Just in Time for Christmas Cowards Cave to Toy Blackmail

Lego announced that they’ve signed up with the feminists and LGBTQ mafia to demonize boys who like traditional boys’ toys like their expensive blocks sets.  This si coming out just when California had to legislate against stores having separate aisles for boys’ and girls’ toys.

The article stated,

In a statement released on October 10, Lego announced that it would work with both the Geena Davis Institute and UNICEF to make sure that its “products and marketing are accessible to all and free of gender bias and harmful stereotypes.”

Well I’ll just give my opinion.  If any toy manufacturer goes the full nine yards and stresses gender bias and harmful stereotypes, then they’re guaranteed my business.  I’m completely happy with my grandsons playing with swords and guns and my granddaughters playing with dolls and kitchen sets.  That’s just the dinosaur I am.

Dave Chappelle – The Only Man in America Who Has Freedom of Speech

First things first.  Dave Chappelle is not a right-wing guy.  As far as I can tell he’s more or less a leftie.  But he’s a comedian and he makes fun of lots of things.  He makes fun of black people and white people and Asian people and whatever other people there are out there.  And being black he can do that.  But can he get away with satirizing the LGBTQ mafia?  Turns out the answer is, so far yes!  Chappelle seems to be so popular and so commercially valuable that Netflix has refused to cave to the cancel culture’s demand to kill his latest comedy special, “Closer.”

Closer is the sixth and last installment in a series that Chappelle produced for Netflix.  And in the previous episode Chappelle talked about how the speech codes around LGBTQ people were a sore point with his business partners in TV and Hollywood.  He could use derogatory names for white people and black people and brown people and yellow people but he couldn’t for queer people.  And he let you know that rubbed him the wrong way.

In this latest installment he zeros in on the phenomenon of cancellation against anyone who admits to believing that a so-called trans-man or trans-woman isn’t exactly the same as an actual man or woman.  He gives as an example Bruce Jenner in his mutilated form “Caitlyn.”  Chappelle says,

“I shouldn’t speak on this because I am not a woman, nor am I a trans. But as we established, I am a feminist. That’s right. I’m team TERF. I agree. Gender is a fact. You have to look at it from a woman’s perspective.”

“Caitlin Jenner was voted Woman of The Year her first year as a woman! Ain’t that something? She’s better than all of you.”

“Gender is a fact. Every human being on Earth had to pass through the legs of a woman to be on this Earth. That is a fact,” Chappelle said.

These quotes have actually been scrubbed by the news site that posted them to remove the various obscenities Chappelle adorned them with but they make the point.  The social media sites and the entertainment industry and just about all the powers that be are determined to force everybody on Earth to pretend that a man in a sundress, sexually mutilated or not, is exactly the same as a real-life woman.  And Dave Chappelle is the only man in the world who can get away with telling them that they’re lying.

What’s wrong with this picture?  We used to brag to the world that America was a “free country.”  That used to be the line.  If someone said, “Do you know what I think?”  And you knew you weren’t going to like that opinion you’d say dismissively, “Sure, go ahead, it’s a free country.”  Now that’s a joke.  You can’t say anything you really believe.  If you do, you’ll lose your job or your membership in a club or your bank account or your credit card or your website or your ability to fly on a plane.  The only guy in America who can speak his mind is Dave Chappelle.

And that tells us that despite Dave Chappelle’s endless jokes about blacks being second class citizens, the rest of us are the real slaves here.  The only free man in America is Dave Chappelle.  He’s free to speak his mind in public.

Reclaiming the Family – Part 8 – School

All of the nonsense that has been going on with schools adopting CRT to teach our children that white people are evil has made it painfully obvious that leaving your children’s education in the hands of the politicians and the school boards and the teacher’s unions is wildly irresponsible.  They’ve already ruined at least two whole generations of Americans in the last forty years.  We can’t afford to let them finish the job off in the next twenty.

The options aren’t great, and in some places, choices are nonexistent.  But just ignoring the problem means handing over the future of your children to terrible people who will fill their heads full of dangerous lies and nonsense.  So do the work and find out what your options are.  Let’s take this in order from best to worst.

The very best-case scenario is you live in a place where the state government and the local town government hasn’t allowed progressives to poison the curriculum with things like an anti-American version of history.  And even if this is true and even in the best of places there will have crept in the insidious poison of diversity and inclusion.  That means that lessons on George Washington and Daniel Boone will be pushed aside to drag out Harriet Tubman and whatever other Civil War holdovers they’ve dug up to impress on the children all the important contributions that minority members have made to America.  So instead of Alexander Graham Bell, and Henry Ford and Thomas Alva Edison they’ll dig up the guy who invented the traffic light because he was black.  Never mind that the telephone, the automobile and the electrification of the United States were revolutions that changed the way human beings lived everywhere on Earth.  But they were straight white men so they want to drop them down the memory hole.  So that is what you are dealing with.

But this is the best case.  So maybe your school is even better than that.  They give them the real history and just sprinkle a little Harriet Tubman on at the end.  In that case congratulations.  If the teachers aren’t crazy radicals, you’ll be able to have your kids go to the local public school without turning them into woke losers.

But let’s move down the ladder from there.  Suppose the local school is much worse.  Then you’ll find that not only are the kids being indoctrinated with the whole inclusivity/diversity claptrap but in addition, they are being handed critical race theory on top of that.  They are being systematically taught that white people are evil people who by their very nature enslave other races and even in our modern free society are responsible for all inequality and injustice.  And in addition to the racial component there will be the LGBTQ propaganda.  They will learn that the worst of white people are straight men.  That queer people are being driven to suicide by horrendously bad treatment and that even straight women are the victims of systematic oppression by the “Patriarchy.”  They might even try to convince your kids that they’re actually not the boys or girls they were born as but the opposite.  That they’re actually wonderful trans people who with the magic of hormone therapy and castration or mastectomy can change their sex and become some wonderful new monster.

So, if this is your local school then you have to look for the next alternative.  If circumstances allow and you can find a town with better schools nearby you could move.  If that is unrealistic then you could look for a religious or private school that specifically avoids these types of problems.  If you can find such a school it would be your best alternative.  But be aware it will not be cheap.  It will be very expensive.

If that is either unavailable or just beyond your financial means then the next choice is some kind of home schooling.  Now I can think of two ways this could be done.  One is for the mother to stay home and teach the children herself.  This may be very difficult.  Losing a salary may be extremely painful for some families.  But it has the added advantage that you’ll know exactly what your children are learning.  But if homeschooling is impossible to arrange then as a final option you can allow your children to go to the poisonous woke school but provide additional and counteracting instruction yourself either at night or on the weekends.  You can look at the lessons that they get from school and provide corrections for these that allow the children to see how they are being misled.  You can even explain to the children that we live in a world where the truth is being suppressed by the government and it’s necessary for those who would know the truth to pass it along clandestinely.  And in fact, since children enjoy rebellious behavior, you might find it easier than you think to engage your children in this dissident behavior.  If handled correctly they can even fulfill the requirements of the fake history and social studies they are taking but with the added advantage that they know the true story underneath and will see the subtly of how life in an occupied country has to be managed.  This will actually give you something to bond over and will force you to have good answers for the charges that Leftists level against Western Civilization.

So, these are the choices I can think of for us going forward.  Hopefully in the future school choice will be something that our side demands to prevent their toxic schools from being our only choices.  But for now, we must be adaptable to the existing situation and do everything we can to prevent our children from being buried in their lies.

The Bible Never Said that Morons Shall Inherit the Earth

Yesterday I was sitting in my mechanic’s waiting room while my car was being preventatively maintained.  I was typing on my laptop but the television was on behind my chair.  Now no one was there but me, it was 7:45 am and no one else was stupid enough to show up that early.  I couldn’t see the screen but unfortunately, I couldn’t help but hear the show that was on.  It was some kind of morning entertainment show where z-list celebrities who couldn’t find any other employment talked about the goings on in the television celebrity community.  Based on voices I identified the sassy black woman, an effeminate Hispanic man and the obligatory perky blonde airhead.  The topic of discussion was how a reality show of some kind had selected a straight white man for host AGAIN!

The black and brown members of the ensemble were livid that a queer person of color, preferably someone trans-something or other had been passed over to satisfy the patriarchy or the Ku Klux Klan or Donald Trump.  And after they had finished whining, blondie made sure she moved heaven and earth to denounce the evil straight, white conspiracy that forced poor unfortunate people like her to be unfairly employed as models and tv airheads.  I couldn’t see the screen but it sounded like she was scourging herself with a cat-o-nine-tails and pouring battery acid in the wounds.  From what I could tell the show was some sort of dating show where probably the contestants were mostly highly telegenic white men and women who fulfilled the fantasies of the female millennial generation’s secret appetite for the Cinderella story to be actualized on their tv screen.  And probably based on the marketing information the network had dug out they knew that putting a butch black lesbian in the host role would kill the buzz for this viewer demographic they went with the safe choice, some modern-day descendant of Jim Lange of the venerable 1970’s, “The Dating Game.”

But as I was forced to listen to the inane prattle that these people spouted, it became clear to me that they were morons.  And I don’t mean slightly stupid.  I mean they were a menace to themselves and everyone around them.  The statements they made and the logic they used to come to these statements was gibberish.  They might as well have been cave people from two million years ago before man had discovered fire or learned to count to two.  In fact, I think the paleolithic pre-humans would have run rings around these cretins.  After all the early hominids could chip out spear heads from flint and use them to kill mastodons and wooly mammoths and saber tooth tigers.  These modern dimwits couldn’t chip ice and the only thing they could kill was time.

And the more I thought about that the more I was convinced that our enemies are headed for disaster.  Very soon these people will starve to death.  They have no skills, no work ethic and no hope of functioning in a real world where people work in return for money.  Their only real skill would be as lion meat at the zoo.  It makes perfect sense that these people would vote for Bernie Sanders or Joe Biden.  They promise to give them a basic free income for doing nothing but breathing through their mouths.

What is imperative for our side is to get control of the government of the red states and make it impossible for these people to be able to leech off of these places.  All homeless and welfare benefits must be denied to young people who only want to mooch off of their fellow citizens.  Places like Texas and Florida must make their states so inhospitable for these losers that they run screaming back to California and Oregon and Washington.  And the few airheads that decide to stay and find actual jobs will be able to partake in the evolutionary process by which Homo erectus was able to become Homo sapiens, thinking man.  So, Governor DeSantis, pay attention.  Don’t support the deadbeats.  Either make them work or let them starve.  That should be the choice.

Oh, and we really need to make laws banning reality tv.  I swear I lost ten IQ points just sitting for a half hour being forced to listen to those idiots jabber.  It’s awful.

The Six Dollar Box of Oatmeal

Yesterday, Camera Girl returned from the grocery store and she was highly agitated.  I know that lately she has been finding her grocery shopping frustrating because of the price inflation.  But I could tell that she was much more annoyed than lately.  She explained to me that she went to buy oatmeal and there was none to be had.  So, she went to another store, I think it was Walmart, and they had oatmeal.  But instead of being $3 a box it was $6 a box.  Now that caught my attention.  I’ve been seeing inflation numbers quoted as six percent, ten percent or maybe fifteen percent.  But this data point is a 100% increase!  How the hell is that possible?  Well, when there is no oatmeal on the shelf you can charge whatever you want.

My next question was, “What happens when oatmeal goes from $3 a box to $6 a box in a week?  Well, I know what happened when inflation reached 18% in 1980.  Jimmy Carter got a new job in 1981, unemployed.  So does this mean that the Democrats are going to get drubbed in 2022 and Biden will get bounced in 2024?  Well, the first result looks pretty certain.  The second is much less clear.  Three years is an eternity when discussing the future.  For all we know Joe Biden will go with some kind of price-fixing scheme to insulate Americans from the damage he’s done to the economy.  Nixon tried that back in the 1970’s when OPEC hit us with the oil embargo.  But Nixon got a pass because he could blame the Arabs.  So, is there a change in the world that allows runaway inflation to happen without political consequences?  Maybe.

Everybody has been talking about the new reality where elections don’t require the electorate to vote.  Maybe that’s the theory for what’s happening.  The government tells companies to fire their employees because they don’t have proof of vaccination.  The government destroys the ability of industry to provide enough of the essentials for life and the poorest, or rather the poor that aren’t advantaged by protected status will have to do without when supply and demand puts essentials beyond their means to purchase.  The government does whatever it likes to hurt its enemies and help its friends.  It doesn’t sound like anything that could happen in America but it does sound like the Soviet Union.  Starving their own people was a specialty of the communists in Russia. The manufactured famine in the Ukraine is the classic example.  Maybe the communists running our government think they are ready to start using soviet tactics to destroy their enemies.

I don’t know.  It’s a strange time we find ourselves in.  All of this is happening because of COVID and because of the war against petroleum.  The desire to turn us into serfs is visible all around us.  Are we really so helpless that we’ll just let it happen?  I tend to think not.  Even idiotic white women in the suburbs must notice that their lives are becoming steadily worse.  At some point I assume they will decide that being against Donald Trump doesn’t justify allowing Joe Biden to impoverish their family and deprive them of the means of living a first world existence.

Anyway, that’s what I hope will happen.  In the meantime, I better go enjoy my bowl of doubly expensive oatmeal.  I won’t even bother to ask for sliced bananas in it.  My heart isn’t strong enough to hear what they must cost.

The Emptiest of Suits

I was casting about among the Roman emperors to try and find an equivalent for Biden.  But I couldn’t do it.  He has some of Caligula’s and Nero’s perversity but both of those psychopaths were much more honest.  While Tiberius was known to have a dissolute character, he was also a very able general.  No one could possibly accuse the Hero of Kabul of being that.  Even among the flotsam and jetsam of the fourth century I couldn’t find the right combination of greed, dishonesty, moral degeneracy and just downright stupidity needed to approximate Joe’s specialness.

So, I declared defeat and decided Joe was unique.  But there’s got to be a way of explaining how the formerly greatest nation on the face of the Earth is now headed by a lying, thieving, lecherous, imbecile.  One part of that is the fact that he was Obama’s vice president.  And that can be explained by saying that Obama is also a very dishonest man.  So, was part of Biden’s selection by Obama dependent on Joe’s willingness to share in the graft?  Probably so.  In that case I suppose it’s actually an advantage that he’s a moron.  After all, a smart crook is a lot more dangerous as a partner than a stupid one.  It wasn’t likely that Joe would bite the hand that fed him.  But how exactly does he get to be the President?

I think that the likeliest explanation is that it was an accident.  It was just the luck of the die.  Everything happened the way it did in an election year that the Democrats weren’t supposed to win.  And the pack of losers that Joe was up against were just so hopeless that his status as a former vice president meant they had to give it to him.  Of course, I think it’s assumed that the powers that be in the Democrat Party figured that since Joe is as bought and paid for as any man can be that even with his obvious deficiencies, they could still make his first term work for them.

But are things so far along the road toward banana republic that the people running the show don’t even have to pretend that the figurehead has a functional brain?  No one thinks that Biden writes his own speeches but he can’t even read his own speeches.  And the Biden administration has altogether dropped the pretense that this is a free country.  If parents complain about their school boards, the Attorney General of the United States publicly sets the FBI on them and declares them terrorists.  Think for a minute just how crazy that is.  What’s next, will snipers pick off the people chanting, “F*** Joe Biden” at a Virginia Tech football game?

So, what’s my point?  I guess I’m saying that we’ve crossed some kind of line.  Both sides are now aware that we’ve gone beyond what was an acceptable level of partisan arrogance.  This is now akin to what went on in Chicago when Al Capone owned the police and the mayor’s office.  Law enforcement corruption allows political enemies, even up to the President of the United States to be harassed and his cabinet members prosecuted for imaginary crimes.  Joe Biden was given the presidency as a payoff for his decades of service as a bought man.  He will mouth whatever they ask and he will do whatever they order him to do.

And the longer this goes on and the more extreme the behavior the more certain that it will require at some point, a complete break with representative government.  In order to ensure against an extreme reaction to the takeover it will be necessary to tighten control over everyone outside of the oligarchy to an extreme degree.  To do that will require something akin to the totalitarian methods that were seen in Soviet Russia or East Germany.  And in retrospect, we’re really not that far from that point now.

But let me get back to the original point of this post.  It’s the insult being added to the injury.  Making Joe Biden president is an insult that is hard to overstate.  It could be argued that if they had made an orangutan or a chimpanzee president it wouldn’t have been that much worse.  In fact, apes are relatively personable, at least if they’re behind unbreakable glass and can’t fling their feces at you.  And speaking of which, how much longer will Joe be trusted not to do that?

written by leftist loons, we are educated by the authors on how it’s not the fifteen months of riots, murder, arson and robbery that have made their cities hellholes that tourists avoid and residents flee for safer places.  It’s actually the police that are the problem.  And remember these two cities, Portland and Minneapolis are governed by the most anti-police city governments in America.  Both cities are actively working to dismantle their police departments.  So effectively there is no policing going on in either city.  The police, such as they are, barely make their presence known.  They wait until the crimes have occurred and show up to record the details for police reports that can be used by the victims for insurance purposes and to direct the ambulance or morgue truck to the bodies, living or dead.  But the articles are clear that it is systemic racism that is killing these cities.  Although the Portland article is clear in telling us that Portland is safe and vibrant.  It’s only prejudice and racism that is spreading the false impression that the city is a dirty, abandoned shell of its former self, filled with homeless encampments and homicidal drug addicts.

These articles are very long so you might want to skim them.  Better advice is just skip them.  I’ve done the public service of reading this crap for you.  I think the take away I got from these articles is that even in the leftist bastions of Portland and Minneapolis it is getting difficult to sell people on the “defund the police” narrative.  They try, they really try.  We get thousands of words about policing being slave control and Jim Crow and blah, blah, blah.  But I think they’re trying to sell all this to people who just want their lives to go back to normal.  And not just white people.  Minneapolis has become very dangerous.  And that has been noticed by the black neighborhoods.  The change impacts everyone.  The white neighborhoods have seen an enormous increase in property crime but also things like carjackings.  But it’s in the black neighborhoods where things have gotten out of hand.  So, it will take a lot of talking in circles to convince the black population in Minnesota that they really want to get rid of the police.

Portland is one of the whitest big cities in America.  Their problem is the enormous homeless population.  Druggies come from far and wide to live in a place that reflects their values.  When there was a working police force, it could be kept under control.  Now that’s gone.  So, you have antifa and BLM rioting, the homeless defecating in the streets and addicts robbing you at knifepoint but Portland wants people to think it’s a “vibrant” and safe place to visit and live.  It turns out that’s a hard sell.

It will be interesting to me to see if these two cities are able to convince their residents to get rid of their police.  Maybe they can.  Leftists are very good at ignoring reality.  Maybe they can make it happen.  But if they do, I’d guess that the size of these cities will shrink way down.  Most people want to live in a place where they are safe.  And this goes double for families.  It takes a really hard-core leftist to be willing to let her kids be victims of street crime to prove a point.  But the writers of these articles sound like they just might be crazy enough to try.  It does indeed take all kinds.

Is the Left Ready for Civil War?

I used to think that the Left was in over their heads and were letting themselves be panicked into allowing their crazier allies run wild during the Trump administration in order to discredit him.  I’m no longer sure.  I’ve been thinking about whether maybe they want to push this thing to martial law and go all the way to a permanent coup.

They keep using the FBI to criminalize dissent and they are now unphased by the permanent anarchy in places like Portland and Chicago.  Maybe they intend to harass normal people endlessly until in desperation they turn to force to protect themselves and use this as an excuse to declare martial law.  I hadn’t considered this seriously before but now I did.  After all, even a half-assed US military is equipped with weapons that no private group or even a state militia could deal with.  Drones and tanks and attack helicopters don’t have to be controlled by the best and brightest to win the day.  I know this sound like lunacy but I would have said that about locking down the planet to deal with a bioweapon that when looked at objectively doesn’t exactly look like an extinction event.

Well, maybe it’s true.  Maybe they’d like to provoke a serious reaction.  They keep trying to gin up a militia attack on themselves.  They let antifa and BLM torture normal people at every turn.  It’s a cinch they want to use these things to go after gun rights and tighten the surveillance state powers they already have.

For the sake of argument let’s say that they’ve calculated the results of a martial law takeover and are now willing to change the government into a permanent autocracy and forego the charade of elections.  Should that make us change the way we act?  Should we be walking on eggshells to avoid giving them an excuse?  I don’t think so.

My way of thinking about it is that if they did decide to take over, they could easily manufacture whatever kind of incident they think they need to do it.  With complete control of all communications and the press they already can tell whatever story they want to.  In fact, they already do.  So, I don’t think they need any help.

But after a little thought I’ve decided they won’t do it.  But neither is this a panicky accident.  I think the threat is what they want to use.  They’ll attack individuals and they will use lawfare and they will ratchet up the controls to almost any lengths short of actually declaring a coup.  I think intimidation and psyops are what they think are their strong suit.  And with the antifa and BLM benefitting from selective enforcement of the law the damage they can do to their enemies is pretty impressive.

So, I don’t think the Left is prepared for war.  I think they know that if the armed forces were seen to be unleashed against the civilian population it would have a delegitimizing effect on their regime both nationally and internationally.  As it is Joe Biden has become a figure of ridicule.  The chants at football games and the general mockery he is receiving by anyone not completely in the tank for the Dems shows that the credibility of his administration has already been eroded.  It won’t take many more failures to convince the majority of Americans that his regime is a failure.

So, if the Left has a policy of rattling sabers but stopping short of actual war what should our policy be?  Well, I guess that depends on what we are trying to do.  If we still have a hope of regaining control of the federal government then the plan is to disassemble the deep state.  Fire an enormous percentage of the management of the intelligence bureaus and start pulling back their authority to intimidate Americans.

If we don’t have hope of getting the federal government back under control, we will need to start building up the autonomy and strength of the red states and coordinate their actions to resist tyrannical actions by the federal government.

Illinois State’s Attorney Declares Gang Wars Legal

A gangland shootout that left one participant dead and was filmed on police video has resulted in no criminal charges.  The five participants who survived were arrested after a standoff and seventy five shell casings were recovered but Illinois State’s Attorney Kim Foxx refused to bring charges against the gang members because the shootout was between “mutual combatants.”

I am in awe of this decision.  She doesn’t want to take a chance of blaming whichever was the “innocent” gang.  Well, they do say it’s better that a hundred guilty men go free rather than one innocent man go to jail.

To my mind the correct strategy is to sell all the gangs better weapons.  If they had rocket propelled grenade launchers they could do this thing right.  No more survivors.  Luckily we will soon have an influx of Afghans into Chicago and they’ll set these gangbangers straight on how you fight a war.

 

ZMan Bashes Conservative Inc.

No one enjoys bashing the likes of Kevin Williamson and David French more than the ZMan.  I always remember fondly his description of an apocryphal event where a Massachusetts state trooper was beating a libertarian somewhere in western Mass. and the ZMan and a number of passing motorists stopped to help the policeman in his useful and pleasurable civic duty.

I can’t remember if it was a pod cast or a column but I do remember it was sometime around Thanksgiving.  I think it w as an homage (in a way) to the Alice’s Restaurant story.

Well, he has a column about the self-loathing trolls that carry water for the cloud people over at National Review or wherever they’re holed up now.  And it is full of venom and scorn for these pathetic relics of a bygone era when many on the Right still thought of them as friends.  As usual, very entertaining if you like cruel mockery which, of course, I do.
