If Dr. Seuss is Racist What Isn’t?

If there any people that still think that the newspapers, tv and cable news, schools, universities, tech companies and even the Federal government are going to act honestly about questions of race I hope they get some help right away.  Anyone that stupid should be strapped into a chair and fed by a nurse because he’s obviously too stupid to be trusted even with a spork.

The culture war isn’t a war anymore.  It’s just an exercise in humiliating slaves.  We’re supposed to sit here while the official and unofficial centers of power are allowed to insult everything we hold normal and good in this world.  If sixty years ago you had told John Kennedy that his party would in the same year denigrate and dishonor the names and monuments of Columbus, Washington, Jefferson and Lincoln and even go after a beloved author of children’s books he would have called you a madman.  So would have FDR.  And he was a thorough going progressive.

By any and all measures these people aren’t Americans and they aren’t our countrymen.  They are an occupying army on our soil.  They’ve captured our country and they are doing everything they can to get rid of us and replace us with foreigners whom they can more easily control.

Right now, what they are attempting to do is demoralize us and also spark a small violent reaction that they can crush and then use as an excuse to legislate even more unconstitutional laws to remove our freedoms.  And it is working.  Normal Americans are disgusted and depressed by the endless drum beat of assaults on normalcy and the things that we enjoy in life.  It is discouraging and doubtless there will be some violent reactions to the insults.

But reacting to the Left in a manner that they are prepared to capitalize on is a huge mistake.  Just like the riots and the statue toppling they are waiting for someone to fight back.  And they will pound those people into the ground.  Any resistance to these affronts will have to take place in red states and will need official protection by and approval of the state legislatures and governors.  And even then, there will be federal judges and the Department of Justice attacking the people in charge.  For all I know we are at the point where the Federal government is willing to send combat troops in to force compliance with unconstitutional laws and executive orders.

And we cannot kid ourselves into thinking that the Supreme Court will do a damn thing to prevent these tyrannical laws.  There are at most three justices who take their oaths seriously.  The rest of them just want to keep their lucrative positions and get to posture in front of the legal profession.  No, only the states still in the hands of free Americans have any chance of fighting back against this disgusting evil.

In my darker moments I imagine a red state governor looking to set a trap for the Left in one of his state’s blue cities.  He could wait until the rioting begins and declare martial law but only display the troops at the periphery of the violence.  But have a force in hiding in one of the riot zones and then spring the trap against the most heinous rioters, arsonists and looters.  If done correctly he could use all the available video surveillance evidence to prosecute these people to the fullest extent of the law which could be very severe.

In a less dramatic but just as valuable operation I can imagine the State of Florida following up on their proposed crackdown on internet discrimination against conservatives and sue Google and Facebook and Twitter for many billions of dollars.  It could be a class action suit and all of us could enjoy some of the benefits.  Now that is something I could see happening easily enough.

But both of these routes may be needed to finally begin pushing back against these evil people who are completely committed to making our lives miserable in every way they can.  In the meantime, as I mentioned in yesterday’s post, purchase hard copies of any book, music, movie or television show that you like because sooner or later if it’s good they’ll ban it and it will disappear.  After all, if Dr. Seuss is racist what isn’t?

Finding the Good in Today’s World – Part 1

Going through the news and what passes for entertainment today is a pretty grim process.  It seems it’s woke wreckage and infantilism all the way down.  But if you let the mainstream media and the progressives in New York and Hollywood blind you to what else is out there then you’ve played into their hands.  Admittedly, it is work to “find the good” but it’s not an impossible task.

I’ll confess, I often fall back on complaining about how bad things have gotten and longing for the good old days.  But that doesn’t help anyone.  And in my defense, I do reviews of books, movies, tv shows and country music.  I do get a small but steady search traffic for those things and so I can claim that I do my small part for increasing the knowledge base of people interested in “finding the good.”  But I think it’s a good idea to put together information in an organized form and maybe supplement it with some comments.  After all I am what the idiot children call an “opinion leader” which I guess is a synonym for opinionated jerk.  So here goes.

First things first.  I believe in owning physical copies.  I buy paper books, CDs and DVDs.  I think some of the things I like will be cancelled by the industries that own them and will disappear.  And now we see Disney putting warnings on their old movies and publishers eliminating Dr. Seuss.  Well, okay.  Of course, I’ll need to buy a good supply of DVD players.  But they’re so cheap that it’s reasonable to do.  I’ve got a few hundred DVDs and a few hundred CDs and I used to have thousands of books but I pared that back a good deal and now it’s a few hundred of those.

And owning the physical copies means if I want to watch “The Sting” or read “Huckleberry Finn” I don’t have to search for a streaming service that hasn’t cancelled these works because they use forbidden words or ideas.  That’s enormously powerful.  And convenient.  Most of the streaming services only possess a small fraction of the “good” things you might want to see or hear or read.  Just yesterday I read that the BBC is going back and expurgating the “racist” dialog that they’ve discovered in John Cleese’s “Fawlty Towers” tv show.  John Cleese is a pompous fool who now regrets the thought policing that he and his generation introduced.  But I have the DVDs for that show and if I want to be reminded of when he actually was funny, I can watch them, so-called racism and all!

The next thing that you can use when looking for the good is chronological.  Basically, anything created before 1960 is probably free from systemic cultural poisoning.  Now granted there were plenty of leftists even back then but they had not captured the arts completely.  So, for instance, if you look at the book or movie awards from those years you will note that most of the books and movies are readable or watchable.  There are of course exceptions.  But compare that to the winners of book and movie awards today.  For me an Academy Award from the last decade or so is almost a guarantee that the movie is unwatchable psychobabble or celebrates disgusting sexual deviancy.  Nowadays it takes a review from someone I trust to get me to watch a movie or read a book.

So, I’ve gone on for a page with generalities.  In the next installments of this series, I’ll pick one area and provide some recommendations on things I’ve found that are good.  But just to get the ball rolling I’ll throw out one recommendation.

Modern television show: “Justified”

Here is a show that ran from 2010 to 2015 that was based on stories by Elmore Leonard, a truly great crime writer and running to almost eighty episodes and there isn’t a bad episode in the bunch.  That’s pretty rare.  Timothy Olyphant, Nick Searcy and Walton Goggins give highly entertaining and nuanced performances and even a racist, sexist homophobe such as myself will admit that Hollywood didn’t screw this show up somehow.  Camera Girl and I have re-watched this series every few years and we still enjoy every episode.  I hope I never wear out the fun of watching it.

Future Leaders of Free America

I just listened to the CPAC speeches by Governors DeSantis and Noem.  I went over the substance of their speeches.  Both of them were bragging about the results that their states had during COVID and of the conservative policies and priorities that each had selected to enforce.  And they were right to brag.  Both states weathered 2020 with their economies intact and without having caved in to the stupidity that Cuomo and Newsom followed.  They protected the right people and let everyone else live their lives like free people.

Listening to DeSantis as a political speaker he’s okay.  He’s not mesmerizing, or effortlessly glib.  Comparing him to Ronald Reagan, he would be thought to be a lesser speaker.  But he was talking about the legislation he’s endorsing to rein in the Silicon Valley companies from de-platforming and canceling conservatives for their beliefs.  That’s amazing.  No other American politician has dared to even consider doing that.  If he can make that happen, he will singlehandedly revolutionize the reality of free speech in America today.  A man who is taking such bold action could be a man to lead us to freedom.

Governor Noem is a very effective speaker.  She spoke about how the press, specifically George Stephanopoulos, mocked her on television and begged Andrew Cuomo to take her aside and straighten her out on how to handle COVID.  The irony of how that sounds today is staggering.  Cuomo is being investigated for his incompetent and dishonest handling of nursing home safety during the height of the COVID crisis.  Amid all the overreach of his lockdowns he stupidly exposed the one population that was known to be critically vulnerable to COVID to direct exposure to people that were known to have developed the disease.  Comparing this to Noem’s approach makes her actions seem reasonable and balanced.  She also told a personal story about her father that was quite touching and also tied into her message on responsibility and courage.  She seems like someone who will be attractive to voters and she has demonstrated that she isn’t easily panicked into taking poor advice.  She also may turn out to be someone who will help us regain our freedom.

So, there are two leaders.  Depending on your count of red states we probably need another twenty-two or twenty-three more governors just like them.  Because it’s going to take a coalition of red states to fend off the unconstitutional assault that we will be coming at us from Washington.  But the good news is these two leaders seem to get it.  They are talking about the right things.  They are doing the right things.  I compare this to someone like Marco Rubio, the supposedly conservative US senator from Florida.  His speeches are full of feeling and ringing endorsement of conservative platitudes but he consistently caves into leftist demands for things like amnesty for illegals.  This tells me that we seem to be making some progress in who is getting into red state government.

So, it’s not like we are ready to have a Red State Constitutional Convention.  But we are starting to see the beginning of a movement by the states to push back against the anti-conservative alliance.  We see politicians who actually seem to get it.  And that’s more than encouraging.  It downright inspiring.

03MAR2021 – Free at Last, Free at Last

Texas and Mississippi have both announced that as of 3/8/2021 all mask and other restrictions on people and businesses for the COVID farce will be done with.

Oh man am I jealous.  But this is really good news.  As more and more states end this charade the remaining losers will look stupider and stupider.  I wonder what Fauci is going to do after this to garner attention.  He’ll probably want to declare the common cold a pandemic.  After all several cold viruses are corona viruses.  We can’t be too careful.

I’m going to celebrate the good news by burning my stash of face masks.  I’ll just keep the one raggedy one I’ve been using for the last year.  It’s tattered and I had to staple the elastic back on twice.  But I think it’s a feature not a bug that it gives the impression that I’m really not worried whether it does anything or not.  I’m thinking of punching some holes in it to make it easier to breath through.  Or maybe I can paint on a face mask every day I need to go out there.  You know, like those fake bathing suits they paint on models and movie stars.  It’ll look close enough to being a real mask that no one will be impolite enough to ask me if it’s real.  And if anyone does I’ll just talk in a muffled tone so they really get confused.

So kudos to Governors Abbott and Reeves for finally getting up the courage to end this nonsense for their citizens.  Now if only the losers in the northeast also wake up and smell the fresh air.

Andrew Cuomo Gets His Turn in the Barrel

If you are an old straight white guy, there is an industry that is devoted to portraying you as a monster.  And even if you’re a grandee of the Democrat party, the scion (admittedly a degenerate offspring) of Democrat royalty such as Mario Cuomo, if they can find a woman whose feelings have been offended you are going to get the treatment, the royal treatment.

I don’t think it’s possible for these guys not to know that eventually this will happen.  The last Democrat that I know of who had full immunity was the Lion (or Jackal) of the Senate, Teddy Kennedy.  Old Tedward was able to paw, maul and even murder women with complete impunity.  During his nephew’s rape case there was testimony that a drunken Teddy, sans pantalon (without benefit of pants), was perambulating around the yacht hoping to get an offer.  Ah, the Kennedys.

But Teddy was the last gasp.  Look at Bill Clinton.  He got impeached over a consensual fling.  And even Hollywood moguls can’t depend on the sanctity of the casting couch.  Ask poor Jabba the Weinstein.  I mean really!  Does no one stay bought anymore?  Is there no honor among whores?

So, Randy Andy gets his turn in the barrel.  Reading the list of charges, it’s pretty minor stuff, at least legally.  After all Joe Biden is accused of an act that currently would qualify as actual rape.  Cuomo sexually harassed a woman who worked for him.  In New York State that might have a criminal penalty.  But I’m guessing it’s more of a civil case that could cost him some millions of dollars.

But what it might cost him is his hope of another term as governor.  Based on my sense of how this will work, the next Governor of the Empire State will be a Governess of Color.  This should pay for all kinds of sins and really show the Patriarchy that those butt pinching days of yore are over forever!

My take?

Good.  Let them devour each other to the last man.  The Cuomos have been phonies for the last fifty years that I know of.  Mario, Andrew and even that congenital idiot Fredo (Chris) were and are the worst kind of opportunists.  Democrat party apparatchiks that have followed the party right down the sewer to its current state of woke madness.  And now, finally, it’s going to devour them next.  Well, excuse me if I don’t shed a tear.  I think it’s especially good that all white men and eventually all white women figure out that the Democrat party has only back of the bus seats for them.  And if that works for them then good riddance.  I’m looking to make common cause with people who don’t believe in race-based justice.  I happen to think the Summer of George has given even some left-leaning people an object lesson as to what happens when you summon up a race-war mob.  It becomes very difficult to disband the mob and send it home.  The violence and the consequences of that mob mentality should be easy for people of any race to see as very, very dangerous.

But I digress. Saint Andrew of the Emmys is looking down the barrel of #MeToo defenestration.  And it’s arriving just in time to finish off the damage that the nursing home deaths scandal had already kicked off.  In fact, I believe the #MeToo mob is just another bunch of sharks showing up once there was blood in the water.  Of course, the #MeToo has the advantage that once Cuomo is generally thought of as a “bad man” then convicting him of the real crime, malfeasance in office becomes that much easier.  None of his cronies will be willing to throw a lifeline to the sinner and he will be eaten alive.

So sad, so sad, so very sad.  The only questions I still have are, will Fredo turn on him and will CNN turn on Fredo?  Now that’s must see tv.

Discussion from the Post “28FEB2021 – Reading the Tea Leaves”

I liked the comments from this post so much I decided they should be given their own post on the site Here it is.  This is exactly how I want the site to perform.

Red state legislatures should reinstate control over the election process B4 2022 for any chance of changing the House majority party and must reinstate control….B4 2024 if there is to be any chance to have Trump(or similar) become President. I am not optimistic.

Neither am I. PA, WI, AZ & GA should have already been galvanized by the November outrage. Instead, crickets.

Like you, I was relatively okay with Trump’s speech. It sounded like a pre-election rally, a call to action of some sort, and a synopsis of why he’s great and Biden is not. Fine: Everyone listening gets it. He’s preaching to the choir. The question is twofold: How are we going to get back control, and secondly, Who is going to lead this process?

We now understand that no institution in the United States is going to stand firm for American values, laws, the Constitution, history, culture, language or borders. At least not at the leadership levels — people on the line, doing the work agree with conservatives, but the controlling executive and managerial levels don’t.

I think we can demonstrate with history, that in most situations people only learn things and move to action with pain. It would be nice if we learned through pleasure, but it doesn’t seem that way. If so, then it isn’t enough for Americans to wake up and see what’s going on around them. That’s been happening for decades, presumably under some sort of organized planning.

No; we’re too far down the road to socialism and American tyranny. Instead, we’re going to have to now live through the results of decades of apathy, inaction, and wanting someone else to do the work. As Trump said, conservatives are nice; Democrats are vicious. And we know how difficult it is to change human nature. There’s an old poem making the rounds about how the Saxons learned to hate. It will take a lot more, and a lot of real pain for conservatives to learn to be as strong as our opponents.

Craig, I agree completely with what you describe. Somebody with a lot of courage and some brains is going to have to step forward and actually take a stand. And if he has a plan that will work men will follow him.

But he or she will be assassinated or “cancelled” or have false charges of sexual harassment, etc, brought against them. If the bastards are now going after Dr Seuss, there is no limit to their perfidy.

They got JFK and Bobby Kennedy, almost got Reagan and even went after poor Gerald Ford. Frankly, I’m surprised Trump survived. The left is the party of racism, violence and assassination. They whistle up their brown shirt Antifa and BLM like Maduro whistles up his “militia”, both to suppress opposition to the regime.

I can see red state pushback but not secession. One pushback I’d like to see is the state basically kicking federal personnel out. Force all offices of the IRS and FBI to close and leave. If the feds retaliate with loss of federal money, then tell state residents they no longer have to pay US income tax, and dare the feds to try and enforce it. Red states put more into the federal coffers than they get back as it is. Threaten to have Military bases power and water cut off from outside the base borders, where the state rules, if the feds keep it up. Use the National Guard as the new state military and refuse to federalize them when congress tries.

If turned loose, the Texas Rangers can enforce the law quite well in Texas. FBI not needed. Also create another border just inside the US border and put up a wall or fence. Texas can then refuse to accept illegals.

I said many times that this was going to be the most crooked election in our history. I was right. The Democrats went after the election and they pulled out all the stops, every dirty trick in the book was used. Now they are in charge of government they will only entrench themselves further. No illegal act, no falsehood, no theft, no felony will be too bad for them to use in their quest for power.

The problem is, conservatives are basically decent people. Democrats are vicious swine with no moral scruples at all. They will support anything if it helps them achieve their ends. Murder, riot, arson, theft, vote fraud, lies, false charges, suppression of the Bill of Rights – anything. Things conservatives cannot bring themselves to do. So conservatives are always fighting with one foot in a bucket of cement and one hand tied behind their backs.

You know War Pig, that’s all very true and I may be getting senile but I’m actually more optimistic since the election fraud than I was before. I think the farce that is the Biden Administration will do more to wake up America than anything Trump could have done in a second term. I’m hoping that one of the governors will step up and tell Biden and his goons to go pound sand. As I said I’m probably dead wrong but I’m feeling optimistic.

Unless they face legal repercussions, they will continue to violate election laws at will. Until one of the mighty goes to prison, there is no stopping them. Why shouldn’t they steal elections? They get away with it, and nobody pays the price. When they steal the elections, they can stymie any investigation. Look at Ohio. The federal prosecutor in our area arrested the speaker of the Ohio house on corruption charges. He was building a case on the largest state-level corruption and money laundering scheme he’d ever heard of. But, he has now packed his bags and gone as Biden replaced him. The Democratic-leaning replacement doesn’t seem very interested in the case so far.

We would need a President able to drain the swamp and it would take four terms in office at least, with both houses of congress firmly in conservative hands for those four terms. That’s how long FDR took to fill the swamp.

At this point I think if anything is going to be done it will happen in a red state. The federal government is hopelessly lost to the Left.

The Federal Government is bankrupt, hence the unlimited printing of money. It will collapse, along with EBT cards and money, unemployment checks and so forth. Then there will be riots, mostly in the urban centers. Let’s see how well the Federal Government does in holding onto their control when the money runs out.

Exactly how long the federal government can print unlimited trillions of dollars is unknown by me. I’m not sure anyone knows when the currency will collapse.

He does seem to be doing a lot of things right. What might make things even more interesting is if he started coordinating with as many of the other red states as are interested to coordinate efforts. They could form their own League or Bloc. I think that could be very useful.

THE WRATH OF THE AWAKENED SAXON

by Rudyard Kipling

It was not part of their blood,

It came to them very late,

With long arrears to make good,

When the Saxon began to hate.

They were not easily moved,

They were icy — willing to wait

Till every count should be proved,

Ere the Saxon began to hate.

Their voices were even and low.

Their eyes were level and straight.

There was neither sign nor show

When the Saxon began to hate.

It was not preached to the crowd.

It was not taught by the state.

No man spoke it aloud

When the Saxon began to hate.

It was not suddenly bred.

It will not swiftly abate.

Through the chilled years ahead,

When Time shall count from the date

That the Saxon began to hate.

Jefferson Davis had an entire government in place for the Confederacy; including a currency and banking system. Lincoln had technology. In today’s world, conservatives have the technology, while the only thing the aristocrats have is a currency, and identity politics.

This will be difficult and no one really knows how this will go but there are an awful lot of people whose eyes have been opened. It may happen faster than we think. We just need the right match. And I think that match will be a hero.

(Sorry for the long comment, but I guess I’m passionate.)

I’m reading the comments, and it seems we’re all seeing the same thing: With control over law, justice, congress, and (of course) the bureaucracy, there doesn’t seem to be a way to change things. The single, biggest problem we all face is utter lack of accountability. Nobody has gone to jail for anything in my lifetime, and that spans at least 40 years as an adult paying attention. Yes, there have been one or two major cases, but we’ll likely agree that perps along the lines of the Clintons, Bidens, Pelosis, and so forth — the upper leadership of government — should be tried and convicted.

The biggest problem for the other side — the tyrants — is the size of the United States. Go back and re-watch the original “Red Dawn” movie, in light of today’s world. You’ll see numerous major flaws of logic, logistics, and cause-effect. People say we’ll become like Venezuela. And yes, that’s what the tyrants (or more properly, the aristocrats) want.

Okay: Venezuela is, what…the size of Texas? The US has all the resources needed for a completely self-sufficient nation. But the biggest (historic) distinction between the US and every other nation that’s fallen to tyranny, is the armed citizenry. People say that individuals can’t go up against a military. I would argue most of the military personnel are on the side of the free citizens.

When the Soviet Union was about to collapse, the general(s) and politicians who led the coup, failed. In retrospect, they said that the only way a coup, revolution, or insurgency can succeed is with the large majority of the citizens supporting that cause. With 80+ million conservatives that we know about as voters, I would say that’s a significant majority.

The logistics of actually taking control of this nation, as the aristocrats want, are nearly impossible. They would have almost no infrastructure support — conservatives overwhelmingly are the mechanics, engineers, and construction sector, along with farming, processing and delivering food, goods and services. Democrats control the large, urban centers. They don’t control entire “blue” states. Dominion voting machines make it appear so, but county-by-county vote tallies show the truth. Urban centers are extremely vulnerable.

We, as a nation, will have to be forced into a direct confrontation. In Germany and the USSR, when the secret police came in the dead of night, the citizens didn’t have guns. They could have used knives, bricks, table legs, or bludgeons, but they didn’t. Europe has a history of centuries of being led by kings, czars, and other monarchs or dictators. The people were almost genetically conditioned to follow orders.

Americans have only a history of liberty. Almost any child on a playground, when confronted, will say, “It’s a free world: I can do what I want.” Ignore the child’s argument, and focus on that automatic assumption of freedom. When the police (or foreign mercenaries) come for us, America isn’t at all like Europe. Many people will die, and those mercenaries will be far more cautious about going after the citizens (outside the urban centers) in a wholesale manner.

We should be optimistic, but not because we’ll somehow find a great leader. No; it’s because when things really and truly reach the breaking point, there will be armed resistance. And even if the military tried to side with the Administration, how many citizens would it take to overwhelm that equipment? And how many previous military have the skills to fly helicopters, fighter planes, and every other damn thing.

We’ve tried a peaceful resistance, with the voting. That failed, and I see no real attempt to fix it. We tried the courts, and now, with even Durham quitting, that failed. We’ll try passive resistance and non-compliance, and that likely won’t work either. Then “they’ll” come for us. And that’s when half the population will finally make a stand and say, “No!”

Craig, you have thought about these things quite a bit. And lately so have I. I agree Americans are not Russian serfs that will passively turn themselves in to the secret police. But I do hope that a governor and a state legislature will show some backbone and tell the feds to pound sand when they come for the guns. I no longer think it’s a sure thing that the so-called conservative majority on the Supreme Court will protect the Bill or Rights. I despise Roberts passionately but he may not be the only traitor.

I forgot the biggest adversary of all: the banks and financial oligarchy. Control the money, and you control the nation. That’s what’s behind all this in the first place: financial control of the world’s resources. Standing against that is the American foundation of free-market capitalism, entreprenneurs, black markets, and lack of “respect” for government in general.

“People say that individuals can’t go up against a military. I would argue most of the military personnel are on the side of the free citizens.”

The left likes to forget that there are something like 24 million veterans in civil society. Even if the military takes the left’s side (which I also doubt), they are short on manpower to occupy this entire, large nation, as you so accurately pointed out. Plus many of the combat vets have seen action in Vietnam and in Afghanistan/Iraq, where we beat the enemy at their own guerilla war game. Our veterans know how to prosecute a guerilla war, and enough of them have experience with IEDs to make any occupying force whish it had stayed in barracks.

Yamamoto said he had no intention of trying to invade the US mainland and “face a gun behind every blade of grass”. The old Soviet marshals said pretty much the same thing. You are both correct, the armed citizenry is the key to freedom. That is why the left is trying so hard to disarm us.

One leftist pundit said that; “if you need 30 rounds to hunt, you suck at hunting”: to which the correct reply is; “if you need a disarmed populace to govern, you suck at governing”.

Let’s take a look at the results.  First of all, response to the poll was pretty high.  Out of 160 readers we got 28 poll respondents.  Which is 18%.  But the percentage is probably higher because the 160 number probably contains some people returning to see how the numbers were turning out.  But 20% is pretty high for one of these polls.

I’m going to start with an 80/20 approach I’ll look at any result higher than 80% as an overwhelming preponderance of sentiment.  Anything below 20% is a very low support from the general population.

Coming in at 96% everyone thinks Joe Biden will not last four years in office.  Well, that seems like a safe bet.  Three of the statements are that the Democrats will go after Freedom of religion, free speech and the right to bear arms.  These go hand in hand and once again these things are clearly on their agenda.  What this shows is that the people reading this site are well aware of what the current political alignment is going to do.  And I agree on this.  They intend to advance their agenda with the majority they have fraudulently assembled in the Senate.  The next item is a general statement.  “Things Cannot Go On this Way.”  I think this one is important.  Most people feel that the abnormality and the dysfunction of all the current status quo is intolerable and will cause a reaction.  And that goes hand in hand with the final 80%+ statement, “Some Red States Will Push Back Against Federal Assaults on Constitutional Rights.”  Most people feel that some of the states will not stand for the unconstitutional laws that the Democrats are going to write.  Personally that is a comforting result.  I am glad to know that my thinking is line with most conservatives.  I’d hate to think that everyone has already abandoned us to whatever laws the Democrats feel like writing.  And with the current Democrat monopoly of power in Washington it will have to be the states that push back against these outrages.

Now we can look at the results that had less than 20% agreement.

Questions Selected by Less than 20% of Respondents Votes % of Voters
Things Will get Better 5 18%
The Red States Will Acquiesce Under the Federal Assault on Constitutional Rights 3 11%
Things Will Stay the Way They Are Now Indefinitely 3 11%
Joe Biden Will Last Out His Term 1 4%
Some Red States Will Secede from the United States 0 0%

Only one statement had no takers.  No one thought that any of the states would secede.  Too bad.  I think that’s one we may need.  But maybe it’s too soon.

All the other statements are the opposite of some of the statements that had the 80% approval.

Finally we’ll look at the stuff in the middle.

Question Selected Between 20% and 80% of Respondents Votes % of Voters
The Supreme Court Will Not Protect Free Speech 17 61%
Things Will Get Worse 16 57%
The Supreme Court Will Not Protect Gun Rights 16 57%
The Supreme Court Will Not Protect Freedom of Religion 16 57%
The Republicans Will Retake the Presidency in 2024 11 39%
The Republicans Won’t Win the Presidency Again 9 32%
We Will Be Wearing Masks Indefinitely 9 32%
Masks Will Go Away Altogether in a Few Months 8 29%
The Supreme Court Will Protect Freedom of Religion 8 29%
The Supreme Court Will Protect Gun Rights 7 25%
The Supreme Court Will Protect Free Speech 7 25%

So these are the things people aren’t sure about.  Will the Supreme Court Defend the Constitution?  Is it still possible to win a presidential election?  Will the COVID farce ever end?  If you look at the percentages as they stand it’s two to one against the Supreme Court helping us.  That seems about right to me.  As far as the COVID and election questions those are dependent on whether we get fed up and so something about them.

I wasn’t sure what I’d find with this poll but now it seems surprising in line with my own take on the whole thing.  Well, all except that thumbs down on secession.    I figured it would be a little less lop-sided.  But as I said maybe that’s more a matter of a little more time passing.

Well, thanks for everyone’s input.  I hope you found it interesting too.  Please feel free to leave your comments on my observations.  They are welcome.

28FEB2021 – Reading the Tea Leaves

I just finished listening to President Trump’s speech at CPAC.  It was a good enough speech but I’m dissatisfied.  I guess I understand what he’s hoping to do.  He’s trying to adapt the Republican Party to achieve the things he wants to accomplish.  And he did single out the anti-Trump members of Congress that voted against him in the impeachment farce.  I see him preparing to endorse primary challengers to these rats.  That’s fine.  I get that.  But I was looking for more.  I wanted to hear about action that could be taken before the 2022 elections.  That’s two years away.  That’s a lifetime of suffering away.  That’s too long to hang on hoping for election results.

I was talking to some friends today.  And I asked a few of them about how they think things are going to shake out.  Some said they hoped for the mid-terms to take back the Congress.  Some felt as I do that election fraud probably meant we weren’t going to be winning anymore elections.  I asked them what they planned to do to about living in the slave states we are currently trapped in.  Some want to move to free states like Florida and Texas.  Then I asked them what would they do if the federal government started to squeeze the free states with gun grabs and hate speech law suits.  They didn’t know.  And finally, I asked them if any of them thought that any of the free states would make a stand and push back against the feds, maybe even secede.  Some said no, some said maybe.

It all sounds a little discouraging.  But I’m actually encouraged.  Think about how people would have responded to these questions even four years ago.  The insane things that have happened in the last few years have been impossible to pass off as normal.  The COVID lockdown, the BLM/Antifa rioting and its acceptance by Democrats at the Federal, state and local levels.  The anti-white hatred being fostered by Fortune 500 corporations and the Silicon Valley companies practicing censorship of individuals and even the President of the United States.  Woke cancel culture and the suspension of freedom of speech.  And to top it all off, we got a close up look at massive electoral fraud spanning multiple states.

Millions of people are waking from a sleepwalking existence that ignored the reality all around us.  Now we can see what’s see going on.  The only real unknown is what will we do about it.  As you can see from the answers I got to my questions there is no consensus or even conviction as to what should be done.  But I see value in asking people what they think at the moment.  I’ll include a little poll to see what the readers here think.  I’ll follow up afterwards with my comments on the results.

27FEB2021 – And the Truth Shall Set You Free

Anyone older than thirty has probably seen the classic Peanuts cartoon of Charlie Brown and Lucy enacting the football fake.  Lucy tells Charlie Brown that she’ll hold the football for him to kick but when he is running full throttle and just winding up his leg to kick, she pulls it away and he lands on his back in confusion, pain and despair.  And the most horrible part is that this is the hundredth time that Charlie Brown has fallen for Lucy’s assurance that this time it will be different.  Schulz must have modeled this plot on Republican politicians and their voters.  The stupid party, and stupid refers to the voters not the grifters they vote for, have been falling for the football fake for about sixty years.

But hallelujah, for some of us at least, the game is over.  I don’t want to hear about the Supreme Court, balancing the budget or making the world safe for democracy.  All I want is revenge.  The only thing that will get me to the ballot box is voting out any Republican weasel that has stabbed us in the back.  I’d vote for an avowed cannibal if it meant I could banish Mitt Romney to the company of Salt Lake City Californians.  Hell, I’d vote for Caligula if I could see Liz Cheney deprived of a paycheck and forced to get a job as a DMV clerk.

Let’s face it, we live under a Uni-Party.  Giving it two names allows the actors to stage the little puppet show theater spectacle that they put on for our benefit.  Mitch McConnell and Kevin McCarthy strut around waving their hands and then breathlessly report back to us on their efforts.  They admonish us to send more money and vote harder so that they can take back the Senate and the House in 2022 and finally make the world safe for mom, apple pie and the good old traditional Republican sodomites instead of these new-fangled, communist transgendered kind.  Once you’ve seen behind the curtain the only objective is figuring out how to expose the puppet’s strings so that the rest of the audience can share in the joke.

Here’s an example.  Liz Cheney is a neocon.  She hates Donald Trump because he knocked out Jeb Bush and prevented her from getting some cushy job in the Bush III administration’s intelligence apparatus back in 2017.  So instead, she’s dependent on the voters of Wyoming whom she despises to get her re-elected every two years.  Kevin McCarthy knows this but he gave her cover after she voted against President Trump in the Impeachment Show.  She should have been pulled out of her leadership spot.  Who knows, maybe letting her take a kick in the pants might even have allowed her to apologize to the voters back home, gotten re-elected and rethought her place in the world.  But McCarthy’s loyalty is to the system and Liz Cheney has connections to the system that are just as strong as his, maybe stronger, so he caved.

Now my loyalties are to normal people trying to make a living and raise their kids.  They are being assaulted on every side by every elitist run institution and by their camp followers in the managerial and bureaucratic establishments.  A Republican politician’s only motivation should be doing every single thing in his power to break the stranglehold these institutions have over his constituents’ lives.  If it’s not then he is just part of the problem.  And because he is flying under a false flag, he should be treated as all traitors are, with swift justice.  It’s the only way to discourage traitors.

So, there you have it.  We’re in no position to dream about the promised land where everything is run by our side and progressives are cast into the outer darkness and have to live on Styrofoam packing peanuts and wall paper glue.  Progressives run everything and our party is made up of finks and crooks.  But at least some of us know it.

And because we know what’s what, we can at least stop making our enemies our “leaders.”  We can at least withhold consent from those who hate us.  And maybe just maybe we’ll find some men who actually will help us.  Looking at the history of these things, it’ll probably be a Caesar.  He’ll want a lot.  But at this point I don’t think it could be any worse than what we have now.  I’m willing to roll the dice.

So, let’s say this is an optimist’s take.  At least now I won’t be kicking at any imaginary footballs.

How to Understand How the Democrats Work

For a lot of normal people in this country it’s hard to imagine how someone as loathsome and pathetic as Joe Biden could be allowed to reach the office of President of the United States.  After all, Joe was always just a small timer and no one ever mistook him for a genius.  So how did he get where he is today?

I guess the best way to explain it simply is that Joe Biden has always stayed bought.  Joe has paid his dues all along the path he has trod and everyone always knew that Joe would play his part and always, always stay bought.  Here was a guy that wanted his payoff and I’m sure that he always played ball with the power brokers and never did more than get his fair share.  He was smart enough to let someone else be his bagman and he made sure he scratched all the right backs.

So, when it was finally time for Barack Obama to pay back his godfather in the hierarchy, he was willing to give Slow Joe the boost he needed to enter the big leagues.  Now Joe could skim off the millions and even the billions if he sent his idiot son Hunter to China and Ukraine and wherever the next payday might be.

So now that Dementia Joe is heading for his last roundup with the Big Corn Pop in the Sky he can act as the segue for the next generation of Democrat grifters to enter the Big Leagues too.  That means Kamala and AOC and whatever other misfits are being groomed to move up a rung on the criminal conveyor belt that is our government.

And maybe you think I’m exaggerating.  How could such things exist?  Surely there are honest politicians.  Well, sure there are.  But they are held at arm’s length and mostly just ignored.  The crooks are in charge and they don’t care what you think.  The days of the FBI investigating corruption in the Congress are long gone.  It’s just part of the game.

Of course, I was able to see the local version of this when I was living in Massachusetts.  It was an open secret that for decades that the President of the Massachusetts Senate, Billy Bulger was the brother of the notorious mobster and murderer James “Whitey” Bulger.  Whitey had an accomplice in the person of an FBI field agent who allowed Whitey to use his immunity as a federal stool pigeon to get away with actual murder.  And of course, everyone knew that Billy’s brother was a killer and this actually enhanced his ability to get away with any kind of graft and corruption that he could think up.  Eventually the whole FBI scam blew up and Whitey had to flee into hiding for decades.  But Billie was able to retire from the Senate to an opulent job as the President of the University of Massachusetts.  Now that he’s fully retired, he’s been forced to fall back on his $200,000 a year Massachusetts state pension to avoid the poor house.  But luckily the next generation of Bulgers are hard at work.  One of them is actually working with Hunter Biden on the next generation of Democrat Party grifting.

Not every Democrat has a murderer for a brother.  But they all have friends and family that allow other politicians to have someone to pay off with a no-show job or a judgeship or a lucrative state franchise or you name it.  When contracts get awarded by state and local governments you can bet any amount of money there’s some kind of kick back going on there too.

So that’s how it is.  The Democrats line their pockets as part of their standard operating procedures.  But they make sure that everyone is part of the system and everyone is part of the coverup.  That’s why they aren’t afraid to perpetrate even an obvious election fraud.  Everyone involved in the election in Democrat districts is part of the scam and has a lot to lose if they played it straight.  So, they don’t play it straight.

It’s important that people don’t mistake our problem with Joe Biden as just one dirty politician.  It’s a corrupt system and as it stands there’s no way to reform it from the outside.  At this point the only way to avoid it is to walk away.  Find a state where they aren’t in control and hope the leaders there are smart and strong enough to protect you from the rot.
