25AUG2019 – American Greatness Post of the Day – Thomas Farnan’s Trump vs. the Stepford Wife Republicans

I love this post.  Anytime George H. W. Bush, John McCain, Mitt Romney, Paul Ryan and Peggy Noonan all cruelly get the business in one place count me as a fan.

It’s just full of the kind of venom these phonies deserve in spades.  Read it and enjoy.

When Real Life Gets Weirder than Conspiracy Theories

Over at Conservative Treehouse, Sundance has a post on a leftover from the Mueller investigation that has a Russian Mata Hari who has been in solitary confinement because she is part of the Mueller cover-up operation and a CEO who was dating her resigning from the company he founded in order to get in front of the story that he is giving to the DOJ about these past hijinks.

Details Behind Patrick Byrne Allegations of FBI “Political Espionage”…

There’s no end to this stuff.

The Democrat Primary Field – Part 2 – Elizabeth Warren

The Democrat Primary Field – Part 1 – Joe Biden

Being a transplant to New England I have sadly had a ringside seat for the Fauxcahantas, Liarwatha, Granny Clampett, Elizabeth Warren show.  And it has been a spectacle like few others.  But Massachusetts being Massachusetts even the spectacle of Snow White claiming to be Pocahontas did not deny her election to the United States Senate from the Bay State.  They do love their radicals.

Warren is actually the brain behind Obama’s famous “you didn’t build that” assault on entrepreneurs.  He lifted it wholly from a speech she gave in Andover Massachusetts that essentially said that every businessman used the roads and infrastructure that was paid for by all the citizens of the country. Therefore, his ownership of his own business was somehow illegitimate and he should have to pay through the nose to keep a part of what was his.  Her platform is tax the rich.  Free college, free stuff and debt forgiveness.  She’s basically Bernie in a pantsuit.

As communists go, she’s relatively glib.  She can string together sentences that sound reasonably coherent but when she gets started on one of her rants, she gets this manic look in her beady little eyes and it’s clear that she’s actually a pretty dangerous lunatic.  Still compared to the gibbering of Corey Booker or the whining of Kamala Harris or even the demented yammering of Biden she seems almost sane.  So, for that reason, and because of the belief that suburban white women will vote for her in droves many on the right fear her candidacy.  Now I don’t think she’ll get the nomination.  But I wish she would.  Why?  For the sheer joy of watching President Trump call her Fauxcahantas and Liarwatha and Chief Full of Bull.  Can you imagine?  I mean, I think there’s an outside chance she’ll stroke out if he starts laughing at her during a debate.  Think of the tweets.  Think of the rallies.  There would be endless war whoops and memes of Warren’s face on Cigar Store Indians and Indian Head Nickels and her on the warpath.  It’ll be heap big fun.

And Warren’s presidential run has been great for her most loyal torturer in chief Howie Carr.  He is a columnist for the Boston Herald and now that Whitey Bulger is dead “the Fake Indian” as he calls her is his favorite target.  Here’s his latest taunt.

So that’s Fauxcahantas.  She made her career by convincing Harvard Law that she was a lily-white woman of color.  Now she has to convince democrat voters that she can get Americans to believe that she’ll hand them over all the wampum they deserve.  Ugh.

The Democrat Primary Field – Part 1 – Joe Biden

Looking at the field in the Democratic 2020 Presidential Primary it’s remarkable to see just how many of these people are demonstrably unhinged.  And I’m looking beyond Marianne Williamson and Corey Booker who are beyond the pale when it comes to eccentricity.  But right now, I’d like to start with the front runner, Creepy Uncle Joe Biden.

First off, with all the gaffes and dead air during the debates is there any doubt that Joe has lost more than a step or two off his fighting prime?  If elected he would be older than Reagan was when he stepped down in 1989.  And that is definitely the least of his problems.

Joe Biden is captured on film during official government proceedings sidling up behind women, grabbing their shoulders and sniffing their hair, or putting his hands on their ribcages just slightly below their breasts.  Now, definitely, in the reign of Caligula this kind of behavior would have been down right benign from a comparative psychosexual perspective.  But today, unless you’re a character in an FBI behavioral science procedural drama you’re supposed to keep your hands off the other homo sapiens you’re not married to.  What creepy fetishistic process is going on in his head when he does these kinds of things in front of cameras?  Does he think he’s invisible or above the scrutiny of observers?  Are we supposed to think that he’s just that over enthusiastic old uncle who likes to hug everybody but doesn’t mean anything by it?  What must it have been like in the Biden home around Christmas time with all the young girl relatives doing a duck and cover every time they heard slipper-shod footsteps closing in from behind?  The mind boggles.

Joe has been a strange duck since always.  Back in 1988 when he ran for President the first time he was hounded by multiple charges of plagiarism and inaccurate statements about his academic record and forced to withdraw.  Now admittedly some of this was because that dweeb Dukakis was playing lawyer ball against his rivals.  But let’s face it, lying about your college record isn’t very smart.  Then there’s the hair plugs.  Anyway, Joe’s whole career is littered with lies, exaggeration and braggadocio but without any actual accomplishments.  In a way he is the perfect Democrat candidate.

But now Joe has to win the 2020 nomination and Joe’s dinosaur version of Democrat candidacy doesn’t mesh with the woke, #metoo, progressive politics.  He’s been attacked by Kamala Harris for working with the Southern Democrats back in the 1970s.  She accused him of trying to keep young Kamala from being bussed back in California.  And Corey Booker accused Joe’s 1990s crime bill of incarcerating the entire population of Newark, New Jersey.  Poor Joe.

Initially Joe had been dialing back his aggression toward his fellow candidates because of the politically correct requirements of an old white male Democrat defending himself from the diversity scrum that the Democrat debates have turned into lately.  Because of this, Joe has somewhat become a punching bag for the likes of Kamala Harris and Corey Booker.  But finally, he seems to have escaped from this situation and is now fighting back with such inspired zingers as, “Watch out kid!” and “Go easy on me kid!”  The interesting thing about the race is that Joe’s standing in the polls really hasn’t been lowered very much at all from the heavy pounding he took in the first and second debates.  According to the news reports on television and the newspapers Joe was slaughtered in each of those debates and should have plummeted precipitously in the polls from all these beatings.  But there he still stands, way ahead of his opponents.  Apparently, the voters recognize that he has promised the fewest impossible things and therefore is the least unelectable Democrat in the general election.  And as his numbers remain above theirs, the lowest tier candidates will begin the depressing thought process of when to pull the plug on their hopeless pursuit of the nomination.  In fact, former Colorado Governor Hickenlooper and California Representative Swalwell have already pulled the plug and now will join the ranks of bitter losers mumbling “2024” under their breaths and counting up the money they managed to add to their war chests this year.

Does Joe have access to the industrial strength fix that was “in” when Hillary was running against Bernie and the Bros?  That’s the million-dollar question.  Has Obama anointed Joe?  Seemingly not.  All the indications are that Obama is keeping his options open.  He probably knows that Joe is not as inspiring to the Hopey/Changey crowd as he was.  But even slipping into imbecility and marked with the sign of Cain, Creepy Joe should be able to beat Liarwatha and the rest of the midgets.  After all, each of them has incredible negatives too.  Granny Warren was a pretend Cherokee.  Kamala Harris slept her way to the top.  Mayor Pete was the mayor of a large town!  Corey Booker, well he’s Corey Booker.  He actually called himself Spartacus, on purpose!  Bernie is like a Commie version of Uncle Leo from the Seinfeld show.  Joe will beat these guys because he can pretend to be sane.  They can’t hide their crazy.  He’s the bull goose looney and will be the candidate.

But that’s as far as he’ll get.  The general election will be a slaughter of poor Sleepy Creepy Joe.  After all President Trump is no kid and definitely won’t go easy on Biden.  Sorry Joe.

So, here’s to you Joe, you creepy, sleepy, gropey son of a gun.  You may be nuts but you’re still the best of the bunch.  Long may you grab those shoulders and sniff that hair.

photog’s August 2019 Guide to Right-Wing Dynamics

For those of you out there who already know the ins and outs of the Right-Wing ecosystem this post won’t provide any new information except inasmuch as it provides my slant on it.  For everybody else this may provide some insights into what the various groups believe and how they relate to each other.

Over the course of several years, my understanding of the relationship between the various components of the Right-Wing has become somewhat better.  Back in 2016 the term Alt-Right was bandied about by the Media to describe almost anyone to the right of Jeb Bush and John McCain.  And for Leftists that hasn’t changed.  They use the term as a club to attack anyone who appears to be a threat to their political dominance.  But for those on the Right there is plenty of confusion about the various groups and their defining ideologies.  And that’s to be expected because actually most people aren’t really sure which group, they themselves belong to or if they even fit comfortably into one of the boxes that have simple labels.  Terms like Dissident Right and White Nationalism sound strange and threatening to regular people who have always just heard labels like Democrat and Republican or Liberal and Conservative.  But it is important to know who’s out there and what they believe and how they influence the larger community of people who don’t believe in the Left-Wing narrative.

As ever, the largest and the least self-aware component of the Non-Left-Wing are the NORMIES.  They are regular schlubs who go to work and raise their kids and pay their taxes and think of themselves as regular Americans who aren’t ideological.  They probably think that Mitt Romney must be pretty conservative because he’s a Mormon and because he said he was “extremely conservative” back when he was running for president in 2012.  Basically, these folks are so busy trying to live their lives that they aren’t even aware that the country has drifted enormously to the left over the course of their adult lives.  And when they do realize what has happened a lot of them are so apathetic that if asked whether it is even possible to reverse the changes that have taken place, they’d say no.  Some of these people are unreachable.  They are largely inert and the most you can hope for is that they’ll drift to the right if the country moves in that direction.  But they are also the target group for recruitment by the next two groups.

Next up are the AWAKENED NORMIES.  I fall into this class.  These are the normies who looked up one day and realized that the country had been taken over by Anti-Americans with the willing participation of the establishment Republicans and that there existed a Rebellion that was actively resisting this Anti-American establishment.  These are the people who jumped on board the Trump band wagon when it became clear that he was the only candidate who wouldn’t just give us more of the same Leftist result that we had been seeing from every politician after Ronald Reagan.  Most of these awakened normies are civic nationalists who trusted in the tenets that were espoused in school and in the media when we were kids back a generation ago and thought that what needed to be done was return to the old ways of looking at things and everything else would straighten itself out.  Now they realize that the only way to fight identity politics is with identity politics.  It has been made painfully clear to us that we have been made the fall guys for the rest of America and the only way we are going to succeed is to level the playing field.  We’ll have to stand up for our own rights because no one else, including our so-called representatives, is willing to.

Beyond the awakened are the RADICALIZED.  There are several groups in this category.  These folks have decided that the United States is broken and can’t be fixed.  Among these folks are groups that describe themselves as Dissident Right, Alt-Right, White Nationalists and other things.  Many of these folks espouse a belief called human biodiversity.  According to this way of looking at things, racial differences in intelligence will preclude the United States from functioning as it has in the past once the fraction of the population descended from Europeans falls below some unspecified point.  In addition, they feel that once political control no longer resides among the European descendants the identity politics practiced by the Democrat party will make life for the European descendants intolerable.

In general, these radicalized folks assume that trying to continue on in the old way is futile and what needs to be done first is bring the European descended population together into an identity group that can coordinate its efforts to protect its interests.  Where these groups differ is what is seen by each as the end state of this strategy.

The Alt-Right and other White Nationalists envision some white ethno-state occupying some proportion of the present geographical territory of the United States alongside other successor states populated by the other ethnic groups.

The Dissident Right seems to contain more moderate individuals who envision the outcome involving various state governments adopting laws that diverge from the current Leftist trajectory.  For instance, some of the more conservative southern states are already challenging the Roe v. Wade orthodoxy by passing abortion restrictions that eventually will be challenged by federal courts.  What the Dissident Right foresees is the day when a state government will ignore the decision of a Federal or Supreme Court decision that it feels is intolerable. At that point the idea is that ignoring the Federal decision will trigger the beginning of a loosening of the United States.  And in a way we are already seeing this.  Federal law prohibits the ownership or use of marijuana.  But several states have legalized it.  And the example of Sanctuary Cities flouting the action of federal ICE enforcement is especially flagrant.  With these precedents it becomes easier to imagine the federal government ignoring challenges from the Right at the state or regional level if they institute policies that are popular in those places.

What I’ve left out of this spectrum are groups like Neoconservatives, libertarians and establishment Republicans who have no interest in what I would call the normal social issues.  None of these groups care a whit if progressives want to put three-year-olds in gender reassignment programs or allow post birth abortion as the law of the land.  If any of these groups ever agree with the agenda of the actual Right-Wing it will be, as in the words of the fictional person disclaimer, “purely coincidental.”

As stated above I fall into the middle group.  I’m in between the sleepwalkers and the bomb-throwers.  I am aware of both and I am formulating here how I interact with each of them.  First of all, the thing to know about the normies is they can’t teach you much.  They’re like your younger siblings.  You’ve been where they are now but they don’t know what you know.  The ZMan (a bad thinker in the Dissident Right) makes the analogy of a river.  Those who have crossed over know both sides but those who haven’t only know their side.  Getting them to cross over is the challenge.  Of course, his river leads to the Dissident Right.  I’m just talking about what is needed to wake up the sleepwalkers.  But it’s still a transition.  It requires them to discover that something that they thought was true is false.  For me it was learning that the Republican establishment was the controlled opposition.  That in exchange for the perks of office they would put up a sham resistance to the Progressives but always lose.  As has been often pointed out they are the Washington Generals of American politics.  So that is the primary mission for the awakened; to rouse the sleepwalkers.  Because in a democracy numbers are everything and the sleepwalkers are where the numbers are.  So with the normies you look to open their eyes to something that will shock them out of their coma.  Show them something like the “evolving” conservative opinion on illegal immigration.  That should do it.

But what is our relationship with the radicalized groups?  Well, it is varied.  For those who are already foaming at the mouth and beating the drum for fire fights in the street I believe the correct stance is to keep your distance.  As has been noted elsewhere, often the most extreme groups are really mostly FBI agents looking for fools to show themselves as madmen.  But by the same token it’s not my job to police these groups.  Let the Left own that.  Punching right is a slippery slope.

For the less extreme groups it’s extremely useful to see what they have to say.  Often much of what they believe is quite true and in fact these groups were the first to notice and figure out the tactics and goals of the Left and their stooges in the Republican establishment.  Typically, with these groups it’s the conclusions they draw for how all this will end up that are the points of disagreement with the awakened civic nationalists.  From my point of view, they’ve thrown the baby out with the bath water and have gone too far.  So, reading their essays is usually a case of nodding in agreement for the first two thirds of the document and then grimacing when it gets to the bitter end.  But reading that two thirds is very valuable.  For instance, you don’t have to be hoping to divvy up the United States into bite sized chunks to realize that the way to address the anti-white rhetoric of the Progressives is to get these people being libeled to band together and use their clout to put a stop to these attacks.  The Dissident Right is known for the motto “You’re not going to vote your way out of this.”  But if you look at the fragmentation on the Left it isn’t far-fetched to imagine that coalitions can be built to make common cause against lots of Leftist policies that are extremely unpopular.  More than anything it’s a matter of awareness of how gaslighting by the Left and their allies in the controlled opposition has been used to cow the normies over things like illegal immigration, job outsourcing and LGBTQ issues.  When you stop assuming it’s a lost cause you have a chance to win.

So, my policy is to read the more moderate radicals and glean what they know but withhold judgement on their conclusions.  After all, if they’re right then all that they say will come to pass.  And knowing the why and how will leave me in a position to respond to the situation.  But if the awakened population is able to assert themselves to the point where society returns to the normal behaviors that we expect in the United States then that would certainly be a better outcome in my opinion.

After all the fact that human beings are not identical individuals either in intelligence or any other characteristic is pretty obvious.  And even if some groups differ markedly from others that is no reason to assume that they can’t each cooperate in a heterogeneous society.  After all I’m no super genius but I can work with people who are both smarter and dumber than I am.  From my experience what needs to stop is the Leftist practice of trying to blame every difference in outcomes on racism or sexism or any other -ism they care to invent.  If a 4’ 11” woman can’t carry an eighty-pound pack of critical gear during the training exercises for the Navy Seals the solution isn’t to drop the requirement down to ten pounds so that she can qualify.  That’s the madness that has gotten us here.  But neither do I think that fixing this requires the balkanization of the United States.  It requires some honesty, courage and the willingness to say no to the insane and their dishonest enablers.

So that’s the latest installment in my voyage through the stormy seas of non-Leftist thought.  As ever, it’s confusing, aggravating and uncertain but without a doubt we’ve made significant progress in the last three years.  More and more people know Jeb Bush and Mitt Romney work for the Progressives and Donald Trump saved them from a fate worse than death, Hillary.  Long live the revolution and keep the faith baby.

Larry Correia and the Facebook Trolls

Larry is the author of some very fun urban and high fantasy (e. g., the Monster Hunter books) and the man who originated the Sad Puppy insurgency.  Because of the latter, the whole science fiction SJW troop hates him with a burning passion.  So every now and then they erupt in a spasm of spite.  So they’ve been messing with his Facebook page by reporting imaginary violations.  Larry, being the imaginative type came up with a game to mock this harassment and, of course, was banned again for the imaginary stuff too.  It’s kind of complicated but if you’ve following the Sad Puppy saga for as long as I have you might get a chuckle.

Banned Again. Facebook Gets Even Dumber, Part III: The Saga Continues

Fredo Balks

Watching the video of Chris Cuomo, I was sort of sad to see him demeaned.  I mean anyone who grows up in a large family knows that sibling rivalry and competition in an intellectual environment is stressful.  So, the fact that Chris is sort of the lesser intellect in the Cuomo family is something that many would feel sympathy for.  Of course, the fact that he spouts poisonous lies on CNN about non-Leftists makes him a whole lot less sympathetic.  Sean Hannity was supportive of Cuomo because the incident occurred while Cuomo was out with his wife and young daughter.  This is also something that should be acknowledged.  Being a celebrity doesn’t cancel out your humanity and shouldn’t excuse even your enemies from showing decency around your loved ones.  Once again, Cuomo has never given President Trump or his family any slack when tossing insults and vilifying them about any personal issues that have nothing to do with government.  But let’s just say it’s understandable that Cuomo reacted angrily and forcefully to his heckler.

But then as ever, Cuomo pulled the race card, or slightly less effectively, the ethnicity card.  Chris threatened to throw the heckler down the stairs for what he declared was the equivalent of the “n” word for Italian Americans, “Fredo.”  Huh.

All my ancestors, going back as far as I can determine, were Italians or descendants of Italians living in the United States.  And a good proportion of these were descended from Sicilians.  And on top of that my family is from an Italian neighborhood in Brooklyn that unfortunately was steeped in awareness of the Godfather movies.  I can remember back in the 1970s car horns in my neighborhood playing a portion of the Godfather theme.  It was quite sad.  Anyway, I consider myself relatively authoritative on this subject.  “Fredo” is not an Italian American slur.  It’s a mockery of someone who isn’t the brightest bulb in a family with more accomplished individuals.  In the Godfather movies Fredo is the incompetent older brother of Michael who bumbles and fails and finally betrays the Corleones while trying to show that he isn’t a loser.

In the famous scene where Michael confronts Fredo with his betrayal you hear Fredo defend his own actions by blaming everyone else for demeaning him.  He’s the older brother who whose pride has been wounded.

“I can handle things! I’m smart! Not like everybody says… like dumb… I’m smart and I want respect!”

Okay, so Chris Cuomo isn’t exactly Fredo.  He’s got a good paying job at CNN and all the material success associated with being part of a family that has had two governors of New York State in just two generations of the family.  Not bad.  So why does being called Fredo sting so badly?  Well, to be totally honest if you’ve ever watched any of his work on CNN, he does appear sometimes to be an idiot.  And again, in a highly competitive family maybe some unkind comparisons were made by his siblings or parents.  Who knows?  But the most important consideration is noting that no matter what, when a Leftist is attacked his first instinct is to call his attacker a racist.  Poor Fredo.  Well at least Andrew hasn’t sent him out on the lake to sleep with the fish.

More Trouble for Google

Hat tip to Vox Day for excerpting an exciting article by Sara Carter.  It seems another Google insider has handed over almost a thousand pages of documents to the DOJ exposing how the company’s algorithms discriminate against conservative entities.  This directly contradicts testimony made in front of Congress by Google upper management.  Apparently Project Veritas is going to reveal the former insider’s identity today.  Things are definitely moving in the right direction.  I wonder if there is any limit on the size of the fine that can be levied against Google.  ONE TRILLION DOLLARS !!!!!  sounds about right.  Full disclosure, I was holding my pinky at the corner of my mouth as I typed that.  Eat your heart out Dr. Evil.

Seriously, it doesn’t appear that the DOJ is going to need much more evidence to move forward.  It’s a matter of whether they have the will.  We shall see.

It’s Time for the Normal American Civil Rights Act of 2020

In 1964 the United States Congress and President enacted laws that made discrimination against individuals in the Unites States of America on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, or national origin illegal.  This supposedly protected everyone against unequal application of voter registration requirements, racial segregation in schools, employment, and public accommodations.

Over the years additional laws have extended the protected classes and added enormously to the federal government’s authority to define obedience to these laws and punish supposed disobedience.  Also, the government has introduced the concept of affirmative action to allow the government to abandon these requirements and practice discrimination along the same categories; race, color, sex; when it suits its wishes.  Also, the government often will play fast and loose if one protected class is pitted against another.  For instance, religious protection has lately often been thrown to the wolves when an LGBTQ case is involved.

What seems clear to me is that it’s time to add another protected class to the constellation of aggrieved groups; Normal Americans.  Think of the actions that have been taken recently by social media, internet commerce companies, even banks and run of the mill Fortune 500 companies.  They can quite literally ban you from the internet, shut down your bank account and fire you from your job just for claiming that men and women are not the same thing.  You can be doxxed, harassed, even assaulted for holding plain old-fashioned beliefs about what is normal sexual and moral behavior.  You can be labelled a bigot, racist, Nazi or terrorist for stating that Thomas Jefferson was a great American or that the Betsy Ross flag is a patriotic symbol of American history.

So, I’ll define Normal Americanism as any belief that was legal according to the U. S. Federal government in 1980.  I’m not even trying to criminalize behaviors or actions that became legal after that point.  All I’m doing is protecting the rights of people who just want to live the way the normal inhabitants of this country took for granted back before we gave veto power to social Justice Warriors and their Tech Billionaire enablers

It’s obvious to anyone who isn’t deeply prejudiced against normal people that this group is being systematically oppressed by a large and powerful coalition of enemies.  And it seems to me that it’s time for affirmative action to be introduced to alleviate the worst excesses of this scourge.  As an example, it would seem fitting that the Boards of Directors of Google, Facebook and Twitter should be tripled in size and all the new members should be selected by Steve Bannon.  Every college should be monitored for discriminatory behavior against students who espouse religious beliefs that don’t align with LGBTQ orthodoxy.  Antifa needs to be handled by the FBI under the RICO laws, its offenders prosecuted and its sponsors bankrupted.

And I will show just how welcoming I am of diversity.  This status, Normal American covers any and all people who are being attacked for beliefs that even ten years ago would be considered sane and respectable.  So if you’re being attacked because you’re a black community leader who believes illegal aliens take jobs from underprivileged kids or a radical lesbian feminist who thinks “trans-women” are men taking advantage of a loophole to rob women of their ability to compete in sports or a Latino Catholic who is horrified that his kindergarten age son will be read to by a drag queen, you are covered under the Normal American Civil Rights Act.

Sure, all these scenarios should already be protected under freedom of speech or Title IX or freedom of religion under the 1964 law but obviously the only way to get action is to obtain majorities in Congress, and the Supreme Court (or in the case of the Supreme Court, supermajorities) and employ the same tactics today that were used in the 1960s and 1970s.  This would require the federal government to deploy legal challenges to any state and local jurisdictions that resisted the federal law and even go as far as ordering troops to enforce statutes that were ignored locally.

With respect to this latter action I can envision troops being sent to Portland to rein in the excesses of Antifa when the local government shirks its responsibilities.  In fact, suing Portland to compel equal treatment would be a wonderful exercise of such a Civil Rights Act.

So, obviously I’m being facetious.  I don’t want even more unconstitutional law, I want less.

What I’m saying is it’s time for the Federal government in the persons of the Justice Department and the Supreme Court to finally put an end to all unconstitutional laws at the federal, state and local level that deny normal Americans their rights.  How many times does the same wedding baker have to get the Supreme Court to rule in his favor before Colorado’s kangaroo court is shut down by federal law?  How many times does Google or Facebook or Twitter get to shut down or hamper a conservative entity for an action that it would ignore if a liberal entity acted equivalently?  Maybe it will take one additional SCOTUS conservative to finally get us off the dime.  But it’s high time.

The Republicans ought to run on this issue.  They should say they’ll eliminate as many unconstitutional laws as they can find.  They’d win back the House and they’d get some respect, which right now they are sorely lacking.  President Trump has already done quite a bit with his SCOTUS nominations.  If he gets his Justice and Commerce departments to investigate Silicon Valley, it won’t exactly be a Civil Rights Act but he’ll be doing everyone a big favor.  Let’s hope 2019 ends with some pain for the Left.  They deserve it for a change.

07AUG2019 – American Greatness Post of the Day – Igniting Civil War by Anthony Codevilla

Codevilla walks us through the predictable script that bloody civil wars have taken from Corcyra in Ancient Greece all the way up to the Spanish Civil War of the 1930s.  We’ve taken the first steps.  Hopefully we can walk back to sanity.  Very good read.
