Maybe This is the Beginning of Something Big

What happens next is worth watching.  Will it sputter out or are there really enough people who have had enough that something big is in the wings?  We’ll see soon enough.  Suffice it to say that people are pretty fed up.  It’s funny to hear some of the “pundits” on the right condemning this as if horrible violence is being committed.  Compared to what was going on during the “summer of Floyd” this is nothing.  This is just a bunch of people who are pissed off and want their government to listen to them.  I hope it grows.  I want the federal government and the Congress to know that they’ve alienated more than half the country.  And I wouldn’t be surprised to see civil disobedience and worse to start going on across the country.  And when they swear in Dementia Joe on the 21st I wouldn’t be surprised by anything that happens.

Sure, people may just knuckle under.  The Left now controls every lever of power.  They can take everything from you without you being able to say anything but there will be some small number of people who either haven’t got anything left to lose or who have enough courage to risk everything to make a statement.  Maybe this is just a small hiccough caused by the extinction of hope for the election fraud to be acknowledged and adjudicated.  Maybe this was the whimper that follows the reading of the death sentence for American democracy.  Call it the dead cat bounce of our fighting spirit as a free people.  All those things are one way it could go.

Or maybe just maybe it’s the first round of Americans telling their overlords that they have had enough.  It caught my attention.

Update – Now they have their first martyr, and it’s a young woman.

What do you think?

Sorry, there are no polls available at the moment.

What Do You Call a Country Like This?

It is December 1st 2020 so I am fervently hoping that President Trump will be successful in forcing the courts and the legislatures to acknowledge the overwhelming evidence of wholesale fraud and assign him the election win.  But regardless of the outcome of that effort we have to come to grips with the fact that the country we thought we lived in does not exist.

Now that’s a bold statement but I think it’s undeniably true.  The last election was not a squeaker that could have turned on the margin of error.  Unlike 2016 President Trump had massive new support in the swing states that he needed to win.  And that was obviously apparent right up until the switch was pulled in Pennsylvania, Georgia, Michigan and Wisconsin.  In each state President Trump was decisively ahead when the counting was shut down and the observers were sent home and the fake ballots were trucked in by the hundreds of thousands and the fake count was performed without honest witnesses to confirm that the ballots were legitimate.  All the other jazz about the electronic systems in place may be as horrendous as they say.  That’s harder for me to know about.  But the obvious fraud is what we’re left with.

Now what kind of country do these sorts of things happen in?  Well, you can think of a whole bunch of names.  Oligarchy is the sophisticated name.  When I was growing up it would have been called a banana republic.  The term that I think is appropriate is gangster state.  Without a doubt we haven’t reached the level of brutality that Saddam Hussein was famous for but it’s really only a matter of degree or maybe a more sophisticated sense of taste.  After all, the FBI, the Justice Department and the judiciary tortured General Flynn and others of the Trump team psychologically for more than four years with no evidence of a crime having been committed and the media has used concerted propaganda campaigns, supported by the social media companies against half the country for almost a decade.  And now that the Left has made riot, looting and arson business as usual I can’t see how anyone can claim that there is a qualitative difference between what goes on in the United States and what goes on in Venezuela or Syria.  Say what you like, you can’t call that kind of regime democratic or even legitimate.  When the law is enforced selectively and based on partisan advantage then tyranny and dictatorship are perfectly accurate descriptions for that type of regime.

And that is my whole point for this post.  Things should be called by their right names.  Words shouldn’t hide reality.  Calling a place, the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea is just making believe that the word democratic doesn’t mean rule by the people.  So, let’s call the place we live in by what it truly is.  Let’s call it the Democratic People’s Republic of America.  I wonder if Kim Jong-Un could send one of those stylish outfits he wears to Creepy Uncle Joe.  It would look just about right on the Dear Leader.

We Are the United States of America

We are the United States of America.  What do I mean by that?  I’ll start by defining the word we.  I’m restricting that down to the right-wing of the people living in this country.  I don’t mean any ethnicity or race or political status.  I am talking about the people who are in rebellion against BLM, Antifa, Joe Biden, Alexandria Ocasio Cortez, Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, Mitt Romney, Google, Twitter, Facebook, California, New York, New England, Seattle, Minneapolis and Portland.  We believe in the Constitution of the United States as written at our founding.  We believe in the God given rights found in the Bill of Rights and we do not acknowledge the authority of the FBI, CIA, NSA, or any other government or corporate goons to try and take those rights away.  We do not acknowledge white privilege, systemic racism, critical race theory, intersectionality or any other pseudo-intellectual theory that tries to rationalize disenfranchising Americans of their freedom and rights.

We believe in the things that our ancestors have believed in for all of recorded history.  We believe in God.  We believe in a man and a woman forming a family from the children that they create from their bodies.  We believe that that family is the basis for all the good things that we hold sacred.  We believe that families support each other to form a community and those communities are what make up this nation.  Anyone like BLM or GLAAD whose stated goal is to disrupt the primacy of these families is a mortal enemy of this nation and needs to be rooted out and eliminated.  We don’t believe that sexual deviancy is something to be celebrated.  We don’t believe that men and women who are confused about their sexuality are competent to teach children about any aspect of life.  We don’t believe that the government is responsible or competent to raise our children.  We don’t believe that freedom of speech and freedom of religion are optional or conditional.  We believe in a divine right to live the kind of life we live.

Anybody who believes in or even knuckles under to these people and ideas on the Left isn’t an American.  At best he’s a pawn of these usurpers.  At best he’s an obstacle to reclaiming our country.  And at worst he’s one of them.  He’s part of the truly despicable movement that has allied itself with the globalist elite that is attempting to consolidate power over the formerly free people of the United States of America.  And they’ve come pretty far in their plan.  Most of it they did while we weren’t even aware of their presence.  We can thank the Republican establishment for that.  Their job as controlled opposition was to give the illusion of resistance to the Left while ensuring that the Left always got their way.  By diverting all power from the Right into their hands they ensured that nothing effective was ever done to save our way of life.  Well, fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me.  I won’t be fooled again.

As the only legitimate remaining part of the United States of America we have several jobs.  One is to maintain the culture and the memory of what the United States was.  That’s a pretty big job.  We’re assaulted on every side by the Left’s war against normalcy and against our history.  Evangelizing the young and celebrating our culture is important and takes time and resources.  Resources are needed to pay for schooling and other institutions that keep our way of life alive inside the occupied territories.

Another job is to begin building the structures and institutions that will allow us to have autonomy from the leftist controlled government and corporate entities.  We’ll need our own banks and schools and companies so that the Left won’t be able to discriminate against us and deprive us of services.  We need to distinguish between those who are hostile to us and those who are not and do business accordingly.  We must build community and support each other.

And finally, we need to build up power structures at least at the state level to resist the attacks of the Left at the federal level and eventually overcome them and take back the country.  Whether this is a slow separation of Red and Blue states or a more dramatic revolt is hard to say.  But we have to know that our beliefs aren’t ignored by the people in charge.  They need to be accountable to us and we need to stay awake to what’s going on and take charge of the democratic process.  Assuming that the elites have our best interests at heart is how we got in this mess in the first place.

Well, that was a lot of words.  But what I’m trying to say is that regardless of what the media tells you and how the people in charge spin what’s going on, we are still here.  We’re who we always were and we will endure.  And the way we endure is to celebrate what is true and sacred about life and reject the false and diseased.  We are strong and we are vital.  They are confused and they are fading away.  And especially at this time of year rejoice and have faith.

Political Realities of America – Part 2

In the first installment of this article I listed the available choices I see for right-wingers in America.  To reiterate what I said in the first part, “I think we have three choices.  Fold, flee or fight.  Surrender to the hive, leave the areas under their control, or fight them.”  I’ve given my thoughts on the first two options.  I will now hold forth on the last option, fight.

Now full disclosure, I’m not former military, law enforcement, a ninja or an itinerant samurai.  I don’t even study military history at the enthusiast level.  I will not be able to discourse on what kind of strategy or tactics are needed to wage any kind of war on our enemies.  And that is fine because I don’t think we need anyone who is qualified in those things for the foreseeable future.  The battles we will be fighting will take place in courts and the court of public opinion.  They will take place in the public square and in the electronic versions of it.  And it will take place in the state legislatures and state houses, the schools and colleges and unions and churches and grocery stores and department stores and book stores and the electronic equivalent (Amazon.com) and it will take place in the homes of Americans.  Or it won’t take place at all.

And I want to tell you a little secret about my original three choices.  They are not really completely separate.  For instance, suppose you live in one of the bluest of blue states and actually serve in the managerial state.  From my original division you are classified as someone who has folded.  You are living under the yoke of the woke state.  But who is to say that you aren’t maintaining a clandestine existence as a right-wing blogger providing support and encouragement to our side?  He may be part of a secret cell that coordinates activities and transfers information back and forth from behind enemy lines.

According to my division, if you leave a blue state and move to a red state then you are a fleeing the field.  But what if you prefer to chose the ground from which to fight?  I’ve always heard that picking the high ground is the only way to win a battle.  I don’t deny that guerilla tactics are effective in some cases.  But trying to lead an insurgency in one of the deep blue states like in New England is almost an impossible prospect.  Finding a red state home to embrace seems like a much better opportunity to be part of the struggle.  The added advantage is that while you’re fighting you can enjoy the benefits of living under a friendly regime.  The laws won’t be stacked against you and your neighbors truly will be like neighbors.  It’s kind of hard to reason against any of that.

Putting all of that aside what does it mean to fight for our side in America?  It means working to change the system and the institutions that we live under.  It means building social networks for people like us.  And it means electing leaders who will have the courage to stand up to the federal government and tell them no.

With respect to this last item, I am waiting for a state legislature and governor to write a law that doesn’t cave into the non-Constitutional decisions that the Supreme Court has decided on some issue, probably on a social issue.  And once the Supreme Court rules against it I am waiting for the governor to say, “I don’t care what the Supreme Court says, that is the law of our sovereign state and we’re not going to back down.”  That is what I’m waiting for.  Even under a democrat president I do not think we’ll be seeing troops on the ground to enforce the Supreme Court’s decision.  If that happens it will be the beginning of something big.  It will be the first crack in the dike.  And hopefully it will be the beginning of the end of leftist tyranny.

What fighting the Leftists means is working against their interests in any and every way we can think of.  Because that is the surest way to further your own interests and the quickest way to gaining freedom for all of us.  Tens of millions of Americans have awakened in the last five years to the realization that the system has been rigged against us all along.  This last election has proven that voting is no longer an option for fixing the system.  We are going to have to forget about compromising with our enemies and we can’t assume that the Constitution is going to protect our rights.  We are going to have to take what we want and only strong leaders are going to be able to help us do that.  All of the weak-willed Republicans who are only interested in maintaining their perks and their place on the government gravy train have to go.  If they aren’t signed up to change the system then they are part of the problem.  Fighting means getting involved in the government and maybe even running for office if you have the skills.  But at the very least you are going to have to get involved in process if you really want anything to change.

And finally, what do I think are the odds that one day it will come down to real fighting?  Based on what I’ve seen of Antifa and BLM I don’t doubt that in blue cities and states the creepy thugs that flock to our enemies will stage riots and attack innocent people.  But you notice that they don’t go outside of blue areas.  That’s because in red areas they’d be shot dead and the local sheriff will say it was justified.  But it could come down to federal law enforcement or even troops being sent into a state to strong arm the state government into complying with some federal law that people hate.  That would be the test of how committed the locals are.  Do I think there could be a shooting war?  Yeah, I do.  I hope I’ll never see it but I’m not dishonest enough to make believe it couldn’t happen.  After that just about anything is possible.  If the resistance is from private citizens then it will be pretty difficult for the feds to investigate it without the cooperation of the locals.  And I can’t see the state law enforcement going out of their way to help the invaders.

But this is stuff way down the road.  First, we have to elect officials who actually believe the same things we do.  Then we have to hold their feet to the fire and force them to take the stands we want.  After that we’ll have something to actually fight about.

Political Realities of America – Part 1

After what we’ve seen on display during the last four years it seems clear to me that the people in charge of the Democrat party have a stranglehold on almost all the levers of power that exist at the national level in the United States.  And more than that, they control the majority of the power at the state and local level.

It’s probably easier to name the ones they don’t control.  The Republicans control the legislatures and state houses of about half the states and have a hair thin majority in the US Senate.  That’s it.  Our side has almost none of the major media companies, corporations, universities, non-profits, professional societies, unions, banks, financial institutions, publishers or any of the departments of the bureaucracy that we call the Deep State.  Even the Supreme Court that we supposedly have appointed by a six to three margin heaps defeat after defeat on us.  We don’t even control the capital cities of the states that we do hold.  Basically, every city large enough to have a welfare population is controlled by the Democrats.

This is not a new situation.  This has been the status quo for as long as there has been a United States.  The descendants of the New England Puritans have been expanding and consolidating their control over the areas that they’ve colonized since they got here in the seventeenth century.  They control the Northeast, the Great Lakes region, The Pacific Coast and they’ve been expanding off of those areas continuously.  Now they’ve reached down to Virginia in the east and the wretched Californians that ruined their own state are destroying Colorado, Arizona, Nevada and soon enough, the rest of the Mountain West.

They’ve got a very effective model.  It has nothing to do with freedom, equality or anything like that.  It’s strictly a matter of gaining control by power politics.  They’ll paper it over by claiming that they are fighting the evil racists or whatever bogeyman they’ve concocted to bamboozle the simple-minded poor people they pay off for votes.  But if buying votes isn’t enough, they have perfected stealing elections by fabricating votes in urban districts.

All of this has been on open display since Election Day.  Unprecedented vote totals were unleashed in the early hours of November 4th as soon as it became clear that President Trump was going to win in Pennsylvania, Georgia and Wisconsin.  Not even a fig leaf was maintained that a fair election was going on.  The Republican poll watchers were forced out and the trucks backed up to the buildings and poured in the bogus ballots by the hundreds of thousands.

At this point in the process it’s entirely possible that the Supreme Court will be so ashamed of allowing a presidential election be stolen in plain view that they will do something to stop it.  I’d say it’s fifty-fifty.  John Roberts is a worthless, spineless traitor so if we win it will be at best a 5-4 vote.  But even if the President prevails and we get a four-year reprieve it is still necessary to look realistically at the way this country works and plan accordingly.  And if the Supreme Court stabs us in the back again then we have two months to decide how we will deal with the facts on the ground.

I think we have three choices.  Fold, flee or fight.  Surrender to the hive, leave the areas under their control, or fight them.

And I’m guessing it’s not completely clear to anyone which of these choices is best.

So, let’s look first at Option 1, Fold.  Think about it.  You know plenty of people who don’t believe in the leftist madness but who have responsible positions in the corporate and government circles who have to spout the party line and burn incense to Baal.  Their kids go to Yale and Columbia and they write their memos that pledge allegiance to diversity and inclusion and make sure they have a man in a dress working for them in the HR department.  Sure, they have to choke back the cognitive dissonance when they say the things that are expected of them.  But they get paid very well to do it.  They get all the perks that go along with membership in the lower ranks of the managerial elite.  They live in safe neighborhoods; their kids go to the best schools and all the right doors get opened to them in all avenues of life.  They belong to the right clubs and organizations.  They vacation on Martha’s Vineyard or the Hamptons and they get invited to all the best parties and gatherings.

I even know people who say they can keep up this charade while still protecting their kids from the madness that goes along with the propaganda and proselytizing that the sexual deviants that run our public schools practice.  Maybe they can.  Maybe it’s possible to live inside the hive in complete disguise and maintain a normal life.  If it is then my hat’s off to these people.  I don’t seem to be able to do it.  Listening to the proclamations from the Ministries of Peace, Truth and Love are just too much for my little brain to ignore.  But I’m not everyone.  So, there are probably a bunch of people who will take the blue pill and get on with their lives inside the hive.

How about Option 2, Flee.  Let’s define that a little bit.  It could mean moving from a blue city to the surrounding rural areas of a red state.  Or it could be moving from a blue state to a red state.  Or it could mean leaving the country.  All of these are calculations that a man has to make.  Leaving a city is the easiest choice.  It’s a thing you’d do even if the city wasn’t a political prison.  Lots of folks have always left cities in order to take advantage of the lower costs and property values associated with getting out of the crowded and expensive cities.  But I can personally attest to the unsatisfying result of moving from a blue city to a blue state suburb.  It will lessen your chances of suffering violent crime and give your kids half decent schools but that’s about it.  Now these first two choices end up with someone living in a red state.  That is something.  And if the state is deep red then you will notice a big change.  Living in a place where you’re still allowed to say what you really think and surrounded by mostly normal people is like a dream come true for a deplorable living in a blue state.  And in such a place the schools will be much less destructive of normal ideas about the world.  But even in red states you’re going to deal with the realities of living in America.  Affirmative action and all the other programs that take away the freedom of association and choice that we’re supposed to enjoy is still the law of the land.  So, the move isn’t a cure for the American condition just a less serious case.  And as the leftists tighten the screws through the courts and their corporate allies it will be less and less of an improvement.  Now the only way to completely escape the leftists is to leave the country.  But that brings up a separate predicament.  Where exactly is it better than here?  Moving to Canada or Australia or Europe is at best a mixed situation.  None of those places have even the pretense of a bill of rights.  And all of them are run by elites that have approximately the same program as our masters here.  There may be some places that would be less oppressive like some of the eastern European countries but think of the dislocation you and your family would experience being a stranger in a strange land.  But I know many people who are thinking of exactly this trade-off.

And now we come to Option 3, Fight.  But that’s a long story and I’ll keep that for Part 2.  But I will say that the first two option are pretty awful for someone who believes in the ideals that America is supposed to represent.  You could see why staying and fighting would be the option you would want to take.  We’ll talk about that next.

First Step to Counter the Blue Cities in Red States

I saw this headline on OANN and thought, “there’s a Republican with a brain.”

Fla. Gov. DeSantis Proposes Expanded ‘Stand Your Ground’ Law Aimed At Looting

Good for DeSantis.  Any state that wants to start getting out from under the thumb of the Leftists will have to figure ways to protect its citizens from prosecution by local jurisdictions like what happened in St. Louis to those homeowners trying to protect their home from the mob.

My takeaway, replace any Fox News links with OANN links.

Addressing the Status of Less Crazy Leftists

Recently during a phone call, a friend of mine asked my opinion on Glenn Greenwald.  For those unaware Greenwald was involved in the Snowden NSA leaks and has written on many aspects of the government overreach on privacy issues.  He has of late been very critical of the lock step solidarity by the tech giants and the Democratic/MSM complex to censor important news stories based on partisan viewpoint.

During the phone call I was pretty heatedly adamant that Glenn Greenwald wasn’t an ally, he was part of the Left and therefore my opponent.  But thinking about it for a while I figure it’s worthwhile clarifying exactly how I characterize guys like Greenwald and Taibbi.  In a short phrase I’d call them honest Leftists.  They believe in most of the things that the woke psychos believe in but they also believe in the Bill of Rights.  They don’t think it’s acceptable for the government to conspire with the media to railroad someone even if he’s a no-good conservative.  They probably don’t mind if Google algorithmically advantages the Left and disadvantages the Right but they don’t want it suppressing news outlets from broadcasting their stories across their platform.

And when I see a Matt Taibbi story calling MSNBC and the New York Times hypocrites for running stories that they know are false in order to advantage the Democrats, I praise him.  And when Greenwald is willing to walk away from the website that he founded because the owner forbids him to speak honestly about the Hunter Biden story then I praise him.  And what I am praising is his honesty and moral consistency.  And nowadays that’s a lot.  On left or right that’s a rare thing.  It’s an admirable trait and deserves praise.  It should be recognized and praised.

What it’s not is a reason to “reach across the aisle” and try to form an alliance.  That was the mistake that conservatives made with the neoconservatives.  Conservatives thought that because both sides wanted a strong defense against the Russians and free market capitalism that we could join forces and work a compromise that would work to both sides’ advantage.  Instead we got a series of wars in the Middle East and a globalist financial agenda while they adopted all of the social policies of the far Left.  That meant gay marriage, transgenderism, open borders, intersectionality in our schools and BLM in the streets.

And as long as all of these things were slowly assimilated into the culture without violence in the street and approved by the Supreme Court voted in by the Uniparty then the neocons would be fine with it.  And if you weren’t fine with it  then you were a racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic bigot.  And the same slippery slope goes double for Matt Taibbi and Glenn Greenwald.  All they require is that all the i’s are dotted and the t’s are crossed.  They are honest and they honestly want all the things that make life in America awful.  The only difference is that they’re willing to let you say what you think before they call you a racist homophobe.  The woke people want to silence you so you can’t even say it, or write it or even think it.  They need to be dealt with drastically.  They need to be put out of business.  Taibbi and Greenwald can be ignored.

Bottom line, I respect Taibbi and Greenwald.  But they are not my friends, allies or partners.  They are my enemies even if they are enemies whose honesty I respect.

Angelo Codevilla Chronicles the Revolution

Angelo Codevilla is one of the deep thinkers over at the Claremont Institute and I’ve been following his writings since 2016 when he and Michael Anton were sounding the alarm that the American Republic was about to be euthanized by the Clinton/Obama crime family.  In this sizable (8,000+ words!) essay he comprehensively lays out his explanation of how we got where we are and what we will have to do going forward if we hope to recover some of our freedoms.  He is pretty pessimistic about our chances and rightly so I think.  Anyway this is a pretty deep dive and he goes over a lot of things that we all are aware of but from his own way of looking at it.  I eat this stuff up.  Your mileage may vary.

Revolution 2020

2020 Choice – Stand or Grovel

This election will be the perfect indicator of whether or not we have been overwhelmed by the rot that has beset our institutions for the last hundred years.  A starker choice could not be imagined.  The foaming-at-the-mouth Left has dropped the mask completely.  They have embraced the mob in all its nihilistic rage and unleashed it on the citizens of the blue states and the blue cities.  Seattle has gone as far as setting up a killing zone in their capitol where the mob patrols with machine guns and doles out death to the black lives that supposedly they are representing.  It’s like something out of Pol Pot.

If the election does go to Biden you can argue whether voter fraud, or dislike of President Trump by white women or demographics was the deciding factor but what will be undeniable is that a new nation will be dominant inside the geographic boundaries of what used to be America.  The millennials will soon be the dominant cohort within the American demographic and if they decide that what is going on in the streets of our cities is acceptable then nothing will deflect us from the course that the Left is plotting.

So let’s take it one step further, even if President Trump wins this election but only just barely, that still tells me that we are changing for the worse.  What happened in 1968, the rioting and the arson, was still an aberration that shocked the country and galvanized the population to support a law and order candidate in President Nixon, to clean up the problem.  If we don’t see the same reaction to the even more disturbing violence and anarchy gripping our cities this year then it speaks of a loss of will.

Someone might say that it is the propaganda by the media and the kowtowing by the corporations that is misleading Americans.  That these normal people have been fooled by the narrative that the rioting is a reasonable reaction to systemic racism in the police and in American society.  But that is nonsense.  Only someone already brainwashed by the Left could mistake what is happening for reasonable.  Anyone with even a trace of self-respect and an iota of common sense would see what’s happening as an attack on the foundations of our identity and the symbols of the greatest and best country in the history of mankind.

If we do not see a resounding victory for the Right then we are heading down a road to serfdom.  It is possible that through the efforts of a Trump administration we can begin to change direction and change the institutions that have brought about this problem.  With the right Supreme Court and with legislation and enforcement by the DOJ many harmful practices could be suppressed.  But with the current slender majority in the Senate and the Democrat majority in the House and the unreliable nature of the Supreme Court it seems unlikely that much will be done.

So that is why I see this election as a barometer.  If President Trump wins a decisive victory and we pick up seats in the Senate and retake the majority in the House then I see a sliver of hope that there is still enough of the silent majority to allow us to try and turn this thing around together as the United States of America.  If that happens, we stand.  Anything else tells me that the future will require groveling and that is something I won’t stick around for.

How Stupid Do You Have to Be?

On both sides of the racial divide there are reactions to the George Floyd killing that cannot be called just, proportionate or even, in some cases, rational.  If one white policeman kills one black crime suspect then multiple cities should be looted and burned and fifteen people should lose their lives?  And alternatively, when a mob robs and loots your city should you kneel down to them, beg their forgiveness and wash their feet?

The title of the post reflects one possible reason for these two extreme reactions.  It is possible that there are white and black people so stupid that they believe both of these reactions are reasonable and even just.  In fact, I’ll grant that there is certainly a percentage of the human race so dim that they can be persuaded by media false equivalence and just plain ignorance that these courses of action are reasonable and correct.  But at the same time, I know these numbers are low.  Call these people the core of the problem.

Then there are people for whom these terrible actions are within their conscienceless self-interest.  On the rioting side you have criminal looters and Antifa anarchists who are gaining from the rioting.  The looters have material gain in the form of stolen property.  The Antifa lunatics are gaining political power and street credibility.  On the national front of the groveling side we have politicians and the media who hope to use the riots as a political wedge to drive the black vote and the suburban woman vote to the Democrat side.  On the local level you have blue city mayors pandering to their black voting base.  They seem to have finally chosen between maintaining a semblance of law and order in their crime ridden cities and kowtowing to inner-city lunacy.  Let’s call this the primary cause of the actions in question.  Without a doubt, these are the catalysts without which, the riots wouldn’t occur.

But then there is a third component.  These are the people just going along with their team.  Here we have all the people who should know better and should act as a brake on these things but are so conditioned to follow the narrative that it’s reflexive.  They’ll parrot the media’s talking points and justify even the most insane behavior on the basis of their team color.  And you get the impression that no matter what lengths the madness goes they would excuse it as reasonable.

So that’s my point.  You have to be mighty stupid to believe that these actions are reasonable, fair or even sane.  But you don’t have to be stupid to make believe that you believe in it.  You just have to be dishonest.

In an ethics class you might make a distinction between these groups of people.  You wouldn’t hold the dim-witted responsible for their actions and would attempt to educate them.  The other groups would be culpable because they should know better but choose to do wrong.

In real life you can’t make any distinction.  They are all the enemy.  Their actions are inimical to your physical and mental well-being.  Trying to convince them of your side of things will not succeed.  In fact, after a certain point wasting effort trying to convince them of their error is more a sign of stupidity or insanity on your part.

DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME TRYING TO CONVINCE DISHONEST PEOPLE TO DO THE RIGHT THING.

The only people left who should be considered are honest people with at least normal intelligence.  And it won’t take more than minimal effort to present the information in a form that shows which side they should be on.  You could put the timeline on the back of a 5 X 7 index card.

  • Derek Chauvin kills George Floyd.
  • Minneapolis fires Chauvin.
  • Minneapolis arrests Chauvin for murder.
  • Antifa and black looters burn chunks of Minneapolis.
  • Mayor Frey abandons police precinct to the mob.
  • Mob burns more of Minneapolis and moves into the suburbs.
  • Mobs burn a number of Democrat run cities, billions in damage, 15 dead.
  • Democrat mayors grovel to the mobs.

I think that about sums it up.  Anyone who knows this much about what happened and still sides with the mob is beyond any hope of convincing.  You would be wasting your time and actually making yourself stupider just by the effort.

What is sensible to do is to figure out how you can minimize the chance that you or one of your loved ones will ever be in the path of one of these pitiless mobs.  Losing your home or business is bad enough.  But to be battered and possibly killed by this inhuman buzz saw is something that should not be left to chance.

Make sure you live where the government has more concern for law-abiding citizens than for the mob.  If it doesn’t, then move to where it does.  Vote for President Trump in November.  Make sure your friends go out and vote for him too.  If you are able, donate to President Trump’s re-election committee.  If you are able, donate to the election funds of any Republicans that you know to be reliable.

Lots of people say boycott those who support our enemies.  I guess I agree with that .  But more importantly support the businesses and interests of people on our side, especially on the local level.  Find like minded people where you live and spend time around them.  It’s good for morale and gives opportunities for local actions that wouldn’t seem possible for you alone.  Start up a social club or activity with people from our side and grow it.

And while you’re at it, leave a comment on this post.  It can be approving or disapproving.  Feedback is welcome.  Constructive criticism is especially welcome.  If you like what I write tell a friend.  If you especially like an article put up a link to it on your webpage or blog.

There’s plenty we can all do and all of it has a positive effect.  Okay, that’s enough cheerleading.  Enjoy the weekend.
