Being Managed by the Managerial State

One of the hallmarks of the current system we live under is that it is assumed that people cannot manage their own lives anymore without the guidance (control) of experts in government and industry.  The computerized systems we must negotiate to satisfy the requirements of daily life are arcane to the point of impenetrability.  And they’re constantly patched and endlessly updated.  At every turn we need to employ the “help” of experts and agents of the government and quasi-official agencies or just corporate customer service.  Some of these in the corporate ranks are, to be fair, quite good.  You might buy a phone or a service contract from a vendor and they might do excellent work providing customer service for their products or services.

But for every good example there are a dozen where customer service is provided by someone in Mumbai with English language skills that would test the patience of Job.  And sometimes the results of consulting these representatives are worse than useless.  Rather than alleviate some initial problem they sink you deeper in a morass of problems.  And going through these sometimes hours-long ordeals saps your energy and raises your stress levels through the roof.

And this is just trying to get the service on a device working.  Imagine what it’s like when the IRS gets its claws into you.  Then we’re talking about terror.  And taking it all the way to infinity, imagine dealing with the FBI when they take a battering ram to your front door at 3 a.m. prior to dragging you off to the gulag.  I guess you could describe the whole system as assault by expert.  We are no longer allowed to live our lives in a simple reasonable way.  We have each become just a cog in the machine.  And every cog must be cut into the precise size and shape needed to conform to the requirements of the machine.

It might be bearable if it wasn’t apparent that the stress, embarrassment and pain inflicted in the machining of the cogs is obviously a feature of the process and not a bug.  Just as in the Soviet system, control is maintained through fear and confusion.  Orwell described this system in his novel “1984” and Solzhenitsyn confirmed its reality and provided details in his memoir “Gulag Archipelago.”

So, what’s my point?  Well, just this.  Winning elections is not going to gain back the country we had.  Whoever is president is going to have to demolish the Deep State.  And that means eliminating thousands and thousands of bureaucrats whose jobs are meant to bludgeon us into submission, literally cause death by a thousand paper cuts.

I’ve read that eliminating those bureaucrats can’t be done.  That all those bureaucrats’ jobs are protected by federal law.  To that I say, “So what?”  Surely the President can transfer all of these torturers into completely harmless parts of their departments.  If need be, he can create sections where the offending individuals can be employed stuffing envelopes with letters that won’t be mailed.  He can keep them doing that until they’re forced into retirement by extreme old age.

But by whatever means he comes up with to do it, that’s what must be done.  All those FBI agents who currently spend their days enticing disgruntled Americans into joining phony militias with phony insurrections can be reassigned to a division where all their time is spent ticketing double parked limousines outside the State Department.  All of the IRS agents can be repurposed as latrine inspectors for the National Parks Service.  All of the bureaucrats currently hassling utilities companies about the carbon dioxide emissions of their combustion plants can be safely transferred to Denali National Park in Alaska where they can monitor the temperature of the grizzly bears with a rectal thermometer.  Or they can try to at least once.

All kidding aside.  Whoever wants to save this country will have to dismantle wide swaths of the managerial state just to start regaining control of the federal government.  There’s no other way.  Think about that Mr. Trump and anyone else who thinks he wants the job.  And then think about how you can get it done.

A Clear Headed Analysis of Zelensky’s Mistake

Ukrain’e President Zelensky is adored by the West.  Reporters and politicians practically sing his praises and vow to do whatever is needed to win his war for him.  But the realities of how he got into the truly awful predicament he’s in is not a story of statesmanship but one of terrible naivete.  Being a tv comedian may not be the background needed to navigate the space between nuclear superpowers.

I recommend this article to get a better understanding how Mr. Zelensky blundered his way into a disastrous war.

It comes down to a puppet for the American color revolution forces doing what he was told.  He may live to regret it if he is lucky.

How Dangerous Are the COVID Vaccines?

I watched Robert Malone’s interview with Tucker Carlson.  Toward the end of the video Malone discusses the toxicity of the spike protein and how its effect in an injected form such as the vaccine can have extreme consequences.  And then he mentions the Department of Defense’s (DoD) adverse effects data on the vaccines and mentioned that frequencies of adverse effects like cancer and myocarditis have shown, in some cases, a ten-fold increase.  Now, the DoD is claiming that somehow the previous years’ data is somehow at fault and actually the tenfold increase is really the normal baseline.  Malone indicates in his discussion that this is most probably a lie.  Watching this has further increased my fears for the younger members of my family who have been vaccinated.  For older folks such as myself the impact of the mRNA technology on my physiology is troubling but since I don’t expect to live another sixty or seventy years (thankfully) I am not as at risk as adolescents and young adults.  For them this is truly frightening news.  And the idea that they will continue to get “boosters” sounds like insanity.

The problem that the Biden administration will continue to shield the FDA and the vaccine manufacturers from the public learning of the safety problems with these vaccines is maddening.  The FDA’s primary function is to protect the public from dangerous medicines.  The true facts of the safety record of these vaccines must be revealed to allow Americans to gage whether their government is protecting them or not.  I remember last year several of the most senior FDA officials who oversaw vaccine testing resigned.  There was a reason for that.  When the Senate and House revert to Republican control, they must investigate these things.  If it’s as bad as it sounds, they will need to impeach Biden and his cronies and then force the FDA and the Justice Department to prosecute anyone who knew about these safety problems.

I realize that all this sounds like a lunatic conspiracy theory.  I’ve worked in the pharmaceutical industry for over two decades and I know that adverse effects are stringently recorded and analyzed for any new drug before allowing it to be used by the public.  If side effects have been observed for these drugs in any where near the frequency and severity that Malone indicates, these vaccines need to be banned for use by young people and maybe everyone else too.  There are treatments for COVID that can reduce the risk of serious illness even for the old and seriously ill.  Forcing the population to take a dangerous medicine that has very limited efficacy is criminally negligent.

If it turns out that people knew these things for months or even a year then jail time should be the minimum punishment.  I could imagine that the death penalty would be a reasonable sentence for someone who unleashed a potentially fatal vaccine on hundreds of millions of people.

How the hell did we ever get to this place?  When the American people can no longer believe its own government on something as fundamental as drug safety and the Media is complicit with that government in hiding the truth from us it quickly starts to sound like we’ve reached the levels of dishonesty and just plain evil that existed in the Soviet Union and its satellites.  I won’t be surprised when Biden and Harris flee the country in a while.  The question is where can they hide if this turns out as badly as it seems to be.

Aldous Huxley Precisely Foretold the Deep State 64 Years Ago

Read this:

“In 1958, Aldous Huxley foresaw a congestion of power able to shape and defy popular will. “Under the relentless thrust of accelerating over-population and increasing over-organization, and by means of ever more effective methods of mind-manipulation, the democracies will change their nature,” he predicted. “The quaint old forms—elections, parliaments, Supreme Courts and all the rest—will remain. The underlying substance will be a new kind of non-violent totalitarianism.”

The changes, according to the author of Brave New World, would be almost imperceptible. “All the traditional names, all the hallowed slogans will remain exactly what they were in the good old days. Democracy and freedom will be the theme of every broadcast and editorial,” he continued. “Meanwhile the ruling oligarchy and its highly trained elite of soldiers, policemen, thought-manufacturers and mind-manipulators will quietly run the show as they see fit.””

How’s that for hitting the bulls-eye from more than half a century in the past.

The ZMan Has a Very good Post on the Hive We Now Live In

It’s actually two posts.  One on his site and one over at Taki’s.  They both describe the situation we find ourselves in where the bureaucrats now own us.  They tell us what to do and what to think.  These two articles are bang on the nose.  What they can’t say is how we escape from our fate.  Well, except to rise up against it, which no one can say out loud.  Highly recommended.

WSJ Article Lambasts the FBI and Calls for Their Abolition

One of the top journalists at the Wall Street Journal, Holman W. Jenkins, Jr., says the FBI should be shut down.  Yeah, well, who doesn’t know that?  The question is who could get it done?  He covers the bases pretty well but at this point who doesn’t know all of this?  And who is going to drain the swamp?  It’s been tried and the FBI came out on top.  Read it if you want to feel depressed.

Codevilla on Afghanistan

Unsurprisingly, Anthony Codevilla has a very long history in the US involvement in Afghanistan.  In this essay he walks through its beginning in 1979 and through the Russian War and bin Laden’s appearance as an amateur warrior and the aftermath of 9-11 and the tragicomedies of Iraq and Afghanistan occupations.  He identifies the mindset that shapes the terms of these occupations and the utterly useless outcomes they produce.

This Guy Thinks the Afghan Rout Will Be the Deep State’s Undoing

Interesting read.  Will it really spell the doom of our Cloud Elite?  It would be nice but I’m not sure I see it that way.  It’s definitely a blow to Joe Biden’s credibility.  It’s an object lesson to Iran, China, North Korea and Russia that the people in charge have grown feckless.  Maybe it’s a sign to us that our enemies are a lot stupider than we thought they were.

What Afghanistan told me was that we can’t trust any of the suits in Washington.  Neither the Democrats nor the Republicans have our interests at heart.  They’re globalists and they believe in things that we abhor.  My take away is we need new leaders.  And we’d better be real careful choosing them.  We can’t afford to make these mistakes again.  They’ve already almost bled us dry.

Curtis Yarvin Muses on the Lessons of Afghanistan, But Not the Way You Think

Yarvin isn’t thinking about the strategy that brought us to Afghanistan and kept us there for twenty years.  He’s thinking of what it means to have a Deep State that would prefer to stay there forever because they want to endlessly expand their influence and scope to include the whole world.  Yarvin’s take on what could be done about this boils down to the American people providing the President and his party with a mandate to take a wrecking ball to the executive branch and reconstitute it at a much, much smaller scope.

And who disagrees with that on our side?  But how exactly do we get a majority of honest men in the Congress?  It seems impossible.  I think the only way it happens is if a President declares a state of emergency and using extralegal action fires the whole executive branch and uses the military to keep the government functioning while he rebuilt the government on a sane basis.

It’s nice to talk about draining the swamp but to do it would require an army and a general without fear.  Mr. Yarvin needs to provide the plan for how to do something that we all agree needs to be done.

What Would It Look Like If We Drained the Deep State Swamp?

After more than a decade of the FBI and the alphabet agencies routinely using illegal intel on Americans to control us, I wondered what it would be like to put a stop to it.  So, this is a thought experiment because, let’s face it, what we’re talking about is as theoretical as contemplating faster than light space travel.

First off, who could do it?  We saw Donald Trump successfully stopped in his attempts to even install a functioning attorney general.  Twice!  So, I guess the first question is would a president on his own be able to clean out the intelligence agencies?  Would he need supermajorities in the Congress and a friendly Supreme Court?

Actually, I don’t think he would.  What he would need is the military on his side.  Because I think the only thing that could bring these agencies to heel is the threat of military force.  If the FBI saw a brigade of US soldiers backed up by a tank or two, I think they’d stand down.

And that is what I’d suggest is the way to do it.  My guess at a plan is to announce to the country that I am demanding the resignation of the top three tiers of organization of the Justice Department, the FBI, the CIA, the NSA and the rest of the intel agencies and I would warn them that if they didn’t comply within a day, they would be escorted out by armed troops.

Then I would appoint some interim personnel to dig down and eliminate anyone who wouldn’t immediately cooperate with the new authority being established.  Following that I’d find any existing personnel who would be willing to provide information on the “Resistance.”  And I would quickly move onto prosecuting the people responsible for the heinous events of the last few years.

After that I’d say the priority would be to pull the teeth of the beast.  The Patriot Act needs to be declared unconstitutional and the intelligence apparatus needs to learn again that American citizens actually have the freedoms enumerated in the Bill of Rights including the ones having to do with unlawful search.

By the way, I’m fully aware that the people who run these agencies will us every means within their control to destroy the people attempting to bring them down.  Threats and leaks of embarrassing or criminal conduct are sure to be used.  I wouldn’t be surprised if assassination were to be used.  After all the CIA specializes in that sort of thing.

What kind of a man would have the wherewithal to implement such an action?  First of all, he would need a team.  Whoever is selected to be the attorney general must be willing to stand up against the threats and coercion that will be thrown at him.  It’s obvious that Trump’s first attorney general Jeff Sessions was cowed by pressure that was brought to bear against him.  My guess is that they had embarrassing or criminal evidence against him and used it to force him to give up control of the Justice Department to the office holders that Obama had in place.

He’ll also need IT resources to investigate the tangled and troubling data collection capabilities that the agencies and the tech companies have assembled.  That will be a monumental job.

And finally, it will require taking back control of the borders and identifying all the illegal aliens residing in the country.  These individuals are the real threat to our security.  If a terrorist threat appears that is where it will come from.  The FBI and CIA should be concentrating on non-citizens and using the high-tech gadgetry they possess to preventing the next Sept. 11 attack coming from foreign agents, not spying on innocent Americans whose only sin is not being Democrats.
