What Comes After the Kamala-fication of 2024?
As the political system of the United States descends ever faster into farce, I find myself wondering if there any depths to which the people running this carnival ride won’t descend in order to prevent the citizens of this country from regaining control?
Think about it. They let a dementia patient pretend to be in charge of the US nuclear arsenal while they performed brinksmanship with Vladimir Putin. They apparently were willing to let Biden try to stay on the job until he was eighty-six years old, only his inability to remember the word “healthcare” torpedoed the only public speaking appearance they’ve allowed him in years. They’ve now anointed an emotionally unstable nitwit to be their candidate. And four years ago, they were willing to shut down the world economy by releasing a tepid bio-weapon against us in order to prevent Donald Trump’s reelection.
So, let’s suppose somehow Donald Trump “wins” the election. What makes anyone think they’d be unwilling to do whatever it takes to destroy his administration? Maybe this time they release a deadly bioweapon and all the people who refused the vaccine last time, die this time. Or now that we’ve seen how the secret Service can be weaponized what will prevent them from finishing the job after the inauguration?
I don’t want to come across as a doom and gloom-er (well, maybe somewhat) but I think there’s a pretty strong case to be made that the people who run the Deep State are pretty damn vicious and unafraid to throw a wrench into the works that keep this country running if it will damage their adversaries.
Let’s look at the best-case scenario. Donald Trump gets back in the White House and has a House and Senate that aren’t dead set against him and he begins implementing his plan; deporting illegal aliens and restoring fossil fuels as our energy source. Will the powers that be allow him to defang the Deep State? Will he be allowed to fire the people in the Justice Department, FBI and CIA who have been working against him for almost ten years? It seems highly unlikely.
After all, we’ve reached the go-for-broke stage of this battle. At this point there are probably a lot of people who know terrible secrets of illegal activities by people in high and middle levels of the bureaucracy. They must be pretty frightened that at some point someone will rat them out. That somewhere in the FBI or CIA there might be someone who wants to put an end to the endless string of unconstitutional covert actions against Donald Trump and the normal people in this country. In such an environment I have to think that the people running things must have a policy to avoid losing power by any means necessary.
If you follow how this has been going, the actions needed to keep the lid on all this seems to be escalating. And the rate of escalation seems to be accelerating. By my way of looking at this, that’s a recipe for disaster. Eventually the lies and excuses will become completely transparent. Even the stupidest or laziest observer will realize that the whole system is a sham.
That will be the point where our situation corresponds to last stages of the Soviet Union. “The rules are simple: they lie to us, we know they’re lying, they know we know they’re lying but they keep lying anyway, and we keep pretending to believe them.” At that point reality no longer controls the actions of the state and collapse will ensue without warning. Well, at least I’ll be able to say I told you so!
Unburdened By Yellow School Buses
Well, they finally did it. They either bribed or frightened or just plain exhausted Joe Biden into withdrawing from the race. My guess is cash.
Now we have Kamala Harris as Democrat candidate. Okay. This is the same Kamala whose job it was to control the border. Well, wait a minute. That didn’t go very well, did it? Wasn’t there some kind of problem with all of her staff quitting because she is a toxic witch that can’t get along with anybody and can’t get anything done? Okay, that could be a problem, maybe. What else have we got?
Well, there is the thing where she likes to talk about yellow school buses. And she likes to make up what she thinks are deep, impressive statements but other people find to be vapid and laughable. Like when she adopted the tag line, “I can imagine what can be, unburdened by what has been.” There Is a YouTube montage video where someone collected dozens and dozens of times, she has said this or very close versions of this. Watching them one after the other is a daunting task. Eventually this mantra begins sounding like a slogan to sell sneakers or a sports drink and the one saying it begins to sound unhinged. And there are any number of videos out there documenting her propensity to belabor the obvious and try to pass it off as “deep thinking.”
It seems then that Kamala babbling incoherently will just be substituted for Joe Biden babbling incoherently in the Republican commercials targeting her in the fall. But who knows? Maybe Kamala has come on the scene just as the American IQ has crashed into double digits. Maybe the voting population has gone down the same road as Kamala and they can imagine what Kamala can be unburdened by the fact that she’s an idiot. In fact, maybe an idiot is exactly what they want. If they can couch her pitch in terms of pseudoscientific psychobabble and feminine emotionalism and top it off with woke appeals to racialist and feminist grievance arguments then maybe she can get enough crackpots to make her election seem almost plausible.
But honestly, she suffers from the same problem that did in Joe Biden. After all, he was always in the hole, even before he broke out into tongues at the debate. He was behind in the polls because his economy stinks and the country is flooded with illegal aliens, drug addicts and other homeless people who are causing a crime epidemic. So even if Kamala’s version of Tourette’s Syndrome is slightly less off-putting than Joe’s she still has to convince voters that four years of Biden/Harris isn’t Harris’s fault. And that’s a pretty hard sell.
An additional challenge will be for her to explain how she kept telling anyone who asked her that that Joe Biden was as sharp as a tack and running rings around his staff making America run like a Swiss watch. That one isn’t going to fly. Just like all of the rest of the liars in his inner circle they saw the Vegetable in Chief regularly and she knew that he was essentially a dementia patient with his finger on the button of the nuclear football. That is going to be a very difficult question to answer. I’d love to see her unburden on that little beauty.
Handicapping Scranton Joe
I probably watched in total about twenty minutes of the speeches that Donald Trump and J D Vance made in Milwaukee. And that was already enough. The rah, rah stuff with the crowd and Trump’s tendency to repeat the same points over and over again were too much for me to watch more than that. And that’s nothing against people who like that kind of thing.
I was watching Tucker Carlson’s speech and had a different problem. I like his talks. He works a theme very well. But the problem with his speech was that the crowd kept interrupting him so that he had to placate them with polite noise to shut them up. I found it too distracting to listen to a good talk that had to dodge around a hyperactive crowd.
So, my takeaway is I’m not a convention kind of guy. I’m guessing that the correct preparation for a political convention involves self-medicating with ethanol or some other recreational drug.
But that’s fine. The people who were there seemed to be having a good time. They had Kid Rock and Hulk Hogan and I’m sure a number of entertainers and celebrities to help them enjoy a party to celebrate that they don’t have Joe Biden as their nominee. And they also had a great story to reflect on with the miraculous escape from death that Donald Trump was gifted at that fateful rally in Butler PA. For once Republicans are the ones celebrating and the Democrats are in existential panic over how and with whom they are going to replace Joe Biden on the presidential ballot.
I’ve been watching a bunch of the Democrat talking heads and what they say is that Pelosi and Schumer and Obama have been hectoring Biden to drop out and let his delegates “vote their consciences.” And they keep telling each other that the pressure is so overwhelming that Biden has no choice but concede.
But they’ve been saying this for about a week. I’m not even sure, they’re sure. Maybe they’re just whistling past the graveyard. After all Joe’s a pretty stubborn old coot. And he knows he has them over a barrel. After all, in a month the delegates will declare him the nominee regardless of their personal feelings. At that point if the donors want to withhold funding, they are dooming the Democrats to certain defeat. So, I think they’ll hold their noses and send the checks.
Now, one friend of mine said that they could threaten to reveal some of Biden’s high crimes and misdemeanors if he doesn’t withdraw. And I guess they could. But if he called their bluff, would they present the nation with proof that Biden is a crook? I kind of doubt it. After all Biden probably has dirt on all of them too. And even if he doesn’t rat them out it would destroy the Democratic Party for a generation. All the whispers about influence peddling would be shown true. And raking up all that dirt would be sure to tar half of Washington.
I asked some friends whether they thought Biden would withdraw. They all said yes. They’re probably right. But I’m holding out hope that Joe will dig deep and hang on. Like an anchor I’m hoping he will drag the Democrat party down to the bottom this November.
Run, Joe, run!
Republican Convention Fun
One of the interesting observations that has been mentioned by people both on the Left and Right is that the mood at the Republican Convention is not the usual atmosphere of nervous tension and fear. It has been replaced by one that has been described variously as excitement, confidence and almost giddy jubilation. For once Republicans haven’t been gaslighted into despair by the national media.
And that’s great. Even if eventually the Democrats manage to steal the election, at least for the time being, Republicans are openly talking about their agenda and why it will be a boon for the American people. And why is all this happening? I’d say it’s no coincidence that George and Jeb Bush, Mitt Romney, Mike Pence, Liz Cheney and all the rest of the establishment Republicans have stayed away. I’m guessing they weren’t disinvited. They just knew that this wasn’t their party anymore. And I guess it would be degrading for them to be ignored and disparaged by the new owners of the GOP; Donald Trump and his rowdy friends.
I’ll confess that I’m pretty excited about this snub. I am a very vindictive guy and knowing that Liz Cheney and Mitt Romney are getting the cold shoulder is a rare pleasure. Schadenfreude is a guilty pleasure for most but I revel in it. These are people who despise the great unwashed. The fact that they look down on normal people is why I hate these elitist swine. Ordinary people run the gamut from devils to saints. And they deserve to be considered on an individual basis just as the rich should be.
And this is the lesson of Trump. He is this fabulously wealthy, crazy man who rubs elbows with the captains and the kings of industry and society. He could be one with the rest of the aristocrats. But he still feels a connection to hoi polloi; the many. Maybe it’s because he was born and raised in New York City back when it was still a place where rich and poor had some things in common. We still celebrated the same holidays and watched the same ball clubs and movies and maybe still felt a feeling of community when the Twin Towers were destroyed in 2001.
For whatever reason he’s decided to be our champion. He’s even faced a bullet now. For better or worse, he’s our guy. And most of the Republican Party has finally reconciled to that reality. And whether we see him triumph in November and take his second shot at fixing this terribly broken country or see him go down in flames and report to prison to serve out the rest of his life behind bars, we’re going to follow this parade either up to the shining city on the hill or off the cliff.
And since the die is cast, we might as well enjoy it a little. Joe and Mika and Crazy Joy Reid have been almost apoplectic since the hilarious Trump-Biden debate where Dementia Joe revealed to the world that he’s down to just a handful of brain cells and can no longer pretend to be sentient. Watching the various components of the “independent” press beclown themselves trying to reconcile the claim that Joe Biden is both a president of enormous accomplishments and a human turnip is endlessly entertaining. After the assassination attempt MSNBC pulled Morning Joe off the air for a day to avoid one of the psychotic denizens of that show saying something so disgusting that the last three people in their audience finally give up. Watching Joe, the next day complaining bitterly about this “betrayal” was very amusing.
I’m guessing the next act will involve all the people who begged Joe Biden to drop out of the race because he’s a jabbering moron switching gears and swearing on a stack of bibles that he’s actually a super genius of Wiley Coyote caliber. That should be rich. Well, I’m thankful that my enemies are in disarray and acting crazier than usual.
Now, on with the show.
Focusing on the Foreground
All of us have to do a myriad of things to keep the plates spinning. Hopefully 95% of this stuff goes right. But 5% goes wrong and we need to clean up the mess and take our lumps and move on. And while all of this is going on in the foreground, in the background evil lunatics are working ceaselessly to put an end to the America that provides the space in which we can hustle along to give our families the slightest taste of the good life. We can have a week’s vacation at the beach. We send our kids to the best college we can afford. We own a home in a town where gangbangers don’t hunt down our kids in the streets.
So, this week we witness the Democrat party melting down because they can’t force their brain-dead figurehead to leave the presidential race. And when that sideshow act gets stale, they try to eliminate his competition the old-fashioned way, with a “lone wolf” spotted an eight-shot head start at point blank range by the secret service. And of course, once they fail, the Left declares it time to lower the temperature. At least for today.
Today, Donald Trump picked J D Vance as his running mate. Of the favorites listed I guess he’s probably the best choice. The kabuki theater that is the Republican Convention will drone on until, I think Thursday when Trump gives his acceptance speech. From what he’s said Trump has had a revelation. Being spared death has convinced him that his message will be that he wants to unite the country. Well, I don’t know how that can happen. I think almost half the country wanted the shooter to succeed. I mean, it’s admirable to want to unite America but I don’t think it’s one country anymore. It’s not even two countries that tolerate each other. It’s diametrically opposed enemies looking to get a permanent advantage in order to conquer the other.
So, while we struggle to keep the balls in the air, out of the corner of our eye we see this absurd pantomime that claims it’s “our democracy.” Today they kept Morning Shmoe of the air. He and his demented bride couldn’t be trusted not to start calling for Donald Trump’s blood on the day that Joe Biden was “brining down the temperature” by postponing the release of campaign commercials that probably feature Trump dressed up as Hitler. Of course, Scarborough is hardly the only or even the most unhinged of the left-wing pundits. Over the last couple of weeks Joy Reid at times has appeared to be close to an epileptic fit. I have to assume if they’re allowing her on the air, she must be dosed with Thorazine or something stronger.
Well, as we slouch toward Election Day we are sure to see a lot of crazy things. Will any of them be worse than the last couple of weeks? I’d like to say no but I’d be a fool to do it. If Biden’s numbers slip much lower, I wouldn’t be surprised by any crazy thing, up to and including a nuclear attack. Joe Biden is demented and the people who pull his strings are various types of maniacs. I want to believe that behind the scenes there are a few sane individuals that can keep the crazy people in check. But I’m far from convinced of that.
I’ll tell you. When I think about the biggest personal challenges I’m facing, and some of them are kind of daunting, I’m glad that I have them to keep me from thinking about this other stuff 24/7. Because this is bedlam.

So many are sending encouragement to Trump, but he lived with relatively little damage. I am angry with the media, pundits and celebs who are apparently forgetting the bystander who was killed and the two critically wounded. I still have not heard THEIR names mentioned. The dastard murderer’s name we know well, hearing or reading it dozens of times everywhere.
How about the media and pundits showing some respect for the bystanders who caught bullets, hmmmm?
The man who died sacrificed his life to shield his wife and daughters from the bullets. He died a bona fide HERO. And how about his family who saw him take the bullet and die before their eyes?
On Saturday, July 13, 2024, a shooting occurred at a campaign rally for former President Donald Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania. The incident resulted in the death of Corey Comperatore, a 50-year-old former firefighter who was attending the rally with his family. Comperatore was fatally shot while trying to protect his family from the hail of bullets.
Corey Comperatore: A Hero
Corey Comperatore, a devoted father and volunteer firefighter, was hailed as a hero for shielding his family from the gunfire. According to reports, Comperatore threw himself over his family members, including his wife and two daughters, to protect them from the bullets. His selfless act ultimately cost him his life.
Other Injured Victims
Two other individuals were injured in the shooting, including a 35-year-old man who was shot in the leg and a 42-year-old woman who was shot in the arm. Both victims were treated at a local hospital and are expected to recover.
Trump on the Firing Line
So, I wanted to write a post on the assassination. But I’m kind of at a loss. Where to start? Most of Donald Trump’s secret service detail looks like an aging, out of shape girl scout troop. Then we have the anti-sniper unit, they must have been on a coffee break. Eventually after the shooter emptied a magazine at the president, they got around to killing the guy on the roof in front of them. I guess that was nice of them under the circumstances. Then the press goes through some histrionics but their takeaway is that preventing retaliation by insane Trump followers is the most important mission of the security agencies. Trump’s political enemies prosecute him in every jurisdiction where they can assemble a kangaroo court and then they hyperventilate on the television about him retaliating against them with lawfare if he wins. What’s wrong with this picture? We live in a permanent upside-down reality.
But we already know all this. Basically, we are waiting to find out if Deep State will thwart the will of the people of this country and essentially prove that they can and will do whatever it takes to maintain control over our lives and enact their agenda, which is basically make us into serfs. We’ve got four months more or less. Maybe they’ll get lucky with the next psycho. Maybe his aim will be better or his weapon a little more robust. Or maybe Trump will survive to election day, and they’ll cheat him the way they did in 2020. Or maybe they’ll let him win the election and then just stonewall his every attempt at reforming the system with crooked judges and bureaucratic obfuscation. Who knows, they might have a more effective bioweapon this time or a deadlier RNA vaccine as a follow up. But the chance of him fixing things seems remote.
Watching Trump on that podium and seeing his defiance after they came within an inch or two of blowing his head off, I was grateful that a man who didn’t have to put up with any of this madness cared enough about this country to try and fix the awful mess we’re in. Trump is this enigma. Trump is a businessman, or a salesman, or a huckster, or a con-man or a flim-flam artist depending on whether you like him or hate him. But he’s definitely one thing. He’s an American. And I’m an American. Now to a lot of people that word no longer has any meaning. But to a lot of us it still does. So, I recognize in Trump someone who is trying to save the world we used to live in. He wants to stop the wholesale destruction of the way of life that we all loved and took for granted.
Now, at this point I’d give him considerably less than a fifty-fifty chance of saving this country. He’s up against the Democrats, the Republicans, the Deep State, Wall Street, the rest of the globalists of the world and now the lunatics of the Left who want to blow his brains out.
I doubt he’ll win. But I can’t doubt his courage. He’s proven that under fire.

It’s no fun being a prophet. As I wrote earlier, the left has pulled out all the stops.
Now Trump and me are brothers. I’ve had an AK bullet pass between the right side of my head and my right ear. It nicked my ear and burned the short hair on my head. We both have been within an inch of dying.
What bothers me is how the shooter got that close. ALL rooftops within a mile with direct line of sight of the stage are supposed to be under surveillance by human eyes with binoculars, snipers with scopes, helicopters, and drones. Drones should have been swarming the perimeter and out to at least 400 yards.
Trump has his Teddy Roosevelt moment. Too bad the shooter was killed. Should have been captured and sent to Gitmo for “questioning”, but I guess they had to ensure he couldn’t shoot any more bystanders.
I can say with experience. TRUMP WILL HAVE RESTLESS NIGHTS OVER THIS ONE. He’ll wake up, sit up in bed and grab his ear from bad dreams.

Attempted Assassination of Donald Trump
Above is a video of a witness who saw the shooter crawling up on the roof of a nearby building who got the attention of law enforcement and told them a sniper was on the building and they did nothing.
Well, the crazies are now out in full force. At a rally in Pennsylvania Donald Trump appeared to be grazed by bullets as he was talking to the crowd.
So much for the peaceful, law-abiding leftists.
