Antifa in the News, Finally

So last night I wrote about the crazies who are practicing to be the next Lee Harvey Oswald.

In a related vein, Antifa has been in the news a few times lately.  The first major headline a few months ago was that a group of Antifa who attacked ICE in Texas were successfully prosecuted and sentenced to serious prison time.

Then this week up in Minnesota about a dozen more were arrested for both obstruction of law enforcement but also threats of violence against officers.

So, what we’re seeing is the Trump administration’s decision to brand Antifa a domestic terrorism organization and prosecute its members as co-conspirators is bearing fruit.  If one member has a gun or a knife but the rest of the gang funnel victims his way, he’ll get the lion’s share of the sentence, but they all get to enjoy a part of the jail term.  Nice!

But the latest fun news item came from James O’Keefe.  You remember that intrepid undercover reporter from his hilarious expose on Anthony Wiener and his wiener.  But also, for the work he did exposing ACORN as an NGO scam.  But in his most interesting new work his organization managed to crack into a New Jersey Antifa group called NJ BURN.  They got access to the Signal chat group used by this Antifa cell and managed to identify a large number of the Antifa members.  They were a mix of the usual students and dirtbags but also professors, computer scientists and even politicians.

Well, that’s got to feel like a kick in the head for these guys.  When law enforcement and the general public know that you’ve been supporting Antifa and a whole year of your communications including information on tactics and resources have been exposed, that can’t be helpful for a terrorist organization.  And it’s also kind of embarrassing to get outsmarted by a tiny media company that doesn’t have the resources or scope of the FBI or the Justice Department.

Anyway, my takeaway is that these guys are going to start feeling a lot more heat than they used to and the less radical members with actual lives may decide that going to prison for a few years is more of a commitment than a computer programmer cares to invest into social justice.  But the real breakthrough has been identifying the NGOs that have been supporting the “activists” who wander from city to city acting as the shock troops for these operations.  These organizations pay the rent, food bills, gas, transportation, legal fees and medical costs for the protestors and probably various supplies that they use in their riots.

I hope that in the near future we’ll hear of additional prosecutions and eventually this should put a real damper on the anti-ICE movement and if done correctly might eventually depopulate Portland, Oregon.  But seriously, I once again have to give Trump high marks for working his Justice Department through the maze of left-wing allies that have protected Antifa up till now and prevented these disgusting people from being locked away where they belong, in prison.

Various Kinds of Pruning

Monday was a good day at work.  Progress was made and I’ve got a much better understanding of what we’re going to be up against in the next couple of weeks.  Sure, madness will break out now and then.  But it’s not just this fog of ignorance.  There’s the beginning of planning and a path forward.

And there’s the situation going on in the world.  Charlie Kirk’s murder is disgusting and the more details that come out the worse it shows the Left’s psychotic fringe to be.  These people aren’t merely insane.  They have ceased to be human.  The assassin was a “furry.”  The fact that his “partner” was trans wasn’t enough.  He also pretended to be an animal.  These people are so far beyond help that simple execution might be the kindest thing we could do for them.

Hopefully Kash Patel is up to the job he needs to do.  Proving conspiracy by all the other members of Robinson’s associates is the first step.  Then he must widen out the investigation to locate the entire Antifa network and trace back their money to the donors and NGO’s that fund them.  It would be nice if Obama gets caught up in that net.  But first things first.  Shut off the money and arrest the ringleaders who call the shots.  Without them and the money, the small fry psychos will wander off and starve on the streets.

I’ve heard Trump is pivoting from invading Chicago with ICE and the National Guard to going to Portland, Oregon instead.  Now that’s an interesting idea.  Portland probably has the highest per capita number of trans weirdos, Antifa thugs and homeless drug addicts of any city in the country.  It would be the perfect place to haul away tractor trailers full of degenerates and psychopaths.  But I hope they’ve planned this carefully to avoid injury among law enforcement and maximize the jail time meted out to the Antifa “community.”  I know they like throwing Molotov cocktails at law enforcement.  Intelligence will be needed.  But Portland is definitely in need of pruning.

I have a feeling I’ll be self-publishing my book.  I don’t think there are many traditional publishers who are brave enough to embrace my dystopian world of armed insurrection against the deep state.  It is pretty radical.  I’m still trying to learn the basics of book marketing; especially advertising on Amazon and elsewhere on the web.  But I have gotten the book out there in the real world now.  I have a friend reading it and I’m very interested in getting his feedback.  My intention is to decide one way or the other about self-publishing and then send out a bunch of copies of the manuscript to friends and associates and see what they think.  It’s pretty heady stuff to even have a small audience read your words.

The weather has been summer-like for the last few days and the forecast is for another couple of weeks of the same.  That should allow me to handle the winterizing chores easily and plan for next year’s spring.  Probably the highlight of the garden season was the thornless raspberries.  I took a chance that they were the kind that mature in one season.  I cut all the canes to the ground and added a bunch of fertilizer and they grew like crazy and spread and produced tons of fruit.  In fact, they’re not done yet.  Next year I’ll do the same (cut down and fertilize) and I expect them to spread to almost double where they are now.  We’ll have to give them away to strangers.  But I’ll eat a ton of them myself.  They’re delicious.

Well, that’s enough talk of pruning for Monday.

Joe Rogan Made Me Think

I know this is old news but I decided to watch this Joe Rogan podcast with Kash Patel that was taped I guess today and just listening at random almost, you hear that the people who were in charge under Obama and Biden were ruthless criminals who had no fear of being caught performing completely illegal operations against their political enemies.  Russia-gate is the supreme example but there is no end to how many crooked acts and operations they performed with complete impunity.

I think the stellar quote is that former FBI director Comey had a room where he stashed his worst documents and data.  When he left, he locked the room and removed all record of what was hidden in the room and from 2017 till 2025 no one outside of Comey’s inner circle knew about it.  Patel says he’s mining those documents and data files for proof of Comey’s crimes.

So other than a reason to be outraged by all of these Deep State criminals what is the take away from all this?  Well, to me, it’s just a reminder that this is government.  Corruption and abuse of power is what happens as soon as people get a taste of power and the money that comes with it.  And this will happen with Republicans in power almost as egregiously as when the Democrats are running things.  This is human nature.

So, from my point of view, we have to look at the present Trump agenda as an extreme anomaly.  Maybe it won’t happen again for a hundred years or maybe never again.  And that is why it must be embraced and ridden as far as it can possibly go.  When it’s time for Trump’s term to end we should select the man who promises to do the most damage to the existing system.  Whatever damage Kash Patel does to the FBI should be considered only a good start.  What is really needed are legislative mandates to eliminate the unconstitutional activities that the 9/11 attacks enabled.  The Patriot Act and the FISA Courts need to be eliminated.  Those instruments strip away our constitutional protections and render the FBI and the other intel agencies the equivalent of the Stasi or the KGB.

I don’t know if it’s Trump’s intention to push for these legal changes.  His Justice Department should right now be in front of SCOTUS with a brief declaring these laws unconstitutional.  And this isn’t even radical.  Even at the time they were enacted it was believed that they were unconstitutional but because of the public’s fear after the 9/11 attacks it was believed that these laws should temporarily exist.  Well, it’s almost a quarter of a century down the road and these laws aren’t keeping Americans safe.  They’re being used to put us in prison.  They need to be struck down as unconstitutional.

People seem pretty sure that JD Vance is going to be Trump’s successor.  Well, maybe Trump will make that decision.  But I want to hear from Vance’s mouth that he is going to continue the process of tearing out the Deep State by the roots.  FBI. CIA, IRS, ATF; all of these agencies are pointed like weapons at the American people.  Destroying them now will not make us permanently safe.  But it will buy us a respite from the worst of the surveillance state that has been built by the people who run our government.

That’s what that Joe Rogan podcast made me think.

Cleaning Out the Augean Stables

When John Kennedy was assassinated in November, 1963, I was six years old.  I think I was in kindergarten at the time.  I remember the day because the nuns were all crying.  So, there hasn’t been a day in my life that I can remember that I wasn’t aware of Kennedy’s assassination.  And after the initial shock wore off my family members, it receded into my mind until his brother was assassinated a few years later.  At that point, talk about conspiracies finally became loud enough and I was old enough to have it impinge on my thoughts.

But I wasn’t receptive to these ideas.  I just believed what the official version stated.  Lone gunmen were responsible and that was all there was to it.

I was watching a podcast that had a JFK conspiracy advocate on.  After the initial obvious question (“Is there a smoking gun in the new document dump?”) was answered with a, “Whoa, whoa!  I’m on page 3 of 60,000,” the expert explained that what he’s looking for isn’t a smoking gun but rather a pattern of facts that steers the explanation toward one of the likelier causes.

And here, there is a lot of information that tells us more about what was going on between JFK and his intelligence agencies.  And none of it makes the CIA look less guilty.  The CIA had been following Oswald around for the four years before the assassination and they knew exactly where he lived and worked and how close he would be to Kennedy that day.  And there has never been a doubt that Jack Ruby was a mob-controlled stooge who did what he was told.  And there is no doubt that the CIA had connections to the mob and that the mob hated the Kennedys.  And JFK had been talking to some of the top staff in his administration about busting up the CIA for what happened in Cuba.  This “conspiracy theorist” doesn’t come right out and say that the CIA had Kennedy killed.  But that’s what he’s pointing to.

Somehow that still shocks me.  Now, looking at what happened to Trump last year in Pennsylvania should make it seem obvious that the Deep State is completely ruthless and unconcerned with consequences.  But as intellectually simple as that situation is to see, it’s still horrifying to me.  Sure, I’ve known for decades now that our government isn’t the white hat good guys that I thought they were when I was younger.  Iraq taught me that politicians of both parties use Americans as pawns whenever it’s convenient.  We have psychopaths running many of our agencies.  Just look at the FBI and the Justice Department.  Guilt and innocence are the least important aspects of people they target for “justice.”

But the shock tells me that probably the most important work Donald Trump can do before he retires to Mar a Lago in three and half years is to empty out the CIA and the FBI.  I think of these two agencies as threats a hundred times more dangerous to this country than China and Russia combined.  We have a very expensive and on balance, formidable military machine.  Even after eighty years, the nuclear deterrence of our arsenal is still potent.  I don’t think the benefits we gain from the intelligence and judgement of these intelligence agencies compensate us for the malice and deception that they seem to display as their defining characteristics.  They are a threat to the elected leaders of this country and they represent a potent force preventing the very information which our leaders need from reaching them.  Instead of facts they provide a narrative that is convenient for their interests but often is confusing and destructive.  I wish Donald Trump all the best luck in tackling these rogue agencies.  And I hope he breaks them permanently.

Well, that’s what I thought about today.

Cruel and Unusual Punishment

This was a brutal week.  Traveling, problems at work, family health issues, snow and ice removal and on and on and on.  So of course, the week ends with my yearly trip to the tax accountant. But honestly it was kind of soothing.  I’ve got a few business-related problems that have been gnawing at my mind for the last few months but I let it fester because I knew I could talk about them when I had my tax appointment.  But in the last few weeks I’ve been getting some warning e-mails from the state so I was planning to do some research before the appointment to have all my ducks in a row.  But all this jazz that’s gone on in the last week harpooned my good intentions and so I showed up at this meeting annoyed and worried.  And my accountant, as all good accountants should, explained in a few short words what I had to do and told me to stop worrying about it and just put it to bed in February and I would never have to think about this situation for the rest of eternity.  After that he told me that the reason I hadn’t gotten a document from one of the brokerage houses I have an account with is because they have until the 15th of February to mail it out and if I had waited another week to do my taxes, I’d have the form in hand.  So, problems solved, headache soothed and fears dispelled.  So, until next week there’s nothing but smooth sailing.  Well, there are a few inches of snow predicted for tonight but that’s just so I don’t get bored.

And today, the Senate finally voted in Kash Patel as the next Director of the FBI.  I’ve been waiting impatiently for this one for weeks.  Only the loopy women Republican senators from Maine and Alaska voted against him.  Even crooked old McConnell voted for Patel.  Mitch announced he’s not running for reelection next year and probably wants to stay on Trump’s good side so he isn’t prosecuted for corruption.  I think FBI Director is the last of the really important appointments left.  At this point, Trump has his people in place to start getting things done.

The first clip I saw on Patel’s approval on YouTube was from MSNBC and so the tenor of the report was that Kash Patel would lead to the downfall of the United States because he was the actual devil.  They had all these Democrat senators railing against Patel because he would subvert the mission of the FBI by weaponizing it against Donald Trump’s enemies.  It was hilarious.  The sheer scope of the projection they were transferring from Biden’s FBI to Patel was staggering.  They swore up and down that Patel had a hit list of about sixty FBI agents that he would punish for their work against Trump.  I don’t know if it was true but it made my mouth water just thinking of it!  If only a quarter of what they say Patel has in mind comes true it would be a reason to celebrate.

I’m well aware that the US Constitution has an explicit statement prohibiting “cruel and unusual” punishment.  But both words in this description are somewhat vague.  I think all of Trump’s tormentors should lose all of their civil service benefits including pensions and be forced to work as janitorial cleaning staff at Trump properties at minimum wage for the rest of their lives or until Donald Trump thinks they’ve suffered enough.  Only in that way can they truly learn the humility that comes with being a civil servant.  Oh, and they should be forced to listen to an audio loop of Trump’s most memorable rally speeches during their hours of work.  That should do it.

How Will We Know?

So, we’ve had a lot of fun.  Since November 5th most people on our side have had a real holiday from grief.  We got to enjoy Thanksgiving and Christmas buoyed by the knowledge that Joe Biden and Kamala Harris have been relegated to the ash heap of history.  What a wonderful phrase that is.  What an image.  There’s this enormous pile of cinders and burnt garbage and jumbled among these things are Joe Biden and Kamala Harris laying there covered with debris and looking extremely sad and confused.  So evocative of a better world!

But it’s best not to forget that this victory is just the beginning of a very long and difficult struggle to wrest control of the federal government from the horde of awful bureaucrats that make everything about our government expensive, inefficient and destructive.  It will be up to Trump’s cabinet to force a monkey wrench into the gears of government and wreck it.  And the question remains; will they do it?

I get the impression that Kash Patel really means to do just that.  And the fact that he was a prosecutor leads me to believe that he might have a good idea how to accomplish his goal of disemboweling the FBI.  I think of his tenure as the test case.  How long will it take for him to get going on the job?  And how long will it take before someone like me can tell that it’s working?  I’m guessing I’ll be able to tell if he’s having the desired effect if the New York Times and NPR are screaming that he’s destroying the FBI.

Maybe a bigger fish to fry is the purview of the Secretary of Defense.  Assuming Pete Hegseth is approved by the Senate he’s going to have an enormous job clearing out all the woke generals and other officers that Biden and Obama plunked down in the military.  But almost as important will be his implementation of Trump’s plan to end the Ukraine war.  I assume it’s going to be necessary for Hegseth to micromanage the defense department personnel to prevent them from continuing to supply the Ukrainians with endless weapons and money to keep the killing going until the last Ukrainian is dead.  He’s going to have to replace the existing supply chain personnel with people loyal to himself.  That’s going to take some doing.  There’s an enormous amount of money that gets distributed from the billions that go to Ukraine.  Shutting off that spigot is going to anger hordes of people and it might even trigger violence.  Hegseth will have his hands full.  I guess I’ll know that Hegseth is succeeding if the number of Ukrainians being killed falls drastically.  Probably the best indicator will be peace negotiations breaking out between Ukraine and Russia.

And finally Trump himself has a big part to play.  He has to get involved in the negotiations on the budget.  What I’m secretly craving is to hear that he’s managed to slip into the budget the elimination of the funding for the Corporation for Public Broadcasting.  If this could be eliminated it would put an enormous hole in the funding for PBS and NPR.  The elimination of those two toxic waste sites would in one fell swoop elevate the public discourse in this country immensely.  Think of it.  I might never see Jonathan Capehart’s homely face ever again.  For that alone I would consider Donald Trump’s second term in the White House a thunderous success.

Hey Christopher Wray, Brace Yourself

So what’s likely to happen to an agency of the federal government if it harasses and persecutes a presidential candidate and then he wins the presidency?

Well, if that agency is the FBI and that candidate is Donald Trump I’m guessing there are going to be an awful lot of unemployed FBI big-wigs.

And it couldn’t happen to a nicer bunch of guys.

“The Washington Times learned through several anonymous bureau sources that senior executives who run the agency were “stunned” and “shell-shocked” by Mr. Trump’s victory over Vice President Kamala Harris.”

And besides the personal animus of the incoming president there is fear that a general purge of the department is possible:

“Additionally, many on the 7th floor of the FBI are concerned about billionaire tech executive Elon Musk, owner of X and Tesla, being brought into the Trump administration as head of a government efficiency commission.

“When he tries to do efficiency at headquarters, the place is going to have five people … if he’s talking about a lot of dead weight,” a second FBI source said.”

Well, they say what goes around comes around and I couldn’t be happier.  If he doesn’t shut the whole place down I hope he gets Congress to neuter them so they can never threaten the freedoms of the American people again.

I only wish prosecutions of Wray and Garland were likely.  I hate those crooked bastards for what they did to a lot of innocent people on January 6th.

I’m Shocked, Shocked to Find …

Eric Adams is a former NYPD officer, former Brooklyn Borough President and the current Mayor of New York City.  He has been a known quantity for decades.  Without a doubt he has been a part of the graft and corruption that is the status quo within the New York political system.  He has flunkies and nepotistic individuals embedded throughout the city government and the odds that he hasn’t been receiving kickbacks and bribes for decades are zero.

But low and behold! The Feds have discovered there are kickbacks and bribery going on in New York City and Eric Adams is involved!  Amazing.

Well maybe not so amazing.  All of this surfaced when Adams started complaining about Washington relocating tens of thousands of illegal immigrants in New York City and it blew up the city budget.  So because he made the Biden administration look bad they’re coming for him with an indictment for doing what he’s always been doing.  It’s like in Casablanca when Claude Raines’ character Captain Louis Renault tells Rick that he’s shocked, shocked to discover that there is gambling going on in Rick’s Cafe just as the croupier hands him his gambling winnings.

One Last Chance to Make FISA a Little Less Evil

Even though the House with Speaker Johnson’s vote allowed the FISA laws to remain in force another two years, the House has one last chance on Monday to add an amendment that requires a warrant for almost every kind of surveillance of US citizens.

“House Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., was among the 86 Republicans who voted against including the bipartisan warrant mandate amendment in the bill to renew FISA through 2026.”

I’m sure the FBI, NSA and CIA put on a very convincing dog and pony show to convince Speaker Johnson that if he allowed a warrant requirement to block FISA surveillance that he would be blamed when the next attack occurs.  Well, it’s time for conservatives to say “We don’t care.”

It’s better to be free in a dangerous world than to be a safe slave.

Let’s hope Johnson has the brains in his head to take this last lifeline to take this one small step to begin undoing the harm that was done to our freedoms after 9/11.
