Sundance at the CTH says the amount of false information circulating makes it worthwhile to see what the IG’s report actually says.
Here’s his quote.
“The Inspector General report on the FBI and DOJ action in the Clinton investigation is due out this week. In my humble opinion it is best to wait and see what discoveries are within the fact-centric report, and the confirmed underlying evidence, before wandering out into the speculative land of mirrored rabbit holes.”
Probably good advice.
If you think back to the days of the Iraq War you remember a daily media campaign of discouragement and delegitimization that was accurately described at the time as a drum beat. Newscasters at CBS, CNN and other outlets kept up a daily count of casualties, atrocities and protests. Any bad news, no matter how random was heaped on top of the war news and spun as further proof of the Bush incompetence. When a hurricane hit New Orleans and flooding and loss of life occurred due to the incompetence of the Democrat mayor it was hammered at continuously as the racist agenda of George Bush. Completely fabricated stories of bodies floating along main streets and violent acts of desperation were sprinkled in the daily news and pointed to as proof of the apocalypse engulfing America.
This drum beat was not the primary cause of the Democrat electoral success in 2006 and 2008 but it was the intensifier that made the victory so complete. And it shows you that the media has a basic strategy for intensifying the effect of a news story. And that it is effective. At the time this was a source of great frustration for me. The ploy was so obviously false and artificial that it offended my sense of logic. After all, people weren’t that stupid and gullible. They must have been able to see they were being manipulated. Apparently, I was not the target for these messages and so I couldn’t understand their effect. But grudgingly I learned their potency.
Donald Trump is a creature of the media. He moves through it and thrives in it like a fish in water. It’s his natural element. And that is a good thing for our side. He recognizes how media works. He knows that the MSM will do the same thing to him that they did to Bush. They will conflate the Mueller probe with school shootings with rises in gasoline prices with rain on the weekend. They don’t care if there is any logic or connection. They are looking to aggravate the population any way they can.
So, what will Donald trump do? He’ll fight fire with fire. He is doing a little bit of drum beating of his own. Every day he has a tweet or two showing the dishonesty of the media and the effectiveness of his administration. And every day there are several stories coming out of the Inspector General’s investigation of the Justice Department and the House investigation into the Russia probe. And this goes on day after day after day. And every few months an FBI bigwig is fired and then there is a flurry of news about the details of how that ties into the other investigations and how this will spawn other investigations, and on and on and on. And for me this is annoying and boring and obviously, transparently contrived. And it’s effective.
So that’s why I am both aggravated and satisfied with the current state of affairs. The annoying nature of the Kabuki theater drives me insane. But the knowledge that this is exactly what is needed to both stymie the MSM methodology and also build public opinion for the eventual killing stroke allows me to agree with the strategy. But I wish I had a time machine. I’d love to wake up tomorrow and see footage of Mueller getting the bum’s rush out the back door of the Justice Department and James Comey giving testimony against Loretta Lynch to save his own hide. But my flux capacitor is in the shop so I guess I’ll just enjoy the warm weather and read a few more tweets about Robert Mueller being very unfair.
Professor Codevilla must be reading my Trump vs … parodies. But I like it and endorse President Trump to at least put the first item into action. Just don’t wait until Labor Day. Do it now.

PT – Schmoopey, Roseanne has been fired because she thought Valerie Jarrett was white and looked like an ape.
MT – But what can you do about that? ABC is the boss of her, not you Schmoopey.
PT – I know but America needs its TV Moms even the ones who are fat loudmouths. I must act and act decisively. Anyway, I need you to rally the women of America behind me. I intend to honor them in my own way. It will be huge.
MT – Schmoopey please be careful with your honoring. The women, they are a little jumpy right at the moment. Please be careful.
PT – Don’t worry I’ve got this. When I’m finished honoring them the women of America will have to admit they’ve never been honored like this before. It will make Mother’s Day look like Income Tax Day.
MT – Oh Schmoopey, that’s a lot of honoring.
PT – You bet it is. Now get in touch with the Republican wives and I’ll get in touch with the Congress to get the ball rolling.
Scene 2 – 8pm the same day; White House broadcast studio; Vice President Pence is standing off stage; President Trump is sitting behind a desk in front of the cameras; technicians and hair and make-up staff are bustling around him; The President looks into the camera and gestures to roll and the crew backs away and the broadcast begins.
PT – Good evening my fellow Americans. Tonight, I only want to speak to the women. You men get lost. Go play sports or work on your cars.
Ladies I am here to discuss a very important subject. I want to talk to you about female role models. In the last forty or so years, crackpots have tried to tell you that women should want to be doctors and lawyers and presidents. This craziness was encouraged by the Communists because they wanted to destroy the family and by extension the country. And in order to do this they flooded tv with working women. Dana Sculley, Allie McBeal, Madame Secretary, all grim career women without any prospects of love in their lives. Well, unfortunately you all fell for it. Now the country is filled with incompetent women professionals who gum up the works in the courts, hospitals and government. On top of that you’re so busy screwing up the world you haven’t had time to produce many children. And the few that you do manage to produce are abandoned to become, at best, latch key kids, and at worst, sociopaths. Let’s face it you screwed up.
But the good news is I’ve worked out a solution. The government is going to step in and replace all these Hillary Clinton clones with good wholesome maternal women, in other words, TV Moms. We’ll start by setting up a new set of cable channels that will play Leave it To Beaver, The Donna Reed Show, Make Room for Daddy, The Honeymooners, Father Knows Best, Lassie and Ozzie and Harriet twenty four/seven. For the kids we’ll also include the Flintstones and the Jetsons. Of course, we will edit any of the episodes where the gals get a little too uppity.
And that’s just the start. We’re gonna replace Susan B. Anthony and that Indian chick on the coins with real role models for women. The mint will issue coins with the likenesses of Wilma Flintstone, Betty Rubble, Jane Jetson, Alice Kramden, Donna Reed, June Cleaver and many more. And finally after I grant a presidential pardon to Roseanne Barr I will force ABC to rehire her. How will I do this you might ask. Well Disney wants to buy Newscorp. And guess who has to approve that? That’s right, the US government or in other words me. How do you think that’s going to work if they don’t rehire her? Exactly. Now I know Roseanne is a fat, trash talking, progressive loud mouth but she’s seen the light of late and I’m gonna stick by her. It’s my intention to show up on the show in a cameo appearance every week and spend a longer stint on the opener, sweeps week and the season finale. Who knows? If I can convince the First Lady to guest star maybe we can even get Roseanne to lose a little weight.
And once we’ve got you ladies back on track I intend to begin an initiative to repeal the 19th Amendment. After all you ladies were responsible for both Bill Clinton and Barack Obama. It hardly seems necessary to say more than that. But we’ll discuss that later. For now, let’s just get busy moving you out of the office and back in the kitchen. Trump out.

VPP – I would say mixed. The Wahhabist Clerics on the Saudi Council of Senior Scholars have embraced your initiative. Rachel Maddow on the other hand drove a car bomb into the gate just now.
PT – Yeah, let’s call it mixed.
The more I thought about this idea from Derbyshire’s post, the more interesting it became to me. After all, if someone like Roseanne can be fired for making a joke, why can’t public outrage be used to get some college professor or administrator fired for propagandizing our kids about “white privilege” or other such anti-white slanders. The only difference is protected status and if we get wise to ourselves we can overcome that disadvantage through sheer numbers. Think about it. If 10,000 complaints bombard the Dean’s office at a college wouldn’t that make a lovely impression on the board of Trustees and the President of the University.
But the bigger point is that Anti-Anti-White avoids the stigma of White Nationalism. You aren’t trying to organize whites as an identity group. You are fighting against an unjust practice, anti-white bias. Theoretically people of other races should be sympathetic to the cause and could be added to the movement. In reality they won’t. But that’s beside the point and in fact will be one of the advantages. It will highlight that identitarian movements are zero sum games.
Once people start to see how much of the system is rigged against them , it’s only a small step to considering how they can maximize their standing in this hierarchy. Eventually, once it’s been legitimized by public opinion it can be used by politicians to signal their sympathy with white voters. And even better, once it’s established as a point of view, it will become easy to use it to expose the crazies who talk about these things as anti-white racists. Can you imagine the pleasure of using the racism card against some white left-wing university professor? Because just because he’s white doesn’t mean he isn’t biased against white people. After all racism is an equal opportunity profession.
Yeah, I’m definitely starting to like this thing. There are still a lot of angles that need to be considered to maximize the yardage it can give us but I definitely like the idea of becoming an aggrieved minority. Next up will be working this for men and then straight people. After all, each of those is an under attack minority.

It said Barr tweeted, “Muslim brotherhood & planet of the apes had a baby=vj.”
The article continued, ‘Barr subsequently apologized: “I apologize to Valerie Jarrett and to all Americans. I am truly sorry for making a bad joke about her politics and her looks. I should have known better. Forgive me — my joke was in bad taste.”’
Wow, I was wrong about Barr she is a badass. And it’s cost her big time. Hey maybe Fox can let her have a show on Friday night after Tim Allen’s show.
But doesn’t this make you think that there’s something in the air. Even Progressives like Roseanne Barr are fed up with the Narrative. Even they’re sick of having to toe a line they don’t respect. Roseanne may walk all this back and pay some price involving selling out blue collar people and she might even get back in the good graces (though I doubt it). But something is definitely starting to happen. Cracks in the dam? We’ll see. But the Overton Window is definitely on the move and ultimately all this goes back to Donald Trump.

But as Derbyshire states in his post, is the Stupid Party too stupid to reap the benefit? time will tell.
The Z-Man does what he does so well, disembowels the hopeless pay check conservatives at the likes of the National Review. A pleasant Memorial read. But also a little sad. I used to think those guys were on our side for real.
