What’s Wrong with the Republican Party? – Willard Mitt Romney!

If anyone needs to see proof that the Establishment Republicans are a total failure, he needs look no further than Mitt Romney.  Here is a man that was the 2012 standard bearer for the party running for President and selecting Paul Ryan as his running mate.  A wealthy man that belongs to one of the most socially conservative religious groups in the country.  The son of a famous political figure and himself the past governor of one of the country’s most liberal states and the present United States Senator from one of the country’s most conservative states.  A man that made his fortune buying companies and selling off their assets.  It’s a good way to get rich but leaves a lot of Americans out of work.

Why is he a leader in the Republican party?  Because he is smart, energetic, rich and he wants to do good.  Why is he a failure?  Because he doesn’t have a clue as to what it means to be a conservative.  Everything he says is conditional on who he is talking to and what he is trying to accomplish.  When he was running for Teddy Kennedy’s Senate seat in Massachusetts, he was pro-choice.  When he was running for President, he was pro-life and “extremely conservative.”  When he needed President Trump’s endorsement for the Senate, he was deferential and polite.  Once installed he has been a constant critic of the President and a reliable source of anti-Trump quotes for the media.

And because he doesn’t know what conservatism is, he can’t lead conservatives.  They’ll know that when push comes to shove, he’ll sell them out to try and please his liberal friends or to avoid being called a racist, sexist, transphobe, xenophobe, whatever.

This is very much the same syndrome observed with the Bush family.  A wealthy patrician family with a history of political service who mistake their elite sensibilities with conservatism.  In reality the only thing they know how to conserve is their family fortunes.

But I contend that Romney is a special case.  His years in Massachusetts as Whipping Boy for the Democrat establishment, mocked and blamed for everything that was already wrong in the Bay State, has made him so pliable that he no longer even has to be shamed into caving into whatever progressive lunacy of the day is on exhibit.  He’s begun to adopt them on his own.  In this he’s reminiscent of John McCain.  Here’s a man who struggled from his sick bed, dying from brain cancer to vote to save Obamacare, something he had fought tooth and nail to prevent from coming into existence just a few years before.  Basically, these men live by the issue polls they sponsor and the donors who pay for their Senate votes.  They acquiesce to whatever the fad of the day is and they spin like a weather vane wherever the political winds blow.

This is leadership?

Some of it’s our own fault.  We need to know what’s bad for us and regardless of how many smart people tell us that something can’t be changed for the better we need to find men who believe what we believe and are willing to fight to preserve or restore these good things.  We need strategies that move things in the direction we want.  We need men smart enough to counteract the progressive tactics and willing to fight fire with fire.  We need to support those people and institutions that reflect what we believe in.  We need to live up to the values we think are important.  Things like loyalty to family, loyalty to friends and community, some sense of decorum in the way we live and interact with each other.

President Trump has proven categorically that all the things they say can’t be done, can be done.  Granted, you have to have skin as thick as an elephant’s and brass cajones to withstand the mental and political assault by the Deep State and the Media.  But it can and must be done.  Otherwise we might as well look for a new place to live.

But back to the original thesis.  We can’t keep voting for the McCains and the Bushes and the Paul Ryans of this party.  And we damn well can’t listen to anything Mitt Romney ever says about anything.  In fact, a safe policy would be to do exactly the opposite of whatever he proposes to do.  Personally, I wish him all the health and success in the world for him and his family.  Politically I wish Utah had a recall law that would allow the voters to correct the mistake they made in 2018.

07OCT2019 – OCF Update

Wednesday the last Twilight Zone episode review will be posted.  I finished it last night.  One hundred fifty six posts, that’s quite a milestone!  As I’ve mentioned I’ll follow up with some full series analysis and commentary but before that I’m going to do some new stuff.  I’ll review the Star Trek Original Series pilot soon.  That should be fun.  In the weeks ahead, mocking Shatner, Nimoy and all the rest should be like a rejuvenating serum for me.  That should be fun.  I’ll have to come up with terminology to categorize the various acting devices that Shatner uses to ply his magical trade.  “O, brave new world that has such people in’t!”

And I want to do some more of the Heinlein Juveniles reviews and finally, Halloween is sneaking up and I have to do some classic horror posts.  I reviewed the Universal Classic Monster movies in the past.  I may repost  some of them or write some new stuff and link the old posts in.

It’s good to do some of the fun stuff.  As much as I want to cover all the gory details of the President Trump’s battle royale with the Deep State I need to think about fun, interesting things too.  Even trying to think of ways to flourish in this cock-eyed globalist fever dream is less depressing than contemplating the fact that James Comey, John Brennan, Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden aren’t behind bars.

Fall has taken hold here in New England and if I get the chance I’ll try to get some foliage photos.  But I still have a lot of summer photos to upload so it will be a while before they show up on the site.  I do want to do some more photo gear reviews and I plan to rent the Sony A 9 II when it comes available.  Honestly I certainly don’t need it but I’m curious just how capable the “state of the art” moving object autofocus is.  Plus I still need to rent the Sony 200mm – 600mm lens.

I’m tempted to go see the Joaquin Phoenix Joker movie that’s out.  But it actually looks like an autobiography of one of those nuts who shoots up a movie theater showing the Joker, so I’m not sure I’ll enjoy it all that much.  We’ll see.

Stay tuned, plenty will be going on in the wide wonderful world to thrill and apall us.

The Liarwatha Strategy

As much as it pains me, I think I’ll have to accept that we’re going to lose Creepy Uncle Joe.  As my regular readers are aware of, I opined that Biden would be the candidate.  And I waxed poetic on the glories of a Biden filled debate experience, the gaffes, the non-sequiturs, possibly even lewd hand gestures.  But it was not meant to be.

This isn’t easy for me to accept.  I was sure he’d have staying power and once he unleashed the “Corn Pop” narrative I thought the troops would rally around his standard.  But I fear it’s too late.  Knowledge of just how crooked Joe and Hunter Biden were has permeated the American consciousness.  I fear Uncle Joe is toast.  No more sidling up and shoulder clutching or hair sniffing.  I fear Joe has fondled his last ambassador’s wife.

Ahh, well.

So, who shall it be?  Well things have settled out and the outcome seems clear.  Fauxcahantas is neck and neck with Creepy Uncle Joe and his backers are pulling back.  Comrade Bernie had a heart attack and appears relatively low energy at this point.  His numbers are trailing off and I assume he’ll be out of the race after New Hampshire.  No one else besides these three has been able to break single digits since early August.  At this point Kamala, Mayor Butt, Spartacus and the rest of that pack of losers are running to see who will be the running mate.  Therefore, Granny Clampett will be the Dem nominee.

Now that I’ve reconciled with the loss of Uncle Joe, it’s time to analyze the correct strategy for defeating the Fake Indian.  And that is an important thing to do.  She will get the same royal treatment that Hillary got when she was running.  As soon as she is the presumptive nominee all polls from that point forward will permanently show her ahead of the President by between five and twenty percentage points.  Also, she will receive nothing but favorable press and every week will feature a puff piece explaining how a woman president is not only the natural result of evolution but also what is predicted, based on being on the right side of history.  And Bill Kristol will declare her the true conservative choice in the race.

I think the important thing to remember is that she will undoubtedly get 100% of the college educated, unmarried, white women’s vote (aka blue-haired cat ladies, present and future).  This is her natural constituency, what the Z-Man would call the vinegar drinking scolds.  She will also get a large chunk of soccer moms, maybe 45% – 55%.  She will get 0% of white working-class men and women.  She will get 30% of upper and middle-class white men.  She will get 95% of the black vote.  She will get 65% of the Hispanic vote.

But here’s the important point, black and Hispanic voters will only come out to vote for her if they are motivated to do so.  If their voters aren’t excited about her, they’ll stay home in droves.  And aside from her fifth-grade teacher’s-nails on the chalkboard-voice, what would turn off the minority voters?  Well how about a fluorescently white woman who used a fake story of minority ancestry to get her a spot on the Faculty of Harvard Law School?  Gee, that might raise a little resentment.  If you were Mexican or Guatemalan, would you want someone who benefitted obscenely from pretending to have Native American blood getting your vote?  I’m guessing not.  And even if she’s pushing slavery reparations and has Kamala Harris as her running mate, I’m not sure that the black voters are really going to embrace her.  Basically, she’s not exactly Barack Obama.

So how do you highlight her dishonesty?  One thing that would work would be to have a tv ad with a Native American spokesman condemning her for the dishonesty and injustice of stealing a spot reserved for someone who truly was a Native American.  This could be reinforced with the text released by the Cherokee nation condemning Warren for her dishonesty and for using her DNA test as some kind of feeble defense.

The timing of this campaign is probably best delayed until the run up to the actual election day.  The middle of October seems like the right time.  Coordinated with this strategy, it would make sense for the President to go after her during the debates on her dishonesty.  A sort of relentless drum beat of accusations on her dishonesty and unfairness to Native Americans sounds like a winning strategy to me.  And, of course it wouldn’t hurt to showcase some of her other weak points.  Her acceptance of the insanely stupid “Green New Deal” that Ocasio-Cortez dreamed up should be especially easy to attack.  With a price tag that probably far exceeds estimates of $94 trillion and an agenda that will crash our economy and deprive us of the energy sources that make modern life economically possible any rational voters will reject candidate who has bought into it.

But the most appealing strategy to apply against Liarwatha is to appeal to people’s innate fear of having to listen interminably to her annoying voice.  The prospect of being hectored for four years by a shrew like her would make any man and many women recoil in horror.  I envision a commercial with a cartoon version of Betty Warren shaking her finger at a crowd of Americans and lecturing them about their responsibilities to the future and reminding them that whatever individual accomplishments they may have achieved that, “you didn’t build that!”

Well, I guess if I have to give up Creepy Uncle Joe, Fauxcahantas won’t be so bad.  I estimate there’s at least a 30% chance she’ll stroke out during the debates.  And after defeating Hillary and Liarwatha the Dems may give the woman candidate thing a pass in 2024.  But then again who knows.  We can always hope that Joe comes back as an 82-year-old trans-gender Creepy Grandma Josephine for an even more exciting race in the future.  He did say there were at least three genders.

Reclaiming the Family – Part 2 – The Family Business

Reclaiming the Family – Part 1 – Bring Back the Dowry

Back in the 1960s when I was a kid. My father told me that the key to success was getting as much education as I could in a technical field and working for private industry. In my own lazy and wayward manner, I took his advice and on the whole the advice was actually very sound. I ended up in engineering, supported my family through their college years and lived a reasonably comfortable existence at a step beyond what my parents had.

Fast forward to 2019. I have grandsons who will be coming of age in the next five to ten years. Would my father’s advice be as good for them as it was for me? Maybe, maybe not. Let’s look at some of the factors that have changed.

Back when I was young, the American economy was the engine of world economic growth. Technical innovation in almost every field occurred primarily here. Computer science was the greatest innovation but advances in materials science, chemistry, medicine and electronics were remarkable. Jobs in all fields went through booms and busts in synchrony with the business cycles but people raised families, bought houses and sent their kids to college on the strength of American industry employing them consistently. And this was at all levels. They needed production personnel, tradesmen, maintenance workers, support staff, along with scientists, engineers, accountants, lawyers and business managers. America worked.

But starting in the early 1990s American business got the bright idea that American business didn’t need American workers. First slowly then rapidly, jobs were shifted from where labor was expensive to where it was dirt cheap. NAFTA was the beginning of this. A factory across the border in Juarez could build automotive parts for a fraction of what it would cost in El Paso right across the border in Texas. But things really got out of hand when the globalists shifted whole industries to China. I personally saw the beginning of the export of polystyrene manufacturing to China in the 1990s and assume that the wholesale loss of intellectual property happened in just the same way with all the other industries that were sent there to avoid the environmental regulations and the normal labor costs in the United States. And with those industries went all the manufacturing jobs that had existed with them here. In my later career I was in an industry that was relatively immune to this devastation but lately between off-shoring and the importation of Indian and Chinese scientists and engineers the same kind of fate awaits these higher-level jobs and the kids coming out of school hoping for them.

For now, the crème de la crème of the best professional schools can hope to find good jobs in the legacy industries remaining in the United States. But for everyone else, it is an uncertain and changeable environment.

Recently what I’ve been thinking about is small business ownership. If you can select an industry that is relatively hard to replace by cheap overseas labor, owning your own business can both help someone raising a family and also provide jobs for a family that will be needing them as they reach maturity. Running a business is never easy, so it’s important to keep that in mind. However, it has become easier for businesses to become successful these days, especially with technology and online marketing. This allows us to advertise our business to so many more people all around the world. With a good website and some strategic marketing, businesses should be able to grow a lot quicker. When focusing on marketing, it’s believed to be more beneficial to invest in online marketing and SEO these days. By getting in touch with a company like Victorious (https://victoriousseo.com/services/seo-audit/), more businesses could enjoy success a lot quicker. Of course, online marketing is only one method of marketing, it’s still important for business owners to look into strategies to grow their business themselves. However, it could set your family up for life.

What kinds of businesses could these be? The obvious ones are the building and business trades. Electricians, carpenters, plumbers, HVAC installers, roofers, mechanics, IT technicians, and repairmen. Of course, there are all kinds of businesses that haven’t been completely devastated by cheap Chinese crap from Amazon.com. Custom manufacturers and specialty equipment manufacturers, specialty metal workers, and welders all provide products and services for businesses that still exist in the US. Someone who is good at orbital sanitary welding and is conscientious about the paperwork that goes along with it can make a good living servicing the needs of microelectronics and pharmaceutical customers.

The way I think about it, if you’ve spent your life building up expertise maybe you can use some of these skills to start or buy a business that you can work your children into. Giving your children a leg up in the kind of world we live in today sounds like something that makes sense. Schooling will still have its value but instead of spending hundreds of thousands of dollars to get to Stanford, you could go to State Tech and then go to work for the family business.

I’m still working on my own version of this plan but I throw it out there as an idea.

Of course, it’s not a panacea. There’s no guarantee that your kids will be interested in the field you start a business in. After all, if your kid wants to be astrophysicist chances are, he won’t want to be a plumber. And it’s not uncommon that family members cannot work together because of differences in temperament.

But there are advantages to working for families that are unique. Transitioning a business from a father to his sons provides a flexible environment for on the job training, reasonable terms for both sides of the ownership transition, and the possibility for someone even beyond normal retirement age to provide real value to the business on a part-time basis. It might even make long term health care more affordable for the older generation.

Obviously, many people aren’t in a position to start a small business, especially while raising a family. It might even be more applicable to grandfathers but I think it’s another way to try to protect your family from the negative changes that the American business world has seen in the last generation. Something to consider.

Reclaiming the Family – Part 3 – Recruit Grandma and Grandpa

A Very Unfunny Joke

A priest, a rabbi and a minister happen to meet in a bar.  Everybody has heard these kinds of jokes.  Let’s try a different kind of joke.  A cokehead, a gangster’s nephew and the heir to a ketchup fortune met in Washington.  Well that doesn’t sound as funny.  Wait, it gets better.  Especially since the gangster is the recently dearly departed Whitey Bulger, the cokehead’s father is Joe Biden and John Kerry is the stepfather of the Prince of Ketchup.  Ah, now you see.  Each of these men has been able to turn nepotism into a pot of gold.  There’s definitely something funny going on there but it’s definitely not a coincidence that these three men met up.  Joe Biden and John Kerry were powerful members of the Obama administration who allowed their relatives to trade off their names with foreign governments that could benefit from decisions of the Obama administration.  James Bulger is just the latest manifestation of the Massachusetts proclivity for shady politics.  James’s father, Billy Bulger, was Whitey’s brother but he was also the President of the Massachusetts Senate for eighteen years and used his influence to enrich himself and his family and insinuate them into circles that would perpetuate their influence.  And, of course, John Kerry and Billy Bulger are old Bay State friends.

Apparently, this is what all the hullaballoo was about with the Russia-gate scam.  The Obama administration was a giant grift where the leaders used their relatives to siphon off billions using influence peddling operations.  If China wanted to buy up American military technology companies, well Hunter Biden would partner with them to make it seem legitimate.  It meant greasing some palms, but the Chinese got what they wanted and so did the Bidens.  It sounds a lot like the Clinton uranium scam for the Russians.  And it also includes the Ukraine grift.  And after Hillary and company lost the election, they started the Russiagate frame-up to deflect attention from their own foreign crimes.  And yet somehow, we’re supposed to believe that the same CIA and FBI that seems to have wire-taps in every room in the White House didn’t know a thing about Hillary’s and Biden’s grifts.  That’s the unfunny joke.

I watched Rudy Giuliani make the rounds with the television political pundits.  He laid out the evidence and made the case that all the evidence being ignored by the Press and the Deep State is a mountain compared to the molehill of the alleged whistleblower in the CIA that is all over the front pages of all the MSM outlets.  He declared he is waiting for the Justice Department to do something about it.  But will they?

We are about to find out if Barr is a real American or just another swamp dweller.  With all the information out there, if the Justice Department takes no action at all then basically Trump is on his own.  In fact, wouldn’t Barr know that someone had changed the definition of whistleblower to include hearsay?  Could something as rigged as that rule change happen without alarm bells going off in the Attorney General’s office?

But an even larger issue is the fact that the surveillance state now controls the actions of the President of the United States.  Unelected spies control the actions of our elected officials and spy on all of us too.  President Trump has the unenviable task of draining the swamp while fighting off the nine-headed Lernaean Hydra of mythology that inhabits the swamp.  And just like that mythical beast every time one head is cut off (e.g., Comey or Brennan) three more grow back.

I’ve come to believe that the only way to get back control of our country is to dismantle the surveillance apparatus.  In a way I think it would be a good platform for the President to run on in 2020.  Purging Washington of these wannabe KGB masterminds would be popular with many moderates and independents too.

When I imagine how I would tackle the job that Barr is supposed to do, I imagine assembling all the upper echelons of, let’s say, the CIA and after explaining how allowing the resistance to sabotage the Trump Administration is dereliction of duty I’d fire the whole top level of the organization.  Then while these big shots were being rudely escorted off the premises, I would address their direct reports with the following ultimatum, provide evidence of who the remaining obstructionists are or immediately follow their former bosses out the door.  I would give them at least five minutes to make up their minds if they wanted to cooperate and if they didn’t volunteer information by then I’d have them escorted out the door and move on to the next echelon down.  This plan has the advantage that as you move down the chain of command the importance of a pay check becomes more and more critical.  Eventually you will reach someone who would rather be an employed civil servant than an unemployed resistance fighter.

As you can see, I have a very unsubtle way of looking at things but the point is, cleaning out that rat’s nest needs to be done somehow or other.  When rampant government malfeasance is ignored by the FBI and CIA but these same agencies abuse their power to hamper the legitimately elected representatives of the people it’s time to start over.

Now that the President has started down this road it can’t be more than a week or two before we know whether Barr is there to clean up or cover up the mess.  Fingers crossed.

A Busy Week for Right Wing Political Observers

Well, the week has been action packed.  The Climate Nuts are panicking the children and the feeble minded with their Children’s Crusade.  The President humorously mocked the sixteen-year-old climate activist who has been screeching at her supporters all week.  Very funny indeed.

Now Nancy Pelosi and President Trump are sparring over the Ukraine and its investigation of Biden and his son.  Pelosi has begun a formal Impeachment proceeding and all the usual suspects are screaming that treason has been committed and heads will roll.  Of course, the fact that it was Biden and his son that were shaking down the Ukrainians under Obama’s regime is ignored.

And just in case that isn’t enough the British Supreme Court has declared the Prime Minister’s suspension of Parliament illegal.

Interestingly enough Rasmussen shows the President’s approval rating at its highest point in two years (52%).

Well, what does all this mean?  Just that President Trump and his enemies are locked in the death struggle that they’ve had going on for the last four years.  But the difference is he’s eliminated some of the really weak links in his team.  If Jeff Sessions were still Attorney General by now, he would have recused himself in favor of Rod Rosenstein and a new special prosecutor would be drip-dripping stories to the New York Times and Rachel Maddow would be starting her death watch for the Trump Administration again.

But not this time.  Instead, the FBI is investigating the Biden Ukraine scandal and even I am starting to have doubts about Creepy Uncle Joe making it to the convention.  Lately Fauxcahantas has overtaken Bernie in the polls and has even passed Biden in the Iowa poll.  The youth contingent of the progressives is happy to see that an old white guy won’t be the candidate but the party leaders are worried that the Fake Indian won’t get the enthusiastic support of the black community.  In particular, black women haven’t really embraced Warren.  This kind of uncertainty is very good for our side.  It won’t give the Dems as much time to memory hole the dirt on whichever candidate gets through.  And it will make it harder to recruit the Veep for the ticket.  After all Creepy Joe is a strange weirdo but compared to the likes of Warren or Harris, he’s almost Santa Claus.

Many right wing pundits fear Fauxcahantas as the more formidable opponent in 2020.  I will admit that she hasn’t forgotten what state she’s in or mixed up which decade things happened like Plugs Biden has, but she’s a deeply unlikeable woman whose only natural constituency is middle aged professional white women.  Men find her voice comparable to fingernails screeching over a chalk board.  In other words, sort of like Hillary Clinton.

Also, she has publicly stated that she supports Medicaid for all, free healthcare for illegal aliens and the ludicrously expensive and hopelessly ineffective Green New Deal.  I think even Jeb Bush could manage to attack her over those awful policies.  But it won’t be Jeb at the debates it will be the Man Who Buried Hillary.  The only real question is whether he calls her Liarwatha during his opening statement or during the first round of questions.

So far this has been a very interesting week.  Many people feel that President Trump intentionally initiated this Ukraine dust-up to force Pelosi to begin impeachment.  At this point, that seems possible.  The consensus is that Pelosi wanted to save an impeachment drama for closer to the election to hurt the President’s election chances.  But letting the Ukraine investigate Biden’s son would throw a cloud over the current leading candidate’s campaign and breed fear, uncertainty and depression for the Dems.  It’s sort of a lose/lose situation for the Dems.  There is the chance that forcing the country to go through an impeachment process this close to the election and for no good reason could throw the House of Representatives to the Republicans next year and strengthen President Trump’s hand immeasurably.

And finally getting back to the Brexit situation it remains to be seen if Boris Johnson will be willing to allow a Hard Brexit to occur by refusing to request an extension from the EU.  If that occurs, he could possibly be charged with a crime.  This really is an amazing situation.  It will take guts to do it but if he does it might make him the most popular Prime Minister since Winston Churchill.

Stay tuned.  Things seem to be heating up.

Climate Catastrophe and Firefly

Today I watched that clip of teenage Swedish drama queen Greta Thunberg harnessing some kind of climate panic attack to call us out on the evil we’re doing to the planet.  Now considering that she rode a jet to get to the UN climate conference it’s a little thick having to listen to her harangue us because we heat our houses and drive to work to be able to feed our children.  But she is a sixteen-year-old girl and they tend to be pretty crazy at that age.  Anyway, I’m watching the rant and it seems like I recognize her from somewhere.  And then it hits me, Greta Thunberg is actually River Tam from Firefly!  And now it all makes perfect sense.  If you were a fan of the show you know that River was the victim of clandestine brain surgery by the Alliance, in the quest to turn her into a four foot eleven, eighty-seven-pound, mind reading, super soldier.  Of course, she’s crazy.  That kind of diabolical amygdala scraping will leave the victim incapable of distinguishing climate hoax form reality.

At this point all the craziness started making sense.  In the Firefly universe Earth’s ecosystem collapsed.  River has been recaptured by the Alliance and reprogrammed to parrot the climate change speeches her tormentors have fed her poor battered mind.  The fiends!  No matter, I could detect that even while she spoke a vein throbbing over her eye was actually spelling out a message in Morse code.  It spelled out the message, “It’s not anthropogenic global warming, it’s really only solar output fluctuation.”  She misspelled anthropogenic and she also added, “Jayne’s a girl’s name.” But that was just reflex.  So brave, so brave.

So, there you have it.  Her handlers (or parents if you don’t mind the charade) trot her out to enflame the demented climate mob.  But how can she be rescued from this awful enslavement.  Can Simon Tam call on the Resistance (not that Resistance) to smuggle him into the Alliance prison and once again break her out?  Or can Mal, Zoe and Jayne use their skills as Space Pirates to swoop down and scoop her up in the cargo hold of Serenity?

But what then?  How can the diabolical brainwashing be cured?  She must be close to total insanity.  I mean she believes the world will end in ten years.  So sad, so sad.

But then a pop-up ad for hair restoration services opened up and I got distracted so I don’t have the answers I need to solve this conundrum.  I’ll have to re-watch my blue ray copies of Firefly and Serenity to try to figure out the best path forward.  I only pray we’re not too late to save her.

Of course, she was the most annoying character on the show and I agreed with Jayne that she should be handed back to the Alliance.  Hmmm.

Anyway, that film clip was hands down the dopiest emotional display of unalloyed teenage stupidity to come down the pike since that imbecilic kid David Hogg road his bicycle to the Parkland shooting.  She really deserves to be mocked for the ridiculous hyperbole she spouts.  At the very least her parents should be brought up on child abuse charges for allowing her to be used as a trained seal by the climate scammers.

Finally, Whedon is a tool for killing off Wash.  That was totally wrong.

22SEP2019 Update – The Dem Race Begins to Take Shape

So, this week we’ve lost Bill DeBlasio.  As the President mentioned, New York City is in a panic because Bill’s returning there and sure to cause fresh havoc in Gotham City.

And word has come down from Spartacus that unless his backers send him $1.7 million before September 30th, he’s going to drop his shield and short sword and drop out of the race.  Kind of makes you wonder a little about why he’s in the race.  What I want to know is who will keep the white supremacists in check if Cory drops out of the race.  I mean sure, Creepy Uncle Joe and Kamala Harris are woke to the threat of rampaging gun-wielding white fascists but Spartacus was the one who made it his signature issue.  And without a doubt Beto has laid claim to the gun grabbing title with his hats, coffee mugs and other branded paraphernalia but Spartacus was so much more real.  Yes, Cory Booker will be missed by those supremacists.

Today I read that Fauxcahantas has taken a two-point lead over Creepy Joe in Iowa.  Losing Uncle Joe so early in the process would be a blow.  The whole problem of his son and the Ukraine could spell the end of my prediction for Joe to be the November victim for President Trump.  So sad, so sad.  Well if it’s to be Fauxcahantas (and I’m not admitting to it yet) then let it be Fauxcahantas and Kamala Harris.  That is a dream ticket for President Trump.  Between the shrieks of Fauxcahantas and the whining and crying of Harris there wouldn’t be a man in America with a testosterone level above zero who would vote for that nightmare.  Now the flip side of that is every cat lady and power skirt in the country will try to vote twice for them.  But somehow, I don’t see them getting much of the female black vote.

Bernie is now only ahead of Warren in New Hampshire where he is shown trailing Joe by about a point.  But nationally the Fake Indian is leading him by a couple of points.  Bernie won’t drop out soon.  He’s got a lot of money and a loyal core of Bernie Bros who won’t desert him.

Pete Butt also has a good pile of cash to keep him going and the desire to be Vice President and I see him hanging in there for a good long time.  But as to who would select him for Veep, maybe Harris?  I’m guessing nobody really wants him aboard.

So, of the candidates who still might be around in a few weeks, that leaves Beto.  I think Harris would like to have him for a Veep.  He’s so incredibly shallow and stupid that by comparison even she would look sort of intelligent.  And he’s got a skateboard you know.  He’ll definitely get the poser and hipster vote motivated.

All the rest of the losers hovering around at 3% or lower will be gone by Halloween.  It’s pretty clear that the Media wants Creepy Uncle Joe to drop out.  They’re afraid that he’s too senile and has too many skeletons in his closet to beat the President.  And they’re right but honestly, it’s not as if Bernie or Fake Indian aren’t just as looney.  It’s that old white guy just seems impossible for their narrative.

Emotionally I’m tied to the idea of Creepy Uncle Joe going into the debates.  The spastic hilarity just draws me in.  But Fake Indian is great too.  Fauxcahantas has more than one arrow in her quiver if I may be permitted to use the metaphor.  She shrieks and her eyes bulge behind her Granny Clampett glasses and she gestures and gesticulates like some demented third grade teacher.  There is greatness there.

But never let it be said that I’m a fair-weather friend.  I’m sticking with Crazy Uncle Joe to the bitter end.  The only condition I put on his candidacy is if he strokes out.  If he does, I’ll pull support.  I can’t be responsible for the death of anyone, even Creepy Uncle Joe.

So, let’s recap.  With the Media and nervous big money pushing to anoint Fauxcahantas, Creepy Uncle Joe is hoping to weather the Ukraine thing while Bernie plods along waving the Hammer and Sickle flag of Communism for the Bernie Bros to see.  The only losers who’ll hang in for the Veep sweepstakes look like Harris, Beto, Mayor Pete Butt and maybe Spartacus.  I’m holding out for Uncle Joe but the vultures are beginning to circle.  Stay tuned for more excitement in October.
