The Perfect Example

Jordan Neely was the embodiment of Black Lives Matter’s method for destroying America’s cities.  Here is a serial criminal who shook down subway passengers for money by screaming in their faces and threatening violence if they didn’t pay.  And these weren’t idle threats.  He had been arrested previously for four assaults and there is a video of him slamming a woman against the outside of a subway car.  At the time of his death, he had forty-two prior arrests.

The young man, a former Marine, who tried to hold him until the police came was doing what countless people probably wished they had the guts to do.  But now he’s facing the prospect of being prosecuted for murder.  So, this is the essence of what Barack Obama, BLM, Soros prosecutors and the Justice Department have created.  Black criminals are given free rein to harass, humiliate, terrorize and even assault innocent bystanders.  And if anyone tries to resist then this resistance will be criminalized to the full extent of the law.  Even the police are now the victims of lawfare whenever they try to do their jobs.  And in consequence of which they now seldom bother to prevent crime.  They take their job to be just collecting statements and calling for the ambulances to transport the victims to the hospital.

Essentially the private citizen realizes that he’s on his own whenever he walks down the street or descends into the subway.  The police are no longer a deterrent and won’t arrive in time to prevent his assault or murder depending on circumstances.  So, the young man who killed Jordan Neely decided that instead of allowing the people in the subway car to be victimized and harassed by Neely he would use his combat training to incapacitate Neely until the police could take him into custody.

Neely’s advocates say that the Marine should have just ignored Neely and in fact many of these people say the commuters he was harassing on the train should have just handed over money to him.  And that’s the whole thing right there in a nutshell.  According to the Left and the people they’ve put in charge of criminal justice in these cities, you must endure harassment, humiliation, intimidation, even physical assault because the people assaulting you are victims and therefore deserve to make your life miserable.

So, this case is the encapsulation of the whole BLM reign of terror.  Places like Chicago and New York have been transformed from safe, clean centers of commerce and culture to dirty, dangerous hellscapes filled with homeless encampments, drug addicts, criminals, fear and misery.

But now if this young man is prosecuted for defending the people who the police no longer protect, then the City of New York has officially sanctioned the targeting of innocent people by criminals.  The criminals like Jordan Neely aren’t jailed for these crimes.  Even if they are arrested, they will not be detained but instead let go the same day to continue in their criminal pursuits.  Whereas if their victims fight back, they will be jailed and prosecuted to the full extent of the law.  And the chance of federal charges being added based on the race of the perpetrator is a real possibility.

So far, the usual suspects have been screaming for the Marine’s blood.  But interestingly, neither the mayor nor the wretched district attorney has rushed to declare the young man a criminal.  Maybe it’s possible that the Democrats have told them how bad the optics would be if this man was prosecuted for trying to help his fellow New Yorkers against a deranged felon.  But in the long run I don’t think the odds are with him.

I guess if things turn out badly at least it will be a bellwether to warn the rest of the normal city residents that the only way they can avoid being part of a permanent victim class is by getting the hell out of these cities permanently.

Will Gov. Greg Abbott Pardon Daniel Perry?

Sgt. Daniel Perry was convicted of murder by an Austin jury under a Soros DA’s direction.  Perry killed a BLM rioter that brandished an AR-15 at him during a BLM riot back in 2020.  Now Governor Abbott is trying to get his Board of Pardons and Paroles to recommend Perry for a pardon.  We’ll see if the governor can make it happen.  It would strike a blow for justice and fairness in a big red state with a deep blue capitol city.  Stay tuned.

Selective Enforcement of the Law – Up in Lights on Broadway

“Alvin Bragg is the 37th District Attorney elected in Manhattan. Alvin – a lifelong Manhattanite who served as a state and federal prosecutor – has spent more than two decades fighting to make our communities safer and our criminal justice system fairer.”

This is the header on the official website of the Manhattan District Attorney.  Alvin Bragg is also another one of those black district attorneys that George Soros spent millions of dollars electing so that they could prevent black criminals from being indicted for the crimes they commit.

So, after destroying the criminal justice system in New York City and destroying the lives and businesses of countless New Yorkers he’s decided to add hypocrisy to his lawlessness.  Here’s what I mean.

If a black criminal held up a jewelry store by beating the owner into submission and made off with a million dollars in diamonds and even if the NYPD managed to catch him red-handed Alvin Bragg would let him go.  No bail needed and maybe no charges.

But if the Democrat Party wants to harass Donald Trump, Bragg will gladly indict and prosecute Donald Trump for an old charge in a victimless crime that all of Bragg’s predecessors found too absurd to pursue.

Selective enforcement of the law is the process that the Left uses to punish Republicans and conservatives and protect their criminal constituencies which currently means the black inner-city thugs and thieves.

Well, it’s not surprising.  This has been going on forever.  Think of the policeman that was hung out to dry for the Michael Brown shooting and the guy who stopped Trayvon Martin from bashing his brains in by shooting him.  They were prosecuted for self-defense.  The fact that they weren’t convicted was luck based on the honesty of the juries.  But what kind of chance will Donald Trump have with a Manhattan jury.  I doubt he got 5% of the vote in Manhattan in 2020.

And from what I understand the Justice Department is waiting to get their turn with the classified documents case.  So, the lawfare will probably go on for years.

I guess the only point of this post is to acknowledge that the Left has volunteered to add yet another page to the roster of evidence that the United States of America has officially descended to the level of banana republic.  Nothing more clearly defines the difference between a legitimate constitutional country and a junta like using kangaroo courts to go after your political opponents.  Whether it’s Castro in Cuba or the Sandinistas in Nicaragua weaponizing the justice system is a hallmark.  And now it’s in the highest visibility venue with the most famous man in the country.  It’s going to be a sideshow.  But they’re not scared.

I remember how before the Iraq War there were innumerable articles about how Saddam and his psychopathic son Uday were notorious for using the Iraqi justice department to imprison, torture and then murder political enemies.  The rape of the family members was a particular trademark of Uday but Saddam’s regime was brutal for anyone who wasn’t in the good graces of the dictator.

Well, I guess we still have a long way to go but Washington should be proud that they’ve made such great strides in just a few short decades.  Between the presidencies of Obama and Biden we have raised lawfare to a high art as the members of the Trump administration can truthfully attest.  Prosecutors and judges will bend the law and suspend constitutional rights to punish those they accuse on trumped up charges.  Just look at what they’ve done to the January 6th defendants.

I could hope that seeing this played out against the former President of the United States might wake up even the groggiest Americans out there and act as a call to action.  But I don’t think so.  We’ve hit bottom.  America is a place where those in charge do whatever they want to those they despise.  That’s the only lesson I draw.

Missouri AG Fires Kim Gardner. About Damn Time

So Kim Gardner is the Soros funded St. Louis Circuit Attorney who has been doing what all Soros backed district attorneys do.  She has been freeing dangerous felons based on their race.  Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey finally pulled the plug on her reign of terror when as a last straw, a 16-year-old volleyball player Janae Edmonson visiting St. Louis with her team over the weekend was hit by a speeding vehicle and lost both of her legs.

“He fired Gardner by initiating “quo warranto” proceedings to remove Gardner after she failed to meet his deadline. The writ requires people to whom it is directed to show what authority they have for exercising some right, power or franchise they claim to hold.

The driver in the weekend accident, Daniel Riley, “is a dangerous gunman who should have been in jail,” Bailey said. The suspect was charged in 2020 in connection to stealing a firearm at gunpoint, and since that time he has violated his bond conditions more than 100 times and he never even had a driver’s license, local outlet KMOV reported.

“Instead of protecting victims, Circuit Attorney Gardner is creating them,” the Missouri attorney general said. “This is the latest in a long pattern of brazen neglect. The St. Louis Circuit Attorney has a long history of failure to prosecute violent crime, with a backlog of at least 3,000 cases.””

This is reminiscent of Ron DeSantis firing a district attorney who refused to prosecute offenders against laws he didn’t like.  All red state governors and attorneys general should pay attention and follow suit.  Blue cities in red states should not be allowed to victimize their inhabitants and laws should be written by the legislatures to address these sorts of abuses and criminal penalties for malpractice in the office of state or district attorney should be made severe and easy to prosecute.

At the very least people living in red states should insist that law and order is maintained within the cities in their states.  And when the mayors and district attorneys tolerate or encourage chaos in the name of equity the state officials need to step in and prosecute these people for failing to provide equal justice under the law and for failing to uphold the constitutional rights of their constituents.

Take notice governor Abbott.  Do something about Austin.

Mike Simonelli Appears on Fox News to Condemn Manhattan DA

If you remember last month I linked to my friend Mike Simonelli’s book, Justified Deadly Force.

Last week he was invited onto Fox News to comment on the new Manhattan DA’s policy of refusing to prosecute anything short of murder.  My favorite bit is his answer to the DA’s question on how do we define a criminal.

Manhattan DA Says No Jail Time for Crimes Below Murder or Deadly Assault

This is wonderful.  “Newly minted Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg issued marching orders to his hundreds of assistants and support staff.  Bragg says his office “will not seek a carceral sentence” for anything short of murder or deadly assault (“carceral” being progressive double-speak for prison). Also, he says minor crime won’t be prosecuted at all.”

Bragg is another of George Soros’s success stories after he donated a million dollars for Bragg’s campaign.

So now I can start my new career as jewel thief.  All I need to do is head down to the Diamond Row in Manhattan, hit all of the larger shops for a few million dollars worth of diamonds, find a fence to take them off my hands, rinse and repeat for a few weeks, then retire (far away from dangerous New York) and live the life of George Soros.  Or if I prefer burglary I can just break into apartments on the Upper East or West Sides of Manhattan, the places where people vote for progressives, and simply take all their stuff while they’re not at home.  Or I can steal luxury cars and sell them to chop shops.  That should be very lucrative.  I wonder if I can find DA Bragg’s BMW the first week just to show my gratitude?

This is very good news.  Mayor Eric Adams is going to find it pretty difficult to rein in crime if all the criminals he allows the police to arrest are simply released by Bragg.  But this should accelerate New York’s slide into cannibalism very nicely.

Thank you DA Bragg.

The Soros Crime Epidemic

This article does a pretty fair job at summarizing the where and the why of George Soros’s sabotage of the criminal justice system in a multitude of American cities.  Soros is an enemy of healthy society.  He is intelligent and he is evil.  I hope he dies very soon and his money is frittered away by his despicable offspring as soon as possible.

The sheer numbers of lives lost because he has been able to elect district attorneys that will not take dangerous criminals off the street is stunning.  Thousands of extra lives have been lost and many American cities have become war zones.  Soros will rot in hell for this but we will bear most of the burden for a long time to come.  Stay away from these cities if you value your life and your family’s.
