While trying to finish the counting of an election that happened last Tuesday the city Board of Elections outraged the front-runner and anyone else who thought this would be a straight forward process. They announced that they had mistakenly included 135,000 test vote records in an initial tally and now need to go back and straighten everything out.
Uh huh. Sure that’s what you’ll do. Anyway, since it’s all Democrats who cares anyway? But the law and order candidate Eric Adams who was in the lead by a lot is very unhappy with what’s going on and since he’s a black man I have to assume that the rules of critical race theory demand that the next mistake goes in his favor.
Hilarity is sure to ensue and who knows maybe this breathes new life into the campaign hopes of Paperboy Love Prince.
Stay tuned for the blow out finish.
Someone named Andrew Coy is wondering exactly what would happen if it turns out Donald Trump won Arizona. He further speculates what would happen if the other swing states also do audits and it turns out Trump won those too.
He looks at the likely reaction by the Military and the Supreme Court. Interesting speculation. I haven’t thought about it enough myself yet. But I put it out there in case anyone was interested. I’ll reserve judgement for a few more weeks when the Arizona count is due to conclude. If it does come out in favor of President Trump that will be a big deal and then things could start getting very interesting.
It’s just becoming too painful to even read these things. It’s just embarrassing admitting this is still the United States. But you know what? This is what went on in the cities during the late nineteenth/early twentieth century. The only thing that has any effect is to organize and elect people who advocate for our issues. Money and power are the only thing politicians understand. We need to buy our own judges and buy our own legislators. They have to be bought and paid for the same way these clowns do it. Eventually we’ll need our own bureaucrats and our own army too.
Money and power are all they understand.
I read most of this wall of words report from Slate magazine. They seem kind of scared that the result will show that Joe Biden lost Arizona.
The forensic audit is apparently looking at more than just the ballot choice for president. I guess they’re looking for evidence of large scale fake ballots. They’re looking for evidence of mass produced ballots. Like one person filling out thousands of ballots. Hey that sounds smart. It should be interesting to see what comes of this.
If it does show that Trump should have won Arizona , then it will be more likely that other states will look at their results. Pennsylvania would be especially interesting because I think there the fraud was most egregious.
Now, it’s not completely assured that fraud can be proved. If the riggers were even semi-intelligent they would have made sure that their tracks were covered. But that’s a big “if.”
The count will be complete this month so we’ll know soon whether anything will come of this.
Today I spent the day with my family. No masks, no outdoor seating, no nothing. I spent the day with my children and their families. I spent hours with my grandchildren and I caught up with them about school and their hobbies and other things like what they were reading. And with the two youngest I played a game of catch that went on for a couple of hours. It was exhausting and wonderful. And then we had a grand meal. My son in law let my daughter relax for Mother’s Day and went outside and grilled steaks and salmon and we had a feast. And then we had some excellent Italian pastries and coffee.
And I sat down after dinner and talked to my oldest grandson who is a junior in high school and asked him about his math classes and he said he is doing well in calculus. He is much like me and I think he will end up in engineering or computer science. And we discussed some of his other activities. He has a 3D printer that I funded and I was glad to hear that he has learned how to replace the parts that wear out and make the adjustments needed to keep it working well. Later I spoke with my daughter and she told me about the straight A’s her son has been getting in math. And that made me happier than anything. I guessed that he would have academic abilities but I was afraid he would also have inherited from me a disregard for studying. I always depended on just raw ability to barely squeak by without doing anything but last-minute cramming. Hearing that he had picked up some discipline was music to my ears.
And I spoke with my next oldest grandson. He had grown a lot over the last year and now was almost as tall as his older brother. And we talked about his school sports. He loves playing soccer and basketball and now he’s added tennis to his games. He was happy about being able to play again now that school was returning to normal. I’ve seen him play and he has great enthusiasm and talent. And he was so personable and cheerful. That was personal growth and great to see.
The other two boys, the little guys were live wires and played and bickered with each other and gave me the chance to chide them about their outlaw behavior. We talked about dinosaurs and giant ants and ninjas. Of course.
I knew I missed all these things during this insane lockdown but now I remembered exactly what they felt like. Camera Girl and I were smiling all the way home and we went on and on about how good it was to see everyone and how we would have a pool party for the kids with a barbecue very soon.
And I think how much we were robbed of in the last year. Our children were cheated out of a year of their education. Our neighbors were cheated out of the businesses they had built up over the course of a lifetime. Our country was cheated out of the freedoms that have been the birthright of this country for centuries. And all of us were cheated out of the government we voted for.
All of this was done under the false pretense that COVID was a deadly plague that threatened everyone. We were lied to and bullied into giving up all these things and then humiliated into walking around with a pathetic mask that was supposedly keeping away the invisible invader. We had to forego human contact with those we cared for the most. Even those who actually did die from the virus had to die alone in a hospital surrounded by masked strangers.
But now we see that the masks did nothing and all the same people lived or died regardless of these useless gestures. In Florida the people were freed from the masks and other restrictions and they had lower death rates than New York where everyone remained locked down for a year. And now maybe people will start to wake up from this charade and hold responsible those who perpetrated this fraud on us. Newsom and Cuomo and Fauci are the names that stand out. But there are dozens of governors and mayors who locked up their people and enjoyed their little reign of terror. They locked up innocent people but let the BLM gangsters have free rein to form mobs of people and terrorize the hard-working people of their states.
So, the nonsense about COVID has stopped scaring people. Now we have to decide if we are going to get our lives back the way they were. If we can’t do that then we’re slaves here and should look around for a better place to live.
I heard a funny story. At work a woke guy was virtue signaling to his colleagues and described how he brought his kids to attend a BLM protest in the downtown of his city and how successful the outing was. So, one of his co-workers asked, “Oh? How successful? Did you get a forty or sixty inch?”
I was on a zoom today with some friends that hadn’t spoken all together since Election Night. We had a bunch of stuff to discuss because of just how crazy everything has gotten since November. I won’t go into any details because it’s not my place to and because it’s neither here nor there for this post but suffice it to say that in general it was about how to avoid the worst problems of living in the gulag. And I will say that the tone was surprisingly upbeat.
But what is relevant about that discussion was an attitude. Each one of us had been to a greater or lesser degree angry and dejected by the obvious fraud back in November. But over the course of the following months and the unfolding outrages perpetrated by all levels and branches of American government that led to Dementia Joe being perjured in to office behind razor wire and drawn bayonets, we absorbed that damage from the fraudulent election and shrugged it off. And now we’re openly contemptuous of not only the Pretend President but of the whole Managerial State in all its monolithic putrescence.
The men on that call had only one thing in common. We each grew up in New York City while it was still part of a free America. We remember what things are supposed to be like in this country. We recognize and will deflect the Orwellian practices that the woke fascists have adopted in every branch of their lockstep complex. Their goal, basically, is the suppression of freedom in all its dimensions. They want to memory hole the truth about our world. They rewrite the history books and purge books; movies and even stupid television shows to stop people from having their feelings hurt about who and what they are. But we know that won’t prevent us from living our lives the way we want. We’ll bring our children up to know the truth.
And we traded some good stories about the idiocy that is unfolding in DC. We all got a good laugh over that old, bald, fat guy in a dress and wig that Dopey Joe put in his cabinet. It was emblematic of the whole woke nightmare that we are enduring. A mental patient who can’t tell the difference between being a man and being a woman is put in charge of a major federal health agency and we are the ones accused of being anti-science.
But the other thing we all agreed on was that we’re ready to start making plans to get together this summer. And this time it won’t be virtual it’ll be face to face. By then even if that doddering old idiot hunkered down in the White House basement still wants to make believe that the black death is stalking the landscape, we are going to have a barbecue and celebrate God’s miracle of summer.
So, this was another good day. I spoke to real Americans and mocked the losers who are pretending to be our masters. I made plans to get together with people who believe the same things I do and Camera Girl is cooking one of my favorite dishes. That’s a pretty good day.
Larry Correia is one of my favorite sf&f authors, being the creator of the Monster Hunter and Grimnoir urban fantasy series. But in an earlier life he was an accountant who had frequent involvement in government audits of various sorts. His cranky opinion on the hypocritical double standard that the Democrats are maintaining concerning auditing the elections seemed very apt. If you’ve already had enough of the election stuff you can skip this.
According to current US federal law the man who will be President of the United States for the next four years will be sworn in on January 20th 2021. Who that man will be is the subject of the most heated debate this country has seen in the last two hundred years of presidential elections. So far, the electoral college has declared Joe Biden to be the winner of the presidential election. It only remains for the Congress to certify this declaration on January 6th. Whether there is a way to convince Congress to intervene against the Electoral College vote is what is currently holding the entire country mesmerized.
President Trump has stated on numerous occasions that he has sufficient proof of electoral fraud to permit the election results to be put aside. Whether that proof is overwhelming enough to convince most of the American people is the first question. The second question is, even if this proof is convincing, will Congress act on this proof and overturn the Electoral College result? As with everyone else I am waiting impatiently for the event. January 6th is ten days away. When and how will this proof be presented? Will it be broadcast to the whole nation or will it be transmitted to the Supreme Court? Will it be incontestable or just testimony that cannot be verified independently?
The whole situation is so unprecedented that until recently I would have declared the very idea of Congress taking such unprecedented action as inconceivable. But I would also have thought that the fraudulent voting activities that openly went on in the swing states inconceivable too. And the idea that a corrupt dementia patient will be installed in the White House by means of an openly stolen election is so outrageous I would be willing to accept just about any series of events that would prevent that disaster from taking place.
At the same time I think the Left would resist any attempt to prevent Biden from reaching the White House by any means necessary, up to and including armed insurrection. This makes it even more mind boggling to imagine what kind of proof would be so unassailable that spineless politicians would risk their precious necks to do the right thing.
For all of these reasons and because of how many legal challenges have already been shot down by the courts it seems like it would take a certified miracle to fix this heinous crime that is wending its way inexorably toward fruition. But I want to believe that it will happen. Because otherwise it will be an enormous step in the total unwinding of the normal reality I used to believe we inhabited.
If the United States has descended all the way down to banana republic status then everything else that is dependent on the United States being a great and stable nation is also without foundation. Think of the things that rest on the certainty that the United States is the unshakable moorings of our civilization. The mutual defense organizations like NATO are founded on the stability and strength of the United States and its military and economic might. The US dollar is the reserve currency of the whole world. It is based on the integrity that the US government has in the eyes of the American nation. If all of these things are just fairy tales that the American elites tell the peasants and now those peasants have stopped believing them what might not happen?
What if a disgruntled American general decides to hijack a bunch of ICBM silos and declare himself the Emperor of Middle America? How soon before the Russians and the Chinese start to think that lobbing a rogue missile into Manhattan would be an excellent way to get a nuclear civil war going?
We live in very troubled times. And it’s pretty clear that most of our leaders are useless. When you look back in history, times like these seem to breed revolution and then tyrants of one stripe or another. It’s genuinely depressing to think about but it has to be faced. We will need an extraordinary amount of luck to navigate the next few years without crashing on the reefs that these troubled seas contain. But I suppose it won’t be boring.
One of the commenters, Aric, on the post “The Deplorables Are Waiting for a Sign” attached this link. I watched it and I have to say it has an impact. Take a look if you have ten minutes.
