever is next in line over there to be fired.  Hopefully he’ll be scooped up by some other media outlet like Buzzfeed News.  Oh wait.

What is surprising to me is that CNN was able to justify firing a gay black man from a woke corporation based on his antagonizing white women employees.  That’s bold.  It challenges the whole intersectionality hierarchy.  Normally a gay black man can only be trumped in the hierarchy by a black transwoman or two latinx gender fluid females who suffer from lactose intolerance.  But who knows?  We’re living in strange times where you can’t depend on anything anymore.  Well anyway I’ll miss The Lemon.  His like will never be seen again.  I hope.
