Biden’s Jan 19th Press Conference – A Study in Incoherent Mumbling Lies

I took another crack at Dementia Joe’s press conference.  I felt I owed it to the readers to try and watch this thing.  Putting aside mendacity and just concentrating on the cognitive abilities of Biden, I was interested to see just how hard it was for him to answer questions.  And what it comes down to is verbal deterioration.  In most cases he couldn’t remember a relatively simple word and therefore had to string together one syllable words to approximate the meaning.  For instance, at one point Bozo is talking about inflation in meat prices and he was trying to say that three or four dominant producers had formed a cartel and that increasing competition was necessary to avoid price fixing.  But he just couldn’t think of the word “competition.”  The consequence of this kind of cognitive decline is that he talked for almost two and a half hours but barely got out enough information for a normal one-hour press conference.  It’s painful to have to listen to.  And probably convinced anyone under the age of eighty that Biden is senile.

With respect to accuracy, most of the introductory remarks were Joe claiming that he had accomplished so much already that the voters must be trying to catch their breath in astonishment at his achievements.  Apparently the bi-partisan infrastructure and COVID welfare payments were not only incredibly expensive but also critical for the national happiness.  What he can’t explain is why, if all that is true, his approval rating is tanking harder than the Titanic.  So then some of the less sycophantic reporters started asking him about some of those things.  Inflation.  Well, Joe let us know that inflation was just the supply chain problem.  Computer chips in China not available for Ford and Chevy.  No problem!  Joe’s already taking care of that.  Well, no, not yet, but there’s a bill in the House that talks about somehow rebuilding the extremely expensive and very long lead processing pants that build computer chips right here in the United States.  And just talking about it or even enacting legislation will get those plants financed and designed and built in, what?  Five years?

As for gas prices, why, he’s all over that.  He tapped the strategic reserve and brought down the price by a dime for about three weeks.  Who could ask for more than that?  After all, these things are hard!  Hard!  But he is looking for a way to send more natural gas to Europe so that makes us feel better, right?

And the price of food.  Well, we know it’s those lousy meat merchants of death gouging the consumer.  I mean just because their energy costs for refrigeration have also gone through the roof and transportation costs have doubled how could it not be their fault?  Joe will threaten them and who knows it might do something.  Probably force them out of business but, hey, beef’s bad for you anyway.  Just like gasoline and heating oil.  So, stop complaining, you’re just lucky to have good old Joe looking out for your interests and making this economy hum!

Man, that was embarrassing.  Even the most in-the-tank reporters for the Dems were squirming trying to be polite about sinking poll numbers and his string of disasters.  Well, watching a lot of this thing was strangely familiar.  It was like listening to those stem-winders that the geriatric leaders of the Soviet Union or Cuba used to give to their starving people.  All about how the glorious leader was achieving unparalleled success and the people were happy and prosperous.  Hopefully I won’t have to watch another one.

Joe’s in a footrace between his sinking poll numbers and his fading cerebral cortex.  It’s anyone’s guess which will fail first.

20JAN2022 – OCF Update – This’N’That

Today I intend to mail off my old camera for sale.  I feel a little disloyal for casting it away but I have had it for over four years and the trade up in capability is well justified.  But it’s funny how mechanical devices can become like old friends.  I’ve gotten e-mails from people who, after seeing the classic car photos of the day, wrote about some memories of their favorite old car.  It’s almost like there’s a symbiosis between our machines and us.

But it’s got to go and so that’s that.  The main problem is that it’s snowing again so I’ll first have to clear a path so I can drive to the post office.  This snowing every other day is a royal pain but at least a familiar one.  It gives me an additional reason for hating New England.

Last night I headed out to attend the monthly Dunwich Republican Committee meeting and when I got to the town hall I found out the meeting had been cancelled.  No announcement, no nothing.  And the building custodian shows up at the door wearing a face mask and so now they’ve brought those stupid things back.  When he sees I’m not wearing a mask he hands me a stack of R-95 masks and tells me how great they are.  I thought of saying something sarcastic and then thought, “The poor guy is only doing his job.  It’s not his fault he lives in a mental asylum.”

The battle to repair the heating system is (seemingly) headed for the final chapter.  After the last burst of activity the system worked without failure for a full week.  Then it developed a new failure mode.  This time the system would fail to restart after it cycled off on high loop temperature.  Because no failure code and hard lockout occurred this apparently proved that the problem is indeed in the power venter.  Now a crack team of technicians will descend on the compound in the next day or two and replace the power venter and order will be restored to my heating system.  But somehow it reminds me of that scene in 2001: A Space Odyssey where HAL 9000 declares that a component on the external surface of the spaceship will fail and must be replaced.  I feel like I’m being lured into some horrible conspiracy where I’ll discover that a maniacal mechanical device is attempting to finish me off to further a bureaucratic initiative that is “for my own good.”

After snow removal and mailing off the camera I really have to do some photo work.  I’m out of photos again and must put in the time for the post-processing.

I watched some of Dementia Joe’s press conference yesterday.  After a very few minutes I had to turn it off.  His endless lies and play acting are really hard to stomach.  I read an article that discussed the unlikelihood that after the current Supreme Court session the Dems will try again to get Justice Breyer to retire so they can nominate Kamala Harris to the Court.  Amusingly it would require Harris to vote for herself to get it passed.  Also it would leave the Senate deadlocked until a new Vice President was installed and that might prevent one from being installed at all.  So theoretically, if Dementia Joe dropped dead, the future Republican Speaker of the House would then succeed to the presidency.  So if Harris leaves the VP spot this year maybe Trump will run for congress just to be able to become Republican Speaker of the House just in case Biden drops dead.  How’s that for 4D chess nonsense?  The article was especially amusing because of how openly it disparaged the intelligence of both Harris and Justice Sotomayor.

Well, gotta go make the donuts.  I’ll be back later with more interesting things.

The Silver Lining to the Hell We’re Going Through

Compared to the horrors of World War II something like the COVID-19 pandemic is trivial.  And compared to the dislocations of the Great Depressions some might think the slow-motion erosion of wealth in the United States over the last fifty years is easier to escape.  I won’t dispute these judgements.  But nothing this country has endured previously has ever destroyed the morale of its people the way the ascendant cultural Marxist attacks on the identity of traditional Americans has.  The combined power and reach of the educational, cultural, commercial, legal, financial and informational institutions have combined to demean and harm anyone who doesn’t grovel before the perverse and dishonest narrative that the Left compels everyone to acknowledge as truth.

And even though we are starting to fight back, the battle is so lopsidedly in their favor that we will continue to lose the majority of battles for the foreseeable future.  They own all of the high ground.  We barely have some bunkers in no-man’s land.  They will continue to punish with impunity anyone who defies them in any meaningful way.

But what they’ve lost is credibility.  No one sane believes what they are saying anymore.

I never really thought deeply about the biblical quote “The truth shall set you free.”  As a child I thought it was a trap to get me to ‘fess up when I had done something wrong.  Well, that had more to say about my questionable morals than about scripture.

But now I understand.  The truth shall set you free is another way of saying “I was blind but now I see.”  When we base our actions on inaccurate information, we may fail to escape from the problems that those lies are propagating.  Knowing the truth sets you free from the circle of failure that lies perpetuate.  An example from my life was finally realizing that the Republican establishment wasn’t trying to defend conservative life.  Once I saw that truth everything that had been puzzling about the political situation in the United States made perfect sense.  Suddenly I saw that some whom I had assumed were friends were really enemies and some whom I assumed were crazy turned out to be sane and actually wise.

Now, in the last five or six years the Trump revolution has turbo-charged the Left into a manic assault on all things normal.  All the masks have dropped off and all on the Left have shown their true colors.  And there is the silver lining.  Even the dense and even the stupid can now see clearly that the Left is openly attacking normalcy with the intention of replacing it completely with perversion, dysfunction and madness.

This clarity finally makes it possible to stop losing ground and slowly make progress.  Even starting from bunkers in no-man’s land we can begin to improve our positions and reclaim territory.  And most importantly we can organize friends and shun our enemies.  Both are important.  Helping friends is critical when we are so weak and disorganized.  But as we get better organized and bigger, we can start to do damage to our enemies.  Losing our business will begin to hurt our enemies more and more as time goes on.

So, there’s the silver lining.  The truth shall set us free.  And from my point of view, it already has.

Maybe the Stupid Party Has Finally Learned Something

This week the Senate will be debating the plan to eliminate the filibuster.  And this was preceded by Dementia Joe’s inflammatory belch of noxious fumes called a speech in Atlanta.  In that speech he resurrected Jim Crow and Bull Connor in front of a crowd of black college students who have grandparents who barely remember what those terms refer to.

This law that would enshrine voter fraud in America is being presented as the only way to save us from Ku Klux Klansmen riding horses through our towns and burning crosses on the White House lawn.  And normally all that jazz would scare the likes of Mitch McConnell and Mitt Romney into subservient obedience.  But it hasn’t.  In fact, it hasn’t even scared two Democrat senators, Sinema and Manchin, into knuckling under.  Arizona and West Virginia aren’t blue states.  Their constituencies aren’t rallying around the MLK Day blackmail plot.  They literally don’t believe the nonsense being spouted and have no desire to force their senators to back it either.

Is it possible that the Stupid Party has learned something?  Can it be that those cowardly imbeciles that run the GOP have gotten it through their thick skulls that people of normal intelligence do not trust the mainstream media and after 2020 certainly don’t trust Joe Biden and the Democrats to protect voting integrity?  The answer may be yes.

My explanation for why idiots could be smartening up is that it’s now plain even to idiots that the country is revolting against the gaslighting they’ve been enduring since the George Floyd riots began.  Even the stupidest people can’t ignore the reality of a mob burning down their downtown area.  And if you can see the truth and at the same time hear the lies from CNN and MSNBC and the three networks then even an idiot will figure out that he is being lied to.

So finally, we’ve reached a place where even total morons can effectively represent us in Congress at least for the moment.  The question is have they gotten any less stupid or is this just the lowest common denominator of political response, the equivalent of having a pulse.  My guess is they’re still just as stupid as ever but their opponents have been forced in the last couple of years to do insane things and that showcases the superiority of the stupid over the insane.  The insane will burn down their own cities.  The stupid will limit themselves to applauding the burning.  Admittedly it’s not a great advantage but enough to help them win the day.  And our party will always be the stupid party.  What we have to hope is that we will recognize a smart and courageous man if he appears and put him in a position to lead the stupid party by the nose to do some good despite themselves.

This year, if we’re lucky, will see the Democrats frustrated in their attempt to change the narrative away from their long list of failures.  If they lose the Senate along with the House, the GOP can limit the damage that Biden can do.  They can even shut down the judicial appointments he might otherwise make.  And who knows, maybe they’ll decide to impeach him over the Hunter Biden scandals.  Hey, that would be fun.  Maybe they’re smart enough to do that.

Another Lib Journalist Wakes Up

This time it’s a journalist at Canada’s CBC named Tara Henley who couldn’t stand the dishonesty any longer.  When leftists can’t take the cognitive dissonance you know we’re close to the tipping point.  Of course I also find myself thinking, “It’s too bad you couldn’t see that this was the logical outcome of the nonsense you believe in.  But it’s not like I think these are reliable allies anyway.  These are just canaries in the coal mine showing that the Left has poisoned their own environment beyond what even their own partisans are willing to ignore.  It’s just the slightly less insane rats abandoning ship.

17JAN2022 – OCF Update – Gaia Punishes Me Again

So we hit the jackpot today.  Four inches of snow followed by a half inch of rain overnight.  That makes the slop as heavy as possible and plus you’re standing in freezing water.  But I meant every bad thing I said about Gaia and don’t take anything back.  I’ll clean up this slop and be back with my shoulder to the wheel of OCF as soon a possible.

As an aside, I watched Dementia Joe’s speech down in Atlanta.  He really is a lying moron.  But his voters are right there at his level of dishonesty and stupidity.  So his strategy is probably sound such as it is.  Problem for him is the polls show the number of voters on his side has shrunk quite a bit.  Sucks being him.

FBI Batting a 1000 on Manufactured Threats, Batting 0 on Real Terrorist Attacks

Sharyl Attkisson details the litany of Muslim extremists that the FBI knew of but failed to stop from mass murdering Americans.  Then she speaks to a Congressional investigator who shows that the culture rewards manufacturing cases against right-wing targets but ignores actual Muslim, Antifa and BLM attackers.

Maybe someday a president will fire every FBI manager from top to bottom for incompetence and malfeasance.  Just a thought.

Howie Carr Hilariously Kicks Marilyn Mosby Whiles She’s Down

With her Massachusetts roots Howie delights in twisting the knife in recently indicted Baltimore prosecutor Marilyn Mosby to hilarious effect.  Mosby you might remember was the genius who indicted the cops transporting Freddie Gray to jail in 2015 and helped to provoke the BLM violence that flared up in all the major cities and caused the shooting deaths of several policemen.

In the article Carr goes through all the Democrat politicians and prosecutors involved in Mosby’s legal troubles but relishes her decision to blame Donald Trump as the moving force behind her indictment.

“It’s a federal rap, and the U.S. attorney is a Black Democrat, a former Maryland legislator who works for a rabid partisan Democrat named Merrick Garland, who works for Dementia Joe Biden, who is … a Democrat.

But guess who this loyal Democrat is blaming for her alleged sticky fingers?

“Donald Trump called for me to be prosecuted several years ago,” she thundered on Friday, “and I fought back against his administration.”

Huh? Madam, are you saying that the same DOJ that spent years trying to frame POTUS on utterly bogus charges has now indicted you – at the behest of this very same guy the G-men were willing to commit felonies against in order to railroad him into prison?

Is there anything Donald Trump can’t do? Is there any bad act anywhere anytime that cannot be blamed on Orange Man Bad?”

Howie Carr is one of only a handful of normal journalists in the People’s Republic of Massachusetts.  I always enjoy Howie’s knife jobs on these crooks.  He despises grifters and outright criminals and Mosby is both.  Bravo Mr. Carr.
